This is the absolute best cleanest friendliest place ever. Sara is so knowledgeable about Danbury and anticipating all of your needs. Of all the area assured living places. Danbury by far is the nicest. Cleanliness is key to their success and it shows. So many activities to do (or not - your choice!) and the pub, bistro, grounds, libraries, living areas are all great

The staff is great and is very helpful. There are so many activities to keep the residents busy and interacting with each other. The rooms are the perfect size.

The memory care unit is beautiful and always clean. My Dad loves the meals! The staff is extremely caring and always accessible if I have questions or need something for my Dad. The ladies that run the activities are amazing! I am very happy that we chose Danbury for his home. I feel confident that he is well cared for.

A great facility. Had a few bumps in the road at first but everyone worked hard to get things corrected. Fantastic staff everyone is always pleasant and professional. Building is always clean and the food is good as well. The Director went out of her way to make my Dad happy and feel like this was his new home. I would recommend this facility for your loved ones.

The entire staff is wonderful. My mother-in-law has lived there for about 4 years now. She truly loves it as well as me and my wife. The know her in a very personal way and when I go to see her the staff tells me what I need to know about her care. I would highly recommend Dannbury to any one. My dad was also at Dannbury but in Mentor. My mother thought the facility was wonderful. Unfortunately his stay was only about 3 months because he did in fact pass away from Alzheimer’s disease. Again the staff was wonderful and did a great job. Me and my wife and my mother were extremely satisfied with everything Dannbury had to offer. Kudos to everybody and thank you.

I was looking for an assisted living facility for my sister in which she could retain her independence to a degree but then also have the luxury of nutritional meals three times a day and the fact that staff would be checking in on her just to make sure that she was OK on days that I could not be there. The facility in Brunswick is beautiful well laid out very clean and bright and the apartment for my sister is absolutely perfect for her.

My parents are new residents and the staff have been kind, attentive, empathetic and accommodating. It is a difficult time in our lives and they made us feel like we aren’t alone and that they truly care. Rooms are light and welcoming with plenty of amenities. My parents feel like they’re in a home away from home. Special thanks to Sarah, Theresa, Eileen, Gloria, and Alex. Each have gone out of their way for us and made us feel heard and seen.

Communication is key to every successful partnership, the staff at Danbury has been a great example of communication. We have had some health issues and resistance to moving to assisted living. Sara and the team at Danbury have been extremely helpful and supportive guiding all family members both local and out of state through this trying process. Danbury has answered all questions in a timely matter and throughly! Once we got them moved in they have described their “home” as a country club or a vacation condo. The food is excellent, the staff at every level has made them feel welcome, they have met neighbors and made new friends already. All this has made it easier on the rest of the family knowing they are well cared for and happy!

My mother is currently at Danbury Brunswick. We love it, they give her wonderful care, and because it is a residential facility, there are licenses and regulations, so they implemented a service to come in and help them do the things that they are not allowed to do. We're very satisfied with it and she really likes it. She started on the independent living side first. What we like about the place is that everything is in this one big building, they just put her in the other wing when she had to move to assisted living. It's physically gorgeous, the staff members are very caring and friendly, and the food is terrific. In fact, when we were moving her in there, my husband and I thought that if we could figure out a way to move ourselves in there and not have her know, we would have done it by the following weekend. It's that nice. The assisted living is in the same big building as in the independent. The building is shaped like a V so she just moved from one leg of that V over to the other, which is nice. The nursing staff is good, the caregivers are very kind, and I have witnessed this myself. They do everything they can to promote social interaction, which has been difficult during COVID. She has access to all the therapies and interventions she needs, it's all onsite. They have an onsite physician, onsite director of nursing, it's all right in there. If she runs out of shower soap, they make a shopping list for her and they will run and get it for her. The facility, your jaw would drop if you walked in there, it looks like a five-star hotel. It's also kept immaculately clean. They have cooks in the kitchen but they also have a cordon bleu chef, so the food is great. Their activity calendar is so big they couldn't fit it on a standard size paper, they had to stretch it out into a legal size because there is that much for them to do. They have a room available if you want to have friends over and play a game night. You just have to put your name on the board to use it. The chef doesn't like cheap kinds of snacks, so you get appetizers instead, and that's just considered part of the service. They have a pub and everything is free in there.They have a theater room with a schedule of the movies being shown. They have a beauty parlor and a massage spa. They have the basic exercise room with high-end exercise equipment. I know it's high-end because I work for the YMCA, and I know good equipment when I see it, I know the brand names too. They have onsite OT, PT, speech and physical therapy, it's just an amazing place.

I toured Danbury in Brunswick, and it's very nice. The staff was wonderful, they have a chef, and food and dining room were fabulous. They have physical therapy, an exercise room, a full-size theater, and bistro where you can get beer and wine. They have living rooms outside the rooms every 500 meters.
