"I would like to share my experiences with this location. My dad entered on 8/21/22. I am not an employee. My dad lived with me since 2005. In 2021 his care far exceeded what we were able to provide with home aids and ourselves. Plus, my home was not wheelchair accessible and this meant that my dad was now isolated from the outside world. I began to look for a better situation and Paramount was my first stop as it is the the closest to my home. I have been nothing but impressed with the level of care and communication I receive regarding my dad. I cannot comment on other posts that state that their loved one is in a cramped room because my dad has what is called a "studio" so it is his alone. Whenever I have had an issue or a concern it has been immediately dealt with (and my concerns have been about my dad - not the staff). From Angel at the front desk to Lori his nurse to all the aids that assist him all the way to Angie the director - I have been extremely pleased. My dad now has people he interacts with all day, meals prepared 3 times a day, all the snacks he could want, hygiene care (they have their own "beauty parlor" and physical therapy in their gym. The facility did recently take in many other patients from another facility that was closing but I think that this has made things more lively as there were only a few residents when my dad entered. This is on the more expensive side of the facilities that I looked at but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for - we do not get any assistance to cover costs. I appreciate that each case is different and you need to evaluate what the right level of care is for your loved one. I am happy with the one on one help that my dad has and all of the staff that attend to them. I am there every week, sometimes multiple times, and I have never witnessed anything that would make me concerned."

"We toured the assisted living section, and it was excellent. The community is very welcoming. The person who gave the tour was very thorough and very good at what she does. She gave a very warm feeling about the place. The room was very good, and the bathroom was very large. The activities were excellent. They have a wide variety, and they were very appealing."

"StoryPoint Gahanna had assisted living and memory care, so we looked at both sides. The staff was friendly. They offered a lot of arts and crafts. There are a lot things for the older clientele. I liked the fact that the rooms were clean. I liked that they had the washer and dryer and the refrigerator inside of it, and just the fact that they could eat out on the patio, and then they have live music and live bands at dinnertime. It was really, really nice. I really would like to put my mom there. I'm just working on money issues."

"I moved into Rittenhouse Village Gahanna. It's been a nice experience. It's been good. Everything's been nice. Everybody is very helpful. The food is also good. I get three meals a day, and unless I have something scheduled, I go down for a meal. The facilities are good, and the trash pickup is good. I have no complaints. It's very nice, bright, with nice windows. They're open, and it's cheery. I have a balcony, which is nice. The selling point was the balcony because I moved from the country to here and needed to get somewhere I could have a little personal space. They have a lot of activities going on now. I haven't partaken of any of them yet because I'm busy getting things straightened up. So, I haven't gone to any of their functions, but there are a lot of them. There's something to do if you want to do it. It's there. The staff is fantastic, very helpful, and friendly. I like that because I feel like they're working, and we also need to be pleasant and thank them for what they're doing. One of the reasons I picked it was that it was within my budget."

"We moved my mother here when her current assisted living facility could no longer provide for her. My father picked this place with zero knowledge, he just chose it based on proximity and price. I can't explain how fortunate we were that he did. The people could not have been more kind and caring. They took such good care of her and made her last days as comfortable as possible. They also made sure that my father was taken care of, even offering counseling services. The people working there are true angels, and no words will do them justice. From the bottom of our hearts, my family and I thank all of you."

"The Forum at Knightsbridge seems friendly. It seems to have the services I'm looking for. The rooms were nice. Some of them, I think, even have balconies. I would give it a 5 rating just because of the nice attitude that I got when I was there. They were friendly. I like the staff there. The rooms are pretty much the same as everybody else's. I'm looking for a one-bedroom. One is 624 square feet, and the other is 585 square feet. I love my condo, and I don't want to leave, but my family thinks otherwise. I guess the rooms at The Forum is going to be spacious. It's going to be a transition, of course, but I guess I'm ready for it."

"I have moved into Brookdale Trillium Crossing. They are very friendly, their food is excellent, and they have a lot of amenities. They have just about everything, an indoor pool, happy hour every Friday afternoon, movies in the evenings, all kinds of entertainment and things to do. I haven't participated, but I'm just getting used to it. The food is excellent. It's a very friendly place, and I think I'll be happy here. It just has almost everything you could ask for. The facility is lovely. They offer everything I would be interested in. They have a pool, library, sewing, painting, they have everything you could ask for. I'm looking forward to swimming and doing some day activities. In terms of value for money, you couldn't ask for better. So far, I'm very pleased with being in this situation. I am not happy about being in a retirement home and leaving my home, but this is about the best you could ask for."

"I toured Kensington Place Retirement Community. I like the apartments. The assisted living and the memory care apartments were the same size as the independent living. They had a nice layout for community areas and a nice outside area where people could sit. It's very nice. The staff members were all friendly and they related well to the residents. The facility was very well made."

"StoryPoint Powell South is a lovely senior community with a wonderful staff. My Dad has lived here for 5 years. He loves his apartment and the fact that he can remain mostly independent at 94 years old. I like the fact that he is not alone (unless he wants to be!) and can get assistance if needed. He has made many wonderful friends here. If anything, his only caveat is the food, sometimes he really enjoys it. Other days not so much, but I imagine it’s very difficult to make a menu that pleases everyone all of the time. Overall, we are very pleased with StoryPoint Powell South!"

"The Coventry Senior Living was a very new facility. So, it was in good shape and it was beautiful inside. They had a huge library space when you walk in. The lobby was nice, too. The person who took me on the tour was very thorough and very friendly. I felt like they answered all my questions. It was a place where I felt like I could put my parents and feel good about it."

"I was very impressed with The Ashford on Broad. I was welcomed well, and the person who showed me through was very kind and answered all my questions. The place looked lovely. I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"From the personnel standpoint, the staff from Harrison on 5th by Senior Star did a very nice job working with us and showing us the units and the entire community. And we like the size of the two-bedroom apartment that we're getting. The amenities available are assisted living capabilities, medication management, nursing care, meals, and all kinds of activities."

"We visited Cherry Blossom and I wish now we would have taken that step with them instead of the one we took with my sister's current facility, because Cherry Blossom is a one-story building. We could have possibly looked through the window at her and said hello. My sister thinks we just left her because we can't visit her in her current facility. They showed us rooms when we visited. The rooms were great. The whole complex was just as good as I thought in another facility, and I expected a little bit better I think. We looked at the assisted living because my sister is well enough that she doesn't have to go into memory care. That's what everybody thinks, that she's well enough not to go to memory care, so that's why she didn't actually go in there. We've seen the rooms. They were very nice. We've also seen the dining room, the bistro, the exercise room, and the salon."
