I toured Singleton Health Care Center. It was a very positive experience. There were activities happening all over the place, and it was busy. People were engaged in a lot of different things. Instead of eating alone in separate rooms, they were gathered together in the lunchroom, laughing, talking, and seeming happy. The staff was very nice and patient. The rooms were average, and they had both private and shared rooms.

The people who run Singleton Care Inc. take care of the residents while allowing them to still have their own independence. The facility is a very large home which makes you feel more comfortable. They also provide a lot of activities for the residents so that they stay busy. They also have a large yard in which residents can relax outside. They make sure that the residents have everything they need and that they get proper medical attention and keep their appointments. The facility appears to be very clean, and the staff is very friendly. It is run by a father daughter team and has a limited amount of residents. There are two residents per room. There is also a furnished basement for the residents to relax in. In talking with one of the residents, she was very happy with staying there and enjoyed the food and the staff very much.
