Her apartment has a patio and I was able to plant flowers in her flower garden that gives her such joy. She has a wonderful view and apartment. The staff there is excellent! "The rooms were of good size. I liked the size of the rooms, although my sister's in a two-bedroom, so she would prefer that, I'm sure. The rooms I saw were pretty much empty, so it's kind of hard to see what they'd be like when they're full of items, but they were very pleasant and roomy, and I liked them all. I know I didn't see anything I didn't like. The staff was very nice, very friendly, had a lot of information, and answered all my questions. They spent a lot of time talking to me. It went well. They showed me the dining area, and they gave me a treat. It was landscaped very nicely, and everything was very clean inside."

"I like the openness at Holiday Copley Place. The cost is affordable. They're very friendly and very welcoming. I didn't see any kind of dirt or anything anywhere. All utilities are included in the cost. They provide three meals a day. They have bingo, cards, and board games wherever they can get together and play. They make sure that somebody sees you at least once a day. So if you don't go out of your room, they'll come and check on you."

"My husband and I have a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment. We have a living room with kitchenette sporting a full-size stove and refrigerator. We also have a balcony. We were drawn to Danbury because of the friendly, welcoming residents. A healthy mixture of single men and women as well as several couples were evident at lunch in the dining room. My husband will tell you we moved so he could attend the weekly Happy Hour! We enjoy the efforts of the Life Enrichment Team making a variety of activities available. We enjoy going out for lunch or to a concert on the Danbury bus. The quality of the entertainment and speakers has been very good. We occasionally paint or make a craft. I enjoy the Book Club and playing Mahjong. These are only a few of the plethora of activities to choose from. Dining is a treat at Danbury. You can eat any time and have lots of tasty food to choose from. Breakfast, salads and sandwiches anytime as well as specials offered every day. The friendly wait staff soon got to know us by name and brings our drinks when they come to take our order. The dining room is the social hub of Danbury. It is where we meet new people and chat with our friends. We have confidence in the current team of nurses and aides. Our head nurse and her assistant work very hard to maintain a full schedule of caregivers. For us the staffing looks to be the best its been since arriving at the end of 2023. The Chief Executive Officer and her administrative staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Always available to hear residents concerns and comments. Suggestions are welcomed. They truly try to implement suggestions when feasible and work quickly toward resolutions when issues arise. I want to give kudos to the receptionists who are some of the most patient and helpful staff members. Often getting challenging questions, complaints and balancing several balls in the air. I can count on them to relay messages or get the answers needed in a timely manner. My husband and I have lived at Danbury over two years and have not regretted leaving our home for the friendly, stimulating, family atmosphere of assisted living at Danbury Senior Living in Hudson. It’s a relief not to have to cook, clean or do laundry. There is someone to help, no matter what problem arises. Response time is certainly quicker than calling a repair man, for example. We have made so many friends here. This is home."

"I have had my mom at several communities. Storypoint has been absolutely amazing, from the quality of food, to the cleanliness of the facility and the amazing care they provide to my mom. There are so many wonderful activities daily and outings she participates in despite her being wheelchair bound. Mom is so happy and a weight had been lifted off my shoulders knowing she is safe, happy and cared for."

"Independence Village is the perfect place for my active and social parents. The apartments and facility are very clean, pleasant and have a homey atmosphere. The entire staff is consistenly helpful and friendly to residents and guests alike. They are accomodating to individual needs and regularly invite input from and provide information to the residents. The dining experience is more like a restaurant than a "facility" with food prepared on site by a chef. A variety of choices are available at each meal and frequent special food events are fun and amazing. Activities are also frequent, varied and engaging. The beautiful courtyard and indoor gathering places make socialization easily accessible. The location in Aurora is quaint and convenient to shopping and community amenities."

"The rooms vary in size and you have a choice to find one that fits your needs and monetary funds. Each day the menu changes for specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, they offer a variety of foods that remain the same daily. The staff is wonderful. I want to "shout out" to a few staff members. Cindy who is at the front desk ready to greet family and residents with a smile and help whenever/wherever she can. Jackie who is in housekeeping who always has a greeting and kind words for residents and family. She is ready to assist with any residential needs. Colin in maintenance continues to help get the residents established in their apartments so everything is operating. He is willing to stop in to check on anything that may need "tweaking" to help the residents. NOW, I know I have mentioned a few staff members, but everyone at Danbury Senior Living in Brunswick, Ohio is friendly, helpful and caring. The nursing staff is remarkable. They care so much about the residents and their needs."

"We made arrangements to move into the Vitalia Senior Residences of Solon. We wanted a two-bedroom, and they don't have any available yet, but we gave them the deposit, now I'm in the queue. It's relatively new. We've eaten there a couple of times and the food was terrific. Everybody that we've encountered has just been amazingly friendly from the staff to the residents. It seems that there are a lot of programs that will be available to us when we're there. The facility is very well kept. It's very close to where we live, so we're not going to be going far from the things we're familiar with. Shaq was terrific. They have a full kitchen. They have a courtyard there."

"My mom will be moving into Sanctuary Grande. We liked it because of the food and amenities. They have a lot more choices and a lot more offerings. The rooms were very nice and more spacious than a lot of them. The views were better, and the kitchens were a little bit smaller than some of the other places we looked at. But overall, nicer rooms, and better view; and the person who gave us a tour was very nice and answered lots of questions. They have activities, and my daughter was very impressed with a freezer that they have in the residence craft room that family members can help themselves with novelty ice cream treats. She may have sold grandma on it because of that."
