My mother-in-law was at Aurora Manor Special Care Center. We did not have any complaints. She was cared for well. The nursing staff was attentive. As she was passing, there wasn't a restriction on the number of people that could be in there with her. She did not have a roommate. They seemed to be very supportive and understanding of family. If we had an issue as far as needing to change the bed quick, that kind of stuff, they were on point regarding that. They had a common meal area, but for those that needed to be in their own room, the meals were brought to them. They had activities because walking through at different times, they would make an announcement whether it was a music thing that was happening. It was apparent that they were able to engage those that were at the facility if they chose. Sometimes, they didn't have enough staff but we didn't have any specific issues in getting someone if we needed someone. There seemed to be a healthy and varied diet and they seemed to be very cognizant of the patient.
