"I am a resident of VITALIA Active Adult Community North Royalton. It's been fine. I have no problem with it whatsoever. It's fairly new and they're all new in what they are doing. Some of them have been in business longer, but not everyone. The staff was fine, otherwise I wouldn't be here. The food is good. They introduced varieties and things. The building is so wonderful. The rooms are big which is good when you've moved from a big home. I've only been involved in a small amount of activities because they do get physical therapy and things like that. So, that limits some of their things, but the activities are fine. I participated in short bus trips to stores and things, and then special events. Some special events take place. The biggest value, I think, is your safety and you're not unattended, people know you're there. The upkeep is very good. There's a pool and an activity room, and they do accept pets."

"The staff at Emeritus is simply amazing! They are kind, compassionate, caring, and treat my Grandmother with the respect that she deserves. She is suffering from Alzheimer's and can be a bit of a challenge to take care of, but the staff is always very patient and understanding with her. The location of the facility is not necessarily the nicest or most tranquil unfortunately. It is located next to a busy road with cars zooming by at 45 mph day and night. It can sometimes be a bit of a distraction at night when my Grandma is trying to go to sleep. The facility grounds themselves are well maintained and include a nice sidewalk area where walks can be taken. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care my dear Grandmother receives everyday. I know she is being treated well and that gives me a great deal of peace of mind when I go to bed at night. "

"My mother stayed for respite. They were very friendly. It was very clean. They seemed genuinely concerned about my mother's welfare. Her room was very clean, it was pretty. It was really nice. It was perfect for Mom for what we needed. The facilities were a little older than some of the places I saw."

"I'm living in Danbury Broadview Heights. Felicia is the executive director. I moved into Danbury four months ago and Felicia was hired a couple months after I moved in and she inherited some existing problems and within a month or so she had them all straightened out to resident satisfaction. She's a very positive, upbeat person and interacts with residents and employees in a very positive, upbeat manner. My interaction with the other staff is always very positive. My apartment is large and it's kept very clean by the housekeeping staff and there is plenty of storage space. There's a wide variety of daily activities to fit many different personality types. There's something to appeal to everyone. They have a back patio where you can sit and chat or read. Sometimes, they have happy hours out there where you take a beverage and mingle with the other residents. Felicia was able to weed out staff that gave less than her standard of care to residents and hire on to replace them with people that were more up to her standards and more resident focused. If anything, the only complaint about food is there's too much of it. One of the reasons that we checked in there is because it looks beautiful as we drove past and it was close to my mom and it was just as nice on the inside as we imagined it was going to be on the outside."

"My father is 80 years old. And although he is physically able to live on his own, we came to a point where his cognitive degeneration declined to the point where we felt he could not live on his own. He fought leaving his condo and independent life. But following a stint in the hospital, we felt it was a good time to make the leap. The Inn at Apple Ridge was able to meet our aggressive move-in schedule. The facility is absolutely amazing. We have noticed an unbelievable difference in our dad. He is happy, lively, and busy. His "check in" calls only last a couple of minutes as he is always on the move. He loves his room, the people, the food and the freedom. The Inn at Apple Ridge was best leap of faith we could have made."

"So happy with all of the staff at Story Point! All are very friendly, kind hearted, eager to help with anything we ask of them. And we ask a lot! We could no longer handle the care of our loved one. We feel at peace now that Story Point was the right place to trust. The rooms are beautiful, the food is great, plenty to do! I am so thankful we found them!"

"My father was in the rehab unit of Mt. Alverna Village after a medical procedure. He just got discharged at the end of July. It's newer, very clean, and a very nice facility. The staff was very attentive to his needs. He did not use the dining area. He pretty much ate in his room. He said the food was very good, and they give you a lot of it. He didn't do much other than his therapy. He went and saw a singer one night and he said that she was pretty good."

"Danbury always felt like a home to us. Friendly staff, clean and spacious apartments, nurses that care and alerted us when things just didn’t look right with our father. We were at ease knowing he was safe and well cared for. After living in the Danbury independent villas, which are wonderful, we made the decision to move our father to the assisted living building. Danbury made the move an easy transition for our father and we were glad Danbury’s care was always consistent and thoughtful."

"My aunt has moved into Heritage Crossing. The staff there seems to genuinely care about the quality of life for their clients. They seem genuinely concerned about what my aunt's specific interests are. My aunt has been there and I'm in another state, but they talk to my sister and my mom about what my aunt would like to do. My aunt likes to arrange flowers, so they said that they could maybe go to Hobby Lobby and get some flowers for her to arrange. There's a lot of sunlight in their common areas, and several different seating areas so that people can gather in groups. It's bright, sunny, and very inviting. They're the cleanest and most well cared for facility we visited. A couple of places that we looked at were not so nice, but I think Heritage Crossing is of excellent value."

"My aunt has her own little apartment here. The rooms have a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen with a little dining area. She can go down to the little dining room, and sometimes they have some activities down there. My sister said she liked the place when we were visiting my aunt. It is a nice area, and it’s close to the mall and supermarkets. "

"Brooklyn Pointe is a superb facility. It's beautiful, brand new, nice, and clean. The staff was great, and everything was good. We were fully masked and observed all legal protocols."
