It was just a little farther out than what my friend wanted to get away from what she considers her home area, and that was the only concern she has. The visit was wonderful, and once we got out there, she was very frustrated because she thought it was just way too far. "

"I like this facility. I like the physical setup, but it offers too much stuff that I don't need. I don't need 3 meals a day, and they also don't have full kitchens. It's really more of a place for people who need assistance, and I don't need assistance yet. It'd be more like a hotel living, I guess. I was looking for independent living, but they're assisted living. The staff was very nice, and they're very friendly. In fact, the guy has called me a couple of times just to see what I'm looking at. I like the facility. The rooms are arranged around a central big opening, which I liked. I also like that they had a bunch of really nice rugs hanging on the wall. Most places I've looked at have decor that does not appeal to me. This place had 3 different choices for an entree, which was nice (although they're all meat). It seems like every meal you have to have meat, and I don't eat much meat."

"I loved Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls; I would live in there myself. I loved the way the halls were decorated, it was very homey, there were lots of seating areas, and the halls didn’t feel institutional at all. People were so friendly, everything just looked so comfortable, and it was really so beautiful. "

"The Inn at Apple Ridge was new, small, and had a pretty good range of activities. The people were very welcoming and friendly. The salesperson who took us through was very good and very nice. They have games and things scattered throughout the building for people to play, table games, a large outdoor courtyard with some activities, beanbag tosses, and a putting green. It's a very nice place."

"Mom’s biggest issue is confusion. Her main goal is to go home and be with her parents. She was extremely unhappy in her own home. Once we moved her to Maplewood she became more content and developed friendships. She still wants to go home but she doesn’t mind waiting at Maplewood. It’s an easy place to live, everything is ideally laid out. There’s plenty of safe outdoor space and room for indoor walks. She likes eating in the restaurant and enjoys the games they play. The staff is top notch!! Mom loves kidding around with the “girls” that work there. "

"A great facility. Had a few bumps in the road at first but everyone worked hard to get things corrected. Fantastic staff everyone is always pleasant and professional. Building is always clean and the food is good as well. The Director went out of her way to make my Dad happy and feel like this was his new home. I would recommend this facility for your loved ones."

"It's been 7 yrs since my father passed away. He moved to Cardinal village after my mom passed away because he was lonely. He had lost his best friend 6 months earlier. He spent about a year in retirement village before he had to move to assisted living and passed not long after that. EVERYONE there were wonderful. The staff, the other residents, everyone. He felt at home there. He loved the screened porch. We feel he was blessed to be there. If you are considering a retirement place to make life easier for yourself, or your parents, I highly recommend that you check this place out. "

"Our visit at Danbury Woods in Cuyahoga Falls was very good. They had a good social thing, a very good food program, and nice rooms. It was a much smaller facility, so there wasn't a lot of extra room for activities. The person who assisted perspective customers was exceptionally well-informed. We were favorably impressed with the facility and the few people we did speak with."

"I put my mom over to Vitalia and it's been fantastic. The people that are there are wonderful, the amenities have been fantastic, and the food is unbelievable. She has a 1-bedroom apartment. It's brand-new so everything including the dining area is bright, it's inviting, and the staff is nice. They will accommodate any needs you have as far as your diet, like if you only want 1 egg, or you only want or even half of a flatbread pizza, they're happy for you. The community itself is clean and very inviting."

"Mulberry Gardens Senior Living was very nice. I just think that it is out of my budget. Their food was excellent. I would go there just for the food. It was nice and clean. They also provide transportation. It was like going to a 5-star restaurant. They put linens on the tables and use glass dishes. They serve you, and the food was good. They had a schedule of activities and the apartments were very nice. They have amenities like an activity room, they have entertainment come in sometimes, and they have a piano in the dining room. Overall, the facility was well-maintained, it's excellent. The layout of the apartments was also ready to move in, they all have a kitchenette, there's no oven but there are a few cupboards and a sink. They were very clean and nice, and they'd put new carpet in, but it wasn't like plush carpets. I was impressed that all the staff was promoting the place saying how nice it was. They sent a driver to pick me up and take me there, and he also talked about how nice it was."

"My mother and my aunt are residents at Danbury. They both really enjoy living there. We moved them in over a year ago. They have no complaints about the food (and really look forward to some of their regular meals!), they love their nurses, and they feel comfortable in every way. We all receive quick and responsive attention to any concerns. Rachel was simply fantastic with our on boarding process, Leslie made us all feel secure in our difficult decision of providing care for our mothers, and Sandy is consistent and helpful to us in every manner. We, as family members, find the atmosphere within Danbury to be truly the best of any retirement community around! "
