"My father was at Willowood. The people there were very caring. The facility was a little dated, but the location was perfect for us because it was close to my mom. They were very nice. They even allowed us to hold a Christmas party there with 30 people from our family. I would recommend this facility. He went there for rehab. They had multiple levels of care there. The physical therapy there was good. "

"My friend was in Brunswick Pointe Transitional Care for rehab. I really liked it. I never had any complaints, ever. It was good there because the other place he had, he hated it so much. He actually called 911 to get out of it. The room was really nice. It's like a newer place. The nurses were nice. They were helpful. It's cozy. They got ice cream stores. Free ice cream for the family, that's cute. It was very clean."

"Avenue at Strongsville is pretty new. They're still in the process of trying to fill positions, but in the part that my mother's at, which is in memory care, they seemed to care about her and get to know them. They constantly call me with questions, like when she has concerns because of her memory, she tends to worry a lot. They'll call me to just check and make sure that everything's OK, just to make sure that she understands that everything is OK. It's a good place for her, but they still are short-staffed. They have a library, they have a hairdresser, and they do field trips."

"My mother spent 6 wonderful years at Shurmer Place and I have nothing but positive feedback regarding both their staff and what they provide for their residents. My mother was very happy there while my family and I were also at peace she was being looked after and accomdated to. My family is forever grateful! "

"The Life Care Center of Medina is a very nice assisted living facility. The staff there is always very friendly and willing to help out their residents and even the visiting family members. I have never felt uncomfortable while visiting my family there, nor have I ever felt like they were being mistreated. It's a very clean facility and they try to provide many activities for the residents to do together as well as with visiting family/friends. "

"I am a current resident at falling waters for rehab and wound treatments. Nursing staff and STNA are awesome, and they truly try to provide the best care but due to COVID and shortages of staff its a challenge for all. I absolutely loved both physical therapy and occupational therapy, the staff is truly compassionate and caring. Not only did therapy get me back to my baseline but they also provided emotional support through these trying times. The DON is caring and involved, with a hands on approach with staff and patients at the facility. I had two concerns with my stay here and the DON addressed both immediately. Activities is kind of lacking right now but that is due to COVID. Once a week Kathy comes around with an activity to do which my granddaughter loves to get my finished project. They also play bingo in the hallways of our rooms where everyone can keep a safe distance. The food is not so good here. By the time we get our tray its usually cold. I think it would go a lot more smoothly if dietary helped pass out trays and they already had the beverages on everyone tray instead of doing it separately. Most of the time items are also missing from the tray, as in condiments that go with the meal they are serving. They also don't offer an alternative meal if you don't like what they are serving, unless you have an allergy to the food. Housekeeping is okay. Angela is a wonderful housekeeper but when she is off we seldom get our rooms cleaned, except for garbage being emptied from our rooms. The rooms are spacious enough. The activity room is also very spacious with a TV area, computer for residents use, and comfortable seating. I would recommend this facility. "

"I was in Medina Meadows Rehab and Nursing Centre. They were very nice. The security was very good. The food was fine. They did the best they can. They have a budget. Sometimes you get stuff that doesn’t really look edible. Towards the end of the month when their funding was low, they have to make do with what’s on hand. They have a lot of inventive things. They have bingo and bowling. "

"I wouldn’t let my dog stay at Samaritan Care Center. The staff was delightful and so nice, but the place smelled like a wet basement that had mold. It smelled so bad in there. The place needs a dehumidier. The layout was nice."

"Dad went to Avenue of Medina and they were the best from all the nursing homes he's been to. They have good staff and provided good care. It's a nice place and the rooms were nice as well. It had a good room setup with lots of space. It's very convenient for us. "

"I am in the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina. This building has independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care; they got it all. I am in the independent living, and my wife is in the memory care unit. Before that, we were both in assisted living for almost three years. But she got to be too much for me. They have a monthly schedule that comes out, and there is something going on all the time. If anybody wants to do something, they can find anything they want to do. They have a lot of outings, tours, going to special places to eat meals, to shows, and to performances. They bring in groups regularly. They have their own fitness room with a full time fitness director. They have their own therapy rooms. It’s a good place. "

"Excellent new Director and Head Nurse and Assistant Nurse. They have made some excellent changes. The care for my mother and understanding has been excellent. I would recommend this facility. As long as you take time to care for your loved ones and understand their needs, the nurses can do the same. You must be involved too. They are all thoughtful, kind and compassionate. Every thought is given to maintaining choice in all aspects of care and in promoting self worth. The relationships with the family and all other people involved in day to day life have been great. Thank you Pavilion employees. You are doing great in giving Pavilion a better name because of better care and better employees."

"I was at this facility for a short term rehab stay after my knee replacement. I have nothing to say but thank you, thank you, thank you. I was able to return home within 2 weeks. I can walk again, the nurses and assistants were caring and accomodating, and therapy- all though they pushed me- I was able to return home quicker. Although,my laundry was a little slow to return to my room, I did get it back- the administrative staff were open to listening if I had a problem and they were quick to resolve any problem I may have had, and if I ever need a short term stay again- I won't choose any other place. "

"I found a place for my mother, and we like it very much. It is called Villa Camillus, and she is in their memory care. I checked around a bunch of them, and this was the best one I found. I like the looks of it -- it doesn't look like a nursing home. It is very homey, the care is very good, and they still have their dignity and are able to get up and walk around if they like in a controlled area, a safe environment. The food is good, and they have a lot of activities. It is just very nice. They have a person that comes in and does sing-along things, and they have where you can come as a family and reserve an area to be alone with your family in a living room setting. It is just very nice, and I like it very much. I would like them to do a little more toileting with her sometimes, but they have gotten better with that because she can be continent and can be incontinent. Other than that, everything is great. "
