"Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of experience with home care services, and fortunately we are able to afford to have care in the home versus moving to a nursing facility. All the people are very nice and try to accommodate as best as possible to our requests. I feel the most concerning issue seems to be the limited amount of caregiver pool there is to choose from. I don't know if they have a hard time finding people to work in this field or if the type of person we are requesting is rare. On a positive note, however, they have always had someone to fill the openings, so that has been very much appreciated. Overall the caregivers are competent and compassionate, which is what is expected when trusting someone with your loved one. "

"I'm using Home Instead Senior Care and the provider's name is Alicia. It's been about two years and it's one day a week for three hours. The agency itself is very good. They work with me very well. If I need schedule adjustments or if they have schedule adjustments, they always communicate with me and let me know. They match me up very good with the caregiver. I've had two permanent caregivers so far and both were good. One I think is no longer with the company, but the one I have now is awesome. I get housekeeping. I get help with vacuuming my floors, cleaning my bathrooms, making my bed and things like that. No personal care. I think it's a very good company."

The owner, his name was Dan, if he couldn't get an aide, or an emergency happened, Dan actually drove out and stayed with my grandpa, and I thought that was nice. They helped him with his showers, they did meal prep for him, and kept the house clean and up to date. They said they would do anything we needed. They sent us an invoice, which was nice. "I recently used Four Seasons Home Care services for about a 3-month period. Navigating my husband from a skilled nursing facility to home care and then from a hospital back to home care with hospice, in both cases required extensive communications, paperwork and coordination. Hedi made my life much easier in both cases as she knew exactly what was required and followed up on details so nothing "fell through the cracks". The girls that she sent to the house were well trained and the ones that attended my husband most frequently were patient, understanding and kept their sense of humour which was necessary as my husband was not an easy patient due to the impact of strokes. In one case, the caregiver alerted me to call the doctor and suggested 911 which turned out to be the right call. She stayed with me throughout this dire moment even though it was past her timeframe to leave. When I had any questions, concerns or scheduling issues, Hedi was always available and addressed the situation efficiently. I highly recommend this company."
