"I moved into the Bickford of Rocky River two weeks ago. I like the fact that the staff responds right away, and they're very friendly. I don't have anything bad to say about it. It has a lot of curb appeal. It's super clean. They have excellent food. The dining room is very nice. There is an exercise class. There's neighborhood walking, board games, puzzle time, bingo, and crafts. I'm satisfied at the moment."

"We rent one of the Villa residences. Our home is beautifully laid out and furnished with excellent quality appliances. The community of neighbors are warm, welcoming and delightful company. The Danbury staff are available and responsive to any need. Salon services and entertaining activities add to the feeling of community! The compound is wonderfully designed and many of us enjoy walking and riding our bikes around the pond and neighborhood. We feel blessed to be here."

"My mom is currently in Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville. It has been good. The first day that we were there when we dropped her off, I had to wait a little while, but with Covid and everything, I sort of understand that. I think it's going to be a good fit for her. They're very clean and very pleasant. It has taken us a while to get all the furniture in because I had to order a new chair for her, but they have been very helpful. My mom was involved in some activities the first day, but it is hard to know what's going on now. Yesterday, she wasn't just feeling her best, so I think she spent more time in her room. I think this is going to be a good place for her. It's a nice new facility. The people that I had worked with had been very pleasant. However, in a way, I feel I need to be with them a little longer before I can get a true picture. We haven't had that many experiences. Also, it's so hard to talk to my mom because the place that she was previously at hasn't returned her phone yet. I have to try and talk to her through the window, so it's just really frustrating. My mom has just gotten there, so she hasn't had the chance to do too many activities. They have a spa where they would take them and wash their hair, and she is definitely interested in that. Her room has a high ceiling and neutral paint. I thought it looked really pretty."

"We toured Brooklyn Pointe Assisted Living. It was great. Everything was perfect for what they offered. I was impressed with the place. It was clean. It was inviting. The rooms were very nice. The staff was great, too. They were very helpful and very informative. The dining area was very nice. They have a regular calendar of activities."

"My parents moved to Vista Springs Greenbriar Village. We liked the memory care when we went in to see it. It's close to where they live now, so the location is very good. They don't use an agency, so we like that too. The people are very friendly. The rooms are larger. The facility is very nice, beautiful, comfortable, inviting, clean and new. The activities have been good and my mom's enjoying the activities. They're expensive and all the other places are, but we liked the fact that it's all-inclusive."

"Vitalia North Royalton has everything you could possibly need. They have apartments and they have everything in there. It's not a huge kitchen, but yet a kitchen. Their menu is almost like a restaurant menu. If there's something on there that I know I can eat or whatever, that's no problem. I can or don't have to. Everybody was very friendly, the people that actually live there and the gentleman that took me on the tour. I was very impressed. The rooms seemed very pleasant. I got to meet some of the women that were there, and they're going to have bingo. It was really a nice place. It would be second on my list, except for the entry fee and what it costs per month. Compared to everything that you get there, if you had the money, that will be no problem, but I will never have that kind of money. It looked like the residents were very comfortable and very happy."

"We toured Cardinal Court Alzheimer's Special Care Center, but it's too far out for us to drive to, so we didn't go with that one. It was very nice, comfortable, and the memory care was handled very well. The pricing is a little bit outside our budget. They had a lot of nice outdoor facilities, they had a nice patio, and it looked real comfortable. The memory care has monitors, like motion detectors or something like that. Everything looked pretty good. They also have a nice program for activities and things like that for the residents. The staff we had no problems with, they were really friendly, and everybody came by. We saw the menu, and it looked like they have a wide range of food. It's served restaurant style so you can pick from a number of things."

"I cannot express enough how the creators of this brand new family run operation have gotten everything right at Evergreen Gardens. Having visited a dear family friend there multiple times now, I have say this incredible center checks all the boxes beginning with the all-important 5-1 caregiver to resident ratio — which is very important to me. I have also found the in-house, homemade and prepared food to be vastly superior to any facility I’ve ever visited or experienced. The individualized care that Evergreen Gardens delivers is clearly their calling card and what sets them apart. Each and every staffer is an experienced, pleasant, kind-hearted professional who obviously has a sincere dedication and devoted commitment to the individual residents. And the rooms are uniquely and individually designed, very spacious and beautifully appointed. This is truly a wonderful place and the amazing, caring people who created it obviously have a heart for compassionate, dedicated service to our loved ones. I certainly feel the love and sense of family there. I also clearly see and feel all the comforts of home as well as all the safety features and the personable caring/capable staffers. "The assisted living facility that I found for my client is called Mount Alverna Village. It is run by the Franciscan Sisters from Chicago. My client is a former Franciscan priest. The place is very relaxed and comfortable. I think the staff is very helpful and very interested in trying to do whatever they can do to make my client’s stay there as pleasant as possible. He seems to be thriving there. The room is physically adequate. The dining area is not terribly large, but it doesn’t need to be. It is sufficient for those that would be in the room at any one time. They have various activities, too. "
