Her apartment has a patio and I was able to plant flowers in her flower garden that gives her such joy. She has a wonderful view and apartment. The staff there is excellent! I wouldn’t have her live any place else. Love it, Love it❤️"

"The rooms were of good size. I liked the size of the rooms, although my sister's in a two-bedroom, so she would prefer that, I'm sure. The rooms I saw were pretty much empty, so it's kind of hard to see what they'd be like when they're full of items, but they were very pleasant and roomy, and I liked them all. I know I didn't see anything I didn't like. The staff was very nice, very friendly, had a lot of information, and answered all my questions. They spent a lot of time talking to me. It went well. They showed me the dining area, and they gave me a treat. It was landscaped very nicely, and everything was very clean inside."

"I like the openness at Holiday Copley Place. The cost is affordable. They're very friendly and very welcoming. I didn't see any kind of dirt or anything anywhere. All utilities are included in the cost. They provide three meals a day. They have bingo, cards, and board games wherever they can get together and play. They make sure that somebody sees you at least once a day. So if you don't go out of your room, they'll come and check on you."

"We toured Vitalia Senior Residences at Montrose. It's gorgeous. It's very high-end. The staff seems wonderful. We did eat food there. Their food was excellent and it's like a menu. They have regular China, silverware, cloth napkins, and menus so you can get anything that you want. You can get breakfast at any time of the day. I mean, you can get breakfast at 6:00 at night, just makes a difference. My mother got a sandwich and I had gotten a different sandwich. The only thing that would concern us is the fact that my mother is handicapped. She's on a scooter. For her to get into bed, she needs handrails to help get her into bed. So the only problem is the fact that we looked and they don't have any, like at home, she has a hospital bed. The price was expensive, but it was beautiful."

"Hudson Meadows is a brand-new facility that just opened up before Christmas, I believe. They are only at 9% occupancy when we visited, so it was a little tougher to gauge the feel of the place because there was just nobody around. The place was huge, and it was more catered to a vacation-style living. If you did not know you are in an independent living facility, you would think you are on a cruise ship. When you walk in, they have a double-story, open, glass-encased entrance hall with a water feature. They have a game room, a little store, and a big theater that they also let the local community use. The local middle school even had a spelling bee in there, which also entertained the residents. To me, that's kind of cool. They have beautiful rooms, a beautiful dining area, and it was just absolutely a stunning facility. I believe they also have reciprocal unit buildings all over the United States that you could use when you travel. Like if you go to Arizona, they have guest suites that you can stay in for nothing, which I think was really neat. They only offer independent living. They are very friendly and probably a little over-the-top pushy, but I understand that they are struggling to get residents. You will just feel slightly pressured there. The staff was nice. I just didn't meet that many. There was just really nobody around except the woman showing us around."

"What I like best about Springwood of Hudson is Tammy. She is our manager and she is always available. She has planned activities for us every day. She is very concerned about what's happening in our lives. Our neighbors are all very friendly. The building is very well maintained by Scott and no matter what I need, they're always available. I've been here for two years now and I'm very, very pleased with it. One thing that upset me is that the rent was increased eight percent last year and then eight percent this year so that starting in January, my rent went up eight percent and quite a few people left because of that which is unfortunate. I'm blessed I have children who will help me if I won't be able to afford it if they raise it any more, but I hope that they won't. There are many of us who live on fixed incomes. It's a three-story building. We have two wings, north and south. Tammy is in the center with her office. It's very bright, it's always clean, and it's very pretty. She's always decorating per season. It's always very sweet and kind. When you walk in the hallways, people are very kind. I just can't say enough about it. It's a wonderful community. It's a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, and I have a lovely little porch overlooking a lake, so it's a very lovely little apartment. It's nice to have the opportunity to praise Tammy, Scott and Tracy, who is also the cleaning lady here. They're really wonderful people, and they have been so kind to me. We do our own cooking."

"I chose to be here. I picked the room I’m moving into. They explained the activities, and it sounded like they can keep me active. There were people talking to each other when I was there. I was very impressed with what I saw. The dining area looked big, it looked inviting, and you would think that it was a restaurant. It’s a nice looking, antsy place. They have an exercise room."

"I have had my mom at several communities. Storypoint has been absolutely amazing, from the quality of food, to the cleanliness of the facility and the amazing care they provide to my mom. There are so many wonderful activities daily and outings she participates in despite her being wheelchair bound. Mom is so happy and a weight had been lifted off my shoulders knowing she is safe, happy and cared for."

"The facility is very professionally run. It was quiet and orderly when I toured it. It was close to home for my brothers and nieces and nephews to continue to visit on a regular basis. The price was all inclusive, which made it easier to figure financing."

"As soon as you walk in the front doors, you see a beautiful, clean building and a caring staff! My parents have been residents since December, 2021. Best decision we made! They have everything to keep the residents happy, busy and entertained! Delicious food in a beautiful dining room! 1 and 2 bedroom apartments which are perfect for the elderly!"

"We had a very nice tour at Light of Hearts Villa. The admissions guy was very knowledgeable and helpful. The facility was beautiful. They have a bunch of different room choices, which was lovely. It's a Catholic facility so they have masses. The dining room was very nice. They have a big activity room and an activity director. It used to be a high school and they have transformed it beautifully. It was very high quality. It stood out and was lovely."
