The staff from Rockport Retirement Community appeared to be extremely helpful. The room was clean. There was a bathroom and a kitchen area with a sink and a refrigerator. They had a dining area where they served food if the residents chose to eat what the facility was serving. The staff who toured us was polite and helpful.

I took my friend over at Rockport Senior Living, but she was stubborn. She said it was too small, but it seemed fine to me. They had a dining room and a small room with the TV. She'd be pretty well set there. She just didn't think it was big enough. It's a nice facility. The people there were friendly. It was a good place. They had elevators and nurses on duty. It would be a nice place for her.

We visited Rockport assisted living and I'm not impressed at all. They need a whole revamping, it all needs to be redone, it's not great. Everything was really, really old, even the elevator. It was musty there too. The person that gave me the tour was very informative, very helpful, and very nice. I have nothing bad to say about her. She was very friendly and as far as I'm concerned; she did a great job. It's not her fault that the place looks that way. The person that checks you in is the one that was giving you the tour. To me, it gave the impression of being short-staffed. I didn't observe any activities but I saw some people giving complaints. The rooms are a nice size. If they were updated, they were really probably going to be great, but I couldn't see putting my mother in there right now. I would give it a one, not the tour but the place itself. The person giving the tour was fine, the place was not. They need new carpeting, fresh paint, and to get rid of the smell. I'm not talking about the physical smell, but it is like a damp smell. The building needs maintenance, period. I would think maintenance would cover everything.

The staff I met at Rockport Retirement Community all seemed very kind, and the place seemed nice enough, but the facility was kind of run down. It's a converted hotel, so the hallways are long, which is hard for seniors with mobility issues. The staff were very pleasant, although we had some trouble coordinating through phone calls. It's in a suburban area, so it's close to shopping and medical care, and it's conveniently located close to our home.

My sister has been installed here. Her son thought this was best for her, and she's been there for a week now. The facility seemed all good to me. As soon as she got there, she was talking with people and enjoying it. We had meals and food is very good. My sister said if she is not careful, she is going to get fat. They have single, double, and suite rooms with furniture. It’s more than one story, and they have elevators. As we were walking around, we bumped into several people. It’s open and very nice.

It was close to my sister. It was clean. Everybody seemed nice and friendly. The person showed us everything even when we didn't have an appointment and talked to us for a while. It was great.

We thought it was a fitting place for our brother. My brother was not interested in a spacious room. He wanted a studio. We were delighted with what we have seen so far.
