"My grandfather moved in. They've been amazing, they were super helpful getting him moved in, and they had lots of people to give us a hand getting all his stuff in there. They made it very easy and very welcoming for him. The staff has been super great, they've checked in with us since he's been there, and they were really helpful getting the rate set up for him. They've been great. They've been awesome. He said the food is awesome, he really enjoys the macaroni salad, and he really likes the apple pie."

"I'm a resident here, and it's very good. It has 72 residents, so it's not huge, and everyone knows everybody. They have bingo, movies, bowling, pool, and go to the casino, shopping, and restaurants. They have prayer service, Scrabble, board games, coffee hour, and monthly meetings with the residents to try to improve their activities. They have medical staff, who are pretty good and do their best to take care of our needs."

"The young lady that showed us around did a wonderful job. Kim was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I was very impressed with her. She made us feel like it would be a good place for my dad to live. We were very impressed with the facility as well. It just seemed like a very caring, comfortable, and warm place. It wasn't too large and it was cozy. The residents there looked happy and everybody was very friendly."

"The overall residence of Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake was very clean, it's attractive and beautiful. Also, they have three different levels of care within one facility, from independent, assisted living, to memory care, and sort of a higher level of skilled nursing. That's attractive because I would not have to move my parents to a different facility when their needs perhaps grow. They can easily stay in that one place and just change from like one floor, but at least they're still there together. And the goal was, to keep them together. My mom would be in assisted living, but my dad would need to go to memory care. The staff, Rachel, was excellent in answering all the different questions that I have about the different levels of care and going through all the different services that they provide, as well as detailed budget pricing. So that we would know what the investment of this level of care for my parents would be. It was not rushed. It was very attentive, and she wanted to make sure that I knew of all the different types of care that this institution would provide for my parents. What I find highly attractive is the restaurant, how they provide meals, is from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. You could order your food at any time, compared to other facilities that were like dinner's at 4:30 or 5:30 pm, breakfast is from 8:00 to 9:00 am. So having the flexibility works easier for my parents' lifestyle."

"I stayed a year ago for two months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had three meals a day in a shared dining room. The food was excellent. My only complaint was that their servings were too large. The rooms were very large. The resident rooms and the common spaces were kept very clean. They had shared common rooms like we had Wii bowling in a TV room, they had bingo in a community room, and they had happy hour on Fridays in the front lobby. I got a lot of value out of it."

"I come to visit an old friend and I always have a great experience. Its a warm, yet, sophisticated atmosphere. There's livingrooms for different types of dementia stages. The staff there are really kind and there managers seem to have extensive knowledge on Alzheimer's. I think the daughter goes to a support group there too. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs dementia care. "

"Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Royalton was clean and welcoming. It had a lot of activities. The food was excellent. It also had a heated pool and transportation. It was probably the second option for my grandmother, but it was a very nice place. The staff members were great."

"This is the place you're looking for. The people are incredible. The grounds and rooms are incredible. I know, we looked for a long time for the right place for Mom. As is the case change was hard for her. But the good people at Danbury did everything they could to make her feel at home. And now with everything she gets to do. And all the friends she's already made. She said she is the happiest she's been in her entire life. That made my Sister and I feel on top of the world. We knew we picked the right place. And they keep showing it every day. So, this is the place you're looking for."

"My mother will be moving into Brooklyn Pointe. We had a very positive experience. It's a newer building. It's 3 years old. Everything was modern and clean, and there were no smells or anything as we toured. The apartments were all very nice and spacious. We're looking at a studio apartment that was more spacious than some of the other studios that we have seen. They have a lot of activities. Their dining room was nice. It's restaurant-style where you sit down and order off a menu. They have different levels of care. They have a memory care area, which we did not see, but they have that there should we need to move mom into that area."

"Mt. Alverna serves as both a temporary/permanent assisted living residence as well as a nursing home. They had beautiful spacious rooms with a bathroom in each. They had an outdoor garden where residents were able to enjoy in warmer weather. My grandmother was placed under the care of the employees of Mt. Alverna and I must commend them for the treatment of her during the duration of her stay there. My grandmother initially resided at Mt. Alverna for rehabilitation purposes. Their rehab center had all the necessary equipment to ensure her healing. The staff was phenomenal in terms of caring for their residents. The staff made sure the environment was clean/sanitary, welcoming and safe for all visitors and residents. They took time out of their day to sit with my grandmother and make sure she had all of the things she needed to feel comfortable. My grandmother ended up passing away peacefully while at Mt. Alverna. Upon her passing, you could tell that the connections between staff and residents was genuine. The staff were extremely emotional with the passing of my grandmother and all of them attended her service in Mt. Alverna's chapel. I have no complaints about Mt. Alverna. I am so thankful for the beautiful individuals who gave my grandmother everything she needed before passing on. "
