"My father moved into Cardinal Court, and it is the best it could possibly be. The care for Alzheimer's patients could not be any better. They are wonderful, and I'm so thankful that he's there. The people are wonderful. I've been there every day, their food is excellent, and their kitchen staff is nice. They chef is wonderful, they give the residents snacks, and I actually have to tell them to feed my dad less."

"Brookdale Montrose is very good for my parents. The staff have been extremely sympathetic, helpful, and very respectful of my parents. The rooms are spacious. I’ve eaten there three or four times as a guest of my parents, and the food is good. The dining room is very nice and looks like a restaurant. There are many different clubs and crafts, sporting events, and cocktail hours. My parents are pretty mobile, so they treat it like an apartment. They’re not totally dependent on the community for their social life. They go out a lot and have many friends who visit, aside from family. The place has a large community room, a card room, a library, and it’s located very close to a shopping center. They provide transportation for shopping and cultural events. They have a small family dining room off the main dining room, but we have a big family, so that room is not big enough. We’re very, very lucky to have our parents there. "

"We picked Heritage Crossing because my sister and I did some research and this facility just seems like it would fit my mom's needs. The people were very helpful. The last place that she was in was going to charge my mom for an entire month's stay, but Heritage Crossing said that they would take care of it for us, so that was big. The people here are very friendly. So far, we're very pleased. We're able to go visit my mom outside for now while the weather is warm enough, and they're very cooperative about that. They're supposedly using all the measures possible to protect against the COVID-19 virus. She says that the food is good. So far, they have activities two days a week. My mom has been enjoying them and it got to a point where she's interested in the activities."

"When we walked into Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville, it was like a five-star hotel. The assisted living rooms were like apartments that had wreaths hung out on their doors, and it was very bright and cheery. They were just beautiful. The people we met were very, very nice. The chef came in with a platter of fruit and cheeses, and because it was the first one I looked at, we were sold on the studio that was on the first floor that had a little door to walk out onto a patio. However, the more I thought about it, I didn't know if the studio was fine because everything was in the same room. They had a pool inside the place though, an exercise room, a theater room where they hold virtual masses on TV, a library, physical therapy, and a dining room that was like a restaurant where you order off a menu. It was just beautiful."

"We toured The Inn at Apple Ridge. They showed us the whole thing. We started in the assisted living and then we walked into the memory care area to see that whole section. It was all very nice. It was beautiful. When you walk in, the dining room is right there and the chapel is beautiful. They have a bar and it's just so clean. It's like you're in a five-star hotel. It was just unbelievable, but I felt it was too big of a facility for my aunt, that's why we didn't go with them. The staff was very informative, very friendly, answered all of our questions, and very knowledgeable. Their garden area was beautiful and they had a kitchen area. Everything was immaculate."

"We have been staying at Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Royalton for nine months. We have games. They have an outdoor walking club here. They have somebody leading a gentle exercise. We go to lunch and dinner every day in the big dining room, which is quite nice. It is a very beautiful facility. The facility is new. All the staff are very nice. I would not have anything negative to say about them. The servers in the dining room are wonderful. They get to know everybody's name, and that's a good thing. I'd say the only problem here, which I'm sure is just about everywhere you go, is that sometimes there just isn't quite enough staff. Sometimes serving in the dining room is slow because there are only a couple of people available to help with it. There is a good variety of activities available. I was a little disappointed that I'd already received an increase before my full year was up."

"My mother stayed for respite. They were very friendly. It was very clean. They seemed genuinely concerned about my mother's welfare. Her room was very clean, it was pretty. It was really nice. It was perfect for Mom for what we needed. The facilities were a little older than some of the places I saw."

"My mother-in-law spent a month at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls in order to regain her strength after an arduous illness that left her extremely weak, unable to live alone and care for herself. The care and attention she received at Maplewood from a dedicated team of employees that worked together (physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, aides, dietary staff, etc.) helped her fully regain her strength and basically brought her back to life!! She especially loved the food and constant attention she received from the friendly staff members. She did not want to leave when it was time for her to return to her home!! Maplewood is a clean, safe, well-run, home-away-from home. I would highly recommend Maplewood as a place where families will know their loved one is getting exceptional care in a safe environment that feels like home. "

My meal there was delicious and they were able to accommodate my strict diet with no problems! The staff that I met were genuine and knowledgeable to say the least! "Danbury always felt like a home to us. Friendly staff, clean and spacious apartments, nurses that care and alerted us when things just didn’t look right with our father. We were at ease knowing he was safe and well cared for. After living in the Danbury independent villas, which are wonderful, we made the decision to move our father to the assisted living building. Danbury made the move an easy transition for our father and we were glad Danbury’s care was always consistent and thoughtful."
