"The team that works at the Eliza Jennings home is extremely friendly. When my family would arrive for a visit, not only did the aides give us full details about my grandmother, but they also asked questions about how we all were doing with work and school. It was a great facility, and when needs arose for a private room or a joint room they were very willing and able to show new possible locations and discuss behaviors of the roommates and residents in the area to see if it would suit the needs that my family had. Some residences only let you bring in small furniture or pictures only, but with Eliza Jennings we were able to bring in an entertainment unit as well as chairs and larger decorations to make it feel more like home. The only complaints that my grandmother ever had about staying there was that the food was not great. She said it was hospital food, but she always loved dessert! We hid the fact that she was on a low- sodium diet and they had to adjust her menu choices accordingly! "

"Mom was in Broadview Mutli-care for just over one year. Everyone there was wonderful, and took a personal interest in Mom. She seemed very happy there. Visits were encouraged, dad was welcome to see her everyday which he did. I am so glad that we chose Broadview multi care, we had a much different experience at another facilty. "

"We used Sarah Care for my aunt. They do games, music, they go on outings, and they do crafts. They have exercise classes and memory games. She usually has her lunch there -- she goes 3 times a week -- and they provide transportation. The have a light breakfast and a full lunch, which is usually a hot meal. They have holiday parties, like on the 4th of July. The staff is very attentive, they personalize the care for her, and they're very kind. She loves the activities."

"We are doing adult day care for my husband at CYO Adult Day Services. It is a big help to me. They have all kinds of things, and that's what I like about it. They have some type of arts and crafts. They usually have speakers come in, and the ones that are able sometimes do day trips. I like that it is clean, and it doesn't smell. They provide very nutritious meals. They try to do a little exercise with the patients, but it's hard for a lot of them to do something. If the client wants it, they make communion available every day. My husband never said anything negative, but he doesn't realize that where he is going or what he is going there for. It's getting him out of the house with other people. Otherwise it is me all day. It is good for both of us. "

"My dad passed away in April, and my mom is presently going to Gilcrest Day Care twice a week. We are trying to get her to transition slowly, but she is enjoying this Day Care, and it is working out right now. She enjoys getting in the pool; they have the pool exercise classes, she gets in the pool twice a week, and it helps with her arthritis. She is very social, so she enjoys just meeting and talking to different people. She says they are all very caring, very nice, and helpful. It is very clean, and it is a very casual setting. "
