"I have gone through five or six home assistance aides since I have had America's Health Care, I have two Service dogs for mobility and balance, and ALL, except one, was terrified of them, asking me to please either leave them outside or lock them up or make them stay in my room while they tried to do some semblance of cleaning. along with a few being afraid of my cats that I have rescued. I have had one male attendant state he can't do women's' work, one who brought her children to my home twice, once leaving them in her car to sleep and constantly going out to check on them, which I did not mind at first but she told me that she would have to bring her son with her because he was autistic & could not find a sitter for him, one whom I could not understand because her English was not very good. Most of them did not know how to do their job, I've had a few ask me, after seeing my carpet scrubber and vacuum cleaner, which was which. There was ONLY one, who knew her job and how to do it, she organized my daily life like a pro, they called me up one recent morning and told me they let her go for reasons I am not privy to knowing. I understand that people need to work, and almost all the Aides they sent were Immigrants from other countries that did not know how to do their jobs, I have had a few minor possessions come up missing but that was no big deal, not worth having someone lose their job over, but I told the agency that I needed consistency, not a different person every week or so. I'm sure that short term people that need help, get it and its great for them, but I am progressively disabled, I will NOT get better, so my needs are a bit different. That's why I rated them as such. "
