I had lunch at Deer Creek Lodge and it was OK. The facility was very nice. The people and the staff were really friendly. The rooms were a very nice size compared to other rooms that I've seen. It was very clean.

We offer full course restaurant-style dinner as well as a complimentary breakfast daily. Our Kosher food is delicious and made to order.. Housekeeping services are included every other week. 24/7 nursing care is provided. Basic cable, Wi-Fi, and electric included in monthly rent. The rooms are dated and in not great condition. The images are of the new building which is more expensive. They claim to be working on it but they aren't. My dad spent a year here, losing a lot of money, a lot of weight, and only gaining in health problems. He only left in August 2025 They said a no cholesterol diet would not be an issue- it was a huge issue. He never ate the food and for a year only ate what he could get delivered from amazon. But everyone else got chicken, steak, or fish every night. Weekends, no hot food is served in the am. The trash piles up, the laundry detergent was empty for months and machines broke down. The hired nurses or other staff smoke and leave trash and cigarette butts everywhere away from thr main walkways. The staff lied to my dad so much. He ask many times for the mold in the ceiling to get addressed, the food grinder disposal to be fixed, the wobbly toilet, and a dead power outlet. He was ignored repeatedly until I went to help him. He has used an extension cord for the faulty power outlet- then fell and had a horrible accident. The worst was he had a mini stroke and didn't get medical attention until 35 hours later because the staff was more interested in reprimanding his bad behavior. Then he moved out on the 10th and they promised to refund us some money and never did. Please don't even consider this facility for your loved ones. The food is terrible, the ownership is so unethical. It was a year of lies and hardship at great expense until I could get back there and move him out.
