"My brother is at The Village at St Edward for long-term care. Everything looks great. We are real happy to have him move in there. There are private and semi-private rooms, but because of the cost we selected a semi-private. They're providing physical therapy and meals for him. They have a dining room, a library, a lounge, and a courtyard. We have taken him outside to walk around."

"Wyant Woods is a little older facility. It doesn't look as nice as other facility we visited, but their staff is very good. They seem to care a lot about their patients. Everything seems to be going okay. Regarding accommodations, some of their rooms are shared and some of them are single but are average in size. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"My mom was at this facility and received very good care. She worked with great therapists to gain her strength back to get her back home. Windsong has new owners and is now a small family owned facility with very personalized care."

"My mom has been in Arbors at Fairlawn for two weeks now. It is pretty good. They're just coming back off of COVID, so they're getting a steady pace now. Other than that, they're very good. I just don't like their well water. They have well water out there. Other than that, it's fine. She got a nice big room. She puts on TV. You can put a loveseat in there and a recliner. You just pick it up how you would like your house. It's like a tiny apartment, but they just don't have a kitchen. They have a beauty shop for the ladies and men to go get a haircut, they have a movie theater, they have an activity room, or a visitation room. It's nice. When I call on the staff and talk to them, they get on it. My mother doesn't like the meals. I have to bring her something every day."

"Bath Manor Special Care Centre was where my mother-in-law stayed. It was our second choice facility but we had no problems so far. The place was carpeted and with beautiful furniture around. It smelled clean which was unusual for a nursing home. All the staff we met at different shifts were friendly and pleasant. "

"My aunt moved into Timberland Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. They are phenomenal, it's an amazing facility, and I couldn't be happier that we can find that for her. They are so kind, it's brand new, the new owner came and re-did the whole thing. Everybody has their own bedroom, and they share a bath. The directors and everybody have been phenomenal. My aunt is very picky and she likes the food. She is happy with everything, they'd make her a burger, they would sit and watch a movie with her, she was one of the first patients so they'd go grab fig newtons and sit and watch a movie at night."

"I chose Copley Health Center for my mom because it was the only place I could get her in where she got a private room, and also the cost was reasonable. The physical set-up was very nice, it was clean and modern. But the people who run the place were not very nice, I thought they were not very warm. Well, some of them were but not all of them. The food was not very good, it was mediocre. "

"Concordia at Sumner seemed to be very expensive, but it was nice. They toured me around the place, and I was very impressed with it. It's very close to where I live and housed in a beautiful facility that looks like a castle. The facilities were nicer than what I need, really. They showed me one-bedroom, and I only met a woman who toured me who very knowledgeable about everything and explained everything to me. "

"Lorantffy Care Center is a wonderful assisted living facility and I would recommend it to anyone looking to put loved ones into a new home. It is a very clean facility and the residents as well as staff are very friendly in manner and willing to help. The prices are extremely affordable and I can't tell you how many times my grandparents have mentioned how they love the facility. Four out of five stars, due to its location. "

"ManorCare is a skilled nursing facility, so they mostly take care of the medical needs more than a regular senior community. Most of the staff are nurses and nursing aides. They have three levels of care, and have access for family members on a regular basis. The grounds are neither aesthetically appealing nor unappealing. They just don't have a picnic area outside, but they have dining rooms and the food is okay."

"My mom stayed at the Rockynol Retirement Community for a while. The rooms were very nice and many of their aides were outstanding. She shared a room, but the side that she had was a nice view and it was pleasant. She was staying in the rehab part, it may be different from an actual apartment, but overall the ambience was as good as it can be. It had a wonderful PT department, the physical therapy was excellent. "

"The Merriman is a very clean, well maintained, and elegant facility with spacious rooms, common areas and lots of activities for residents. The staff is very attentive, kind, and helpful. I think the main house was originally a mansion of one of the rubber barons, but I am not sure.My friend, who is a resident, always reports that the meals are wonderful, though she thinks they always feed her too much.Activities include live music several times a week, visiting pets once a week, lots of games, crafts, art projects, puzzles, and more. They have a small library, and lots of windows overlooking the garden and grounds.Residents seem to be in good spirits, and have many small groups of friends who enjoy different activities ranging from sitting on the patio to playing cards or board games.Staff did everything imaginable to help ease my friend's transition to the facility, and have made it a positive change for her, even though she still thinks of herself as a very independent person. All in all, they have done a great job and have improved her standard of living enormously. "

"My mother is in Hickory Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation. They seem to be taking good care of her. She looks good, she likes it. It's a little outdated, it's probably 30 or 40 years old. This is her third or fourth month there. She hasn't complained about the food. She's in a private room, which was designed for two people, so she has a private room by herself, it's a big room. The bathroom is linked to another room, so that's not a good thing. The nurses are very friendly, and they do a lot of different things with them. I think they have games in the main room, play games or cards, and they have a schedule on the wall on each room, so she can go to it if she wants. They have a little screen TV. My mom is in the secure unit; it's not really nice."

"My mother-in-law is in Bath Creek Estates. It is very good and beautiful. The people are very caring, friendly, and attentive. The dining room is very nice. They do weekly field trips, bingo, church service every Sunday, and people who come in to entertain them on a fairly regular basis. They genuinely seem to care about the people they're working with."
