"The nursing home of Brookdale Westlake Village was excellent. The staff was very good, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. They had a lot of activities. I highly recommend them. The place was big, and the layout was in sections. It was continuing care, so they had three different buildings all connected together. The skilled nursing's dining room was pretty basic, the assisted living's dining room was bigger, and independent living's dining was even bigger. They had a church there, which my mom liked. It was a very good place. "

"I was able to tour Rose Senior Living - Avon. The apartment was very nice. Carol, the administrator, was very nice. Everything seemed very clean, and the residents seemed happy. They had transportation. The continental breakfast was included daily, and they had a lot of activities like gardening. They had a beauty parlor there. And then they had nice outdoor sitting areas and nice walking trails. It was a nice facility. The staff was very nice and very informative."

"I highly recommend Independence Village as an elder care facility. Not only are the grounds and the building lovely, but the true gem is the caring Staff. They truly care for the residents as well as their caregivers and that attitude is apparent in each interaction. My husband has been in both the Assisted Living and the Memory Care unit and we have been welcomed and supported from day one in each. There is always someone available to help, or maybe, just to listen and understand. They have striven to fulfill each request and no question has gone unanswered. As soon as I walked into the lobby of Independece Village, I was impressed by the ongoing activities being offered in the facility and the coming and going of the busses as they transported the residents off site. Everyone seemed engaged and happy. There is a welcoming Receptionist on duty to direct and help manage in an efficient manner. Calls for help or attention from residents are routed through the Receptionist using a radio system that helps to dispatch the Staff where they are needed. When I leave my husband, I am greatly comforted knowing that he is being looked after by these dedicated professionals."

"We chose Brooklyn Pointe for mom. I liked the cleanliness, the personable experienced staff, and qualified staff. The staff who gave us the tour had a positive attitude and clean hygiene and was professional. The rooms were clean, modern, up-to-date, and new. The dining area was clean and open space and had a friendly atmosphere."

"I stayed a year ago for two months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had three meals a day in a shared dining room. The food was excellent. My only complaint was that their servings were too large. The rooms were very large. The resident rooms and the common spaces were kept very clean. They had shared common rooms like we had Wii bowling in a TV room, they had bingo in a community room, and they had happy hour on Fridays in the front lobby. I got a lot of value out of it."

It took some time for dad to get adjusted however once he made friends and got involved in the many activities he became content everyone is so nice to my dad , the care from the nurses , front desk , housekeeping dining room and chef Amy . It’s amazing the work it takes to care for the residents at Danbury! It is very much appreciated by my dad and myself , Thank you a very much ! "We have been staying at Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Royalton for nine months. We have games. They have an outdoor walking club here. They have somebody leading a gentle exercise. We go to lunch and dinner every day in the big dining room, which is quite nice. It is a very beautiful facility. The facility is new. All the staff are very nice. I would not have anything negative to say about them. The servers in the dining room are wonderful. They get to know everybody's name, and that's a good thing. I'd say the only problem here, which I'm sure is just about everywhere you go, is that sometimes there just isn't quite enough staff. Sometimes serving in the dining room is slow because there are only a couple of people available to help with it. There is a good variety of activities available. I was a little disappointed that I'd already received an increase before my full year was up."

"My Grandmother lived at Mt. Alverna for nearly 7 years. Dedicated staff, beautiful & clean atmosphere. Excellent interactive programs & entertainment for the patients. She maintained her dignity there during her final years of life. "

"I liked Vitalia Senior Residences at Strongsville. My tour experience was very good. They had a lot to offer. I liked the way their dining room was set up. The rooms were pretty. They're spacious and secure to keep an eye on my mom when she's there. It is unique as far as having a heat sensor to check on her."

"My parents have been residents in the independent living at the Rockside community for 7 months. Is it perfect? No. But they are attentive to concerns and make an effort to rectify any problems. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are a fair number of activities. They try to have events for special days. My parents frequently talk about the beautiful valentines day dinner and the eclipse party. There was a women’s tea for Christmas that my mom thoroughly enjoyed. My mom moved from their home reluctantly. Yesterday she told me she doesn’t miss her house anymore and that she loves her new home at Vitalia. That speaks volumes!"

"My father moved into Vista Springs Ravinia Estate 3 weeks ago. I like that it's a smaller community, and I don't have anything negative to say about it. The staff is very good and very helpful, so far, from what I can see. He's got a 1-bedroom apartment. It is very nice, modern, kept up, and very clean. The living atmosphere is positive and friendly. It's very easy to get around because it's not that big. The food is not bad. I would say it's above average. The servers are very good to the residents. Everything in the dining room is clean and spread out, and they wait on you right away. They do music and they play cards, and they have current events and things like that."
