"Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville was clean and spacious. The apartment was clean, but it could be more spacious, and I don't like the layout as well. For our needs right now, it's the one we went with. The staff was very knowledgeable. It looked like the amenities and activities for the seniors were five. They have game areas, a movie theater area, an area where you can exercise, and a gathering area. They had a center courtyard where the residents could enjoy themselves without having to go outside. It was all enclosed, nobody can wander off and nobody could wander in. So, I did like that. They had a lot of different choices to pick from, and ample desserts. We didn't try the food. But I thought it had very good choices. If you go hungry, you're either super picky or that's your own fault."

"We toured Vitalia North Royalton. It was nice, clean, and bright. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They're good."

"The Rooms are very nice and clean. Cleaning staff does a good job for my father. The nurse are friendly and most of the STNA's say Hello when seeing you in the hallways. The meals are sometimes good and great. One of the current "chefs" make too many sandwiches and the chili several times were too hot for most of the residents to eat. Breakfast has gotten better most days. It used to be cold, and the homemade pancakes were not homemade. There is one person that covers when the "Chef" is out on her days off. This person makes homemade meals, and it is very appreciated. The activities are good, and the outings are a big hit for my father."

"My father was at Mount Alverna Village. When he was there, he did get excellent care. They were very attentive and very knowledgeable medical-wise. They took really good care of him. Well, my dad didn't participate in anything. The only thing my dad did was go to Mass every morning, so I don't really know what they provide. The food was very good. You could tell it was home-cooked, and it was really good food. The dining room was small, but I think they did that on purpose so people can socialize. It was clean, and it had a very nice homey atmosphere. "

"I toured Vitalia Active Adult Community North Olmsted. The staff was very nice, very accommodating, and very informative. I liked the food choices and the way that meals were set up, where they could do kinds of things on their own, but it would be much better for someone younger than my friend, being that she was 95 and couldn't really see a lot and can't get mobile herself, and she's kind of dependence on an attendant. The facility was very clean. It wasn't as social and kind of homey because they have availability to go around as they please, and my friend wasn't able to do that. They have that open room concept and she does not like that."

"Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow is a beautiful community with a very friendly staff. Everyone is very welcoming. There's a warm swimming pool, a fitness center, a bistro, a putting green outside, a Bocce ball court, a courtyard area, and a dog park. My dad's room is perfect. It's beautifully decorated, equipped very well for elderly people, and it's got a large walk-in closet."

"We toured Vitalia Rockside - Active Adult Community. We viewed everything. The directors toured us around. We saw the availalble apartments and things of that nature. Everything was very nice, and we enjoyed our visit with them. They have a lot of activities for male seniors. They have a men's group there to help men bond with other men because the population is usually more female to male when it comes to seniors, so they try to help out the men who live there as well."

"We're living here. The appearance is very nice, and the layout is very convenient. The food is good, my wife is playing Scrabble right now, and I have played bingo. The facility has nice surroundings, the staff is very accommodating, and is very nice and helpful."

"This is a beautiful facility both inside and outside. It provides a warm and exciting atmosphere for its residents. There are many opportunities for the residents to mingle, enjoy activities and take day trips. I was especially impressed with the variety of meals offered to the residents. The dinner menu included about six different entree options. The dinning room was bright and the staff seemed very friendly. The facility also offers cleaning services for the residents' rooms. There are opportunities for religious services at the facility. Additionally, the facility provides transportation to various churches in the area. The transportation schedule also includes regular trips to the local grocery stores and drug stores. The residents can opt to schedule transportation to necessary doctor or dentist appointments. I believe this is an excellent facility providing extensive services to their residents. I would be happy to have my family member living at Westlake Village. "

"My mom used to live in Mulberry Gardens; she lived there for 8 years. She absolutely loves Mulberry Gardens, but it’s great for someone who needs assistance but doesn’t need to be watched 24 hours a day. It’s not locked a facility; people come and go, and some still have their vehicles. They do day trips, the food is delicious, and she has a very nice apartment; it was a 1-bedroom with a living room and a little kitchenette. The staff was all very friendly and kind. I have really nothing negative to say other than the fact that she couldn’t stay when she is certainly having the memory issues, which made it bad. "

"Fairmont of Westlake was very nice. The woman who helped me with the tour treated me very kindly. She spent quite a bit of time with me before we went on the tour, just helping me kind of understand things. We ran into a few people in the hallway, and everybody was friendly as we passed them. The apartments were set up nicely. They looked comfortable, bright, and open. The bathroom had plenty of room to move around in. They had activities and she showed me a list of things that they do every day. They're just finishing up putting new carpet in the downstairs area, so it's going to look nice when they're done. They're continuously kind of working to improve their community."

"My wife has been at Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake for less than a week now. I like everything about it. The facility is gorgeous. The room is big. When I walked in, I got a very good vibe on the whole place. And then I brought my kids over there and they got the same feeling, so we felt this is the place for her. The staff members are wonderful. They're great people. They're good people. The place is spotless. There are activities all the time. Something is going on all the time. Full schedule every day. They have music, and they have games with the folks. They keep them very engaged. So far, so good."

"I'm a resident here, and it's very good. It has 72 residents, so it's not huge, and everyone knows everybody. They have bingo, movies, bowling, pool, and go to the casino, shopping, and restaurants. They have prayer service, Scrabble, board games, coffee hour, and monthly meetings with the residents to try to improve their activities. They have medical staff, who are pretty good and do their best to take care of our needs."
