"My mother is now at The Forum at Knightsbridge. It has been fine so far. The people seem friendly and take care of my mom. My mother has a studio apartment, which is plenty large enough for the few things she has with her. She gets three square meals a day. Yesterday, they had a USO show, which was great. She has been playing a lot of jigsaw puzzles. So far, it has been working out. They have a small library. She does physical therapy, so she is keeping in shape. They are making sure she gets her dinner and that she goes for her meals. They have given her medicines daily, too. There is a doctor who sees her once a week. Everything is good."

"Cara and her team have been exceptionally attentive and caring. My mom is healthy and happy. My family is treated, like family. Both Mom and the rest of us that come to visit. The front desk staff is always willing to take calls and answer question. The nursing staff is top shelf. And last, the food is well thought out and yummy. Further mom’s room is comfy, kept clean and everything works - all the time. Thank you all! "

"My dad moved to Harrison on 5th by Senior Star. The staff was very hands-on and caring. It's a great place. The food is very delicious. This community has only been here for a year, it's a very nice community. They have an activities director. She's very hands-on. She always has a little project and things for them to do. They have a movie theater but as far as memory care, they do arts and crafts. They have different stations set up depending on where the residents may be at that time. They could be resorting back to childhood, and so there's a little area for things like baby dolls. They have garden sections. They have a grocery store section. They have a pool section. They do a lot to keep them active. They have a very nice outdoor space."

"My father-in-law has moved in and so far, so good. We're dealing with normal challenges that we would deal with anywhere, making sure that the cleaning of the facility is done every week and making sure that they communicate medicine updates to us. He's happy, and his apartment is beautiful. The facility is almost new. I like the food, but he sometimes says it's a bit bland. They provide activities, and they've had some newer staff members who joined the facility."

She gave a very warm feeling about the place. The room was very good, and the bathroom was very large. The activities were excellent. They have a wide variety, and they were very appealing."

"I have visited The Ashford of Grove City Assisted living for my grandmother. It's a beautiful facility, very well-maintained, and the staff was really friendly. All of the residents that we ran into, had a smile on their faces and it was a really pleasant surprise. It was a very nice facility. The staff who accommodated us was wonderful and very accommodating, she answered any questions we had. The whole process was nice. I didn't see any of the food, but the dining area was spectacular. They have a buffet-style breakfast and for lunch and dinner, you order off a menu like you're at a restaurant and you have servers that bring it to you. They were playing volleyball with pool noodles and a balloon in one of the rooms, and it looked really fun. Everybody was having a good time laughing, smiling, and they offer other things as well."

"I'm probably going to stay at Paramount Senior Living at Polaris. I saw both assisted living and independent living there. I chose Paramount Senior Living because it's close to my daughter who will be my power of attorney, and as my condition changes, I will be able to stay there. It's nice. The room is very nicea, the facility is brand new and everything is very nice. The people I met were very nice. They have a beautiful dining room and it's restaurant style. I haven't seen any staff except the lady who showed me around. Nobody is in the home right now because it's brand new. The first patients would be me and whoever comes in in December."

"I've chosen the United Church Homes - The Polaris Community, and I'll be moving in this May. It was very well done and professional. The two people who led the tour were excellent. It's brand new. It's beautiful. They have everything from workout facilities to movie theaters to just basically everything. I liked the one person in particular who bent over backwards to find the ideal spot for me."

"My stepfather is in Westerwood and his experience has been good. He's there for rehab and he's comfortable there. He's in the same wing with the same caretakers so it was an easy transition. The staff is friendly, they're cooperative, we've been pleased with our interactions with them. I have not been in the dining room, he often has had his meals in his room, but the food looks really good. His room is clean and adequate, and he has a roommate, and it's nice. The outdoor spaces look very inviting. They have tables, benches, and umbrellas for the sun, they are landscaped, and they're very pleasant."

"Kensington Place is the cleanest place that I have ever walked into. The staff was very friendly. However, I could not afford it. The community was beautiful and centrally located, which is nice. I wish they could make it more affordable. "
