"The Forum at Knightsbridge seems friendly. It seems to have the services I'm looking for. The rooms were nice. Some of them, I think, even have balconies. I would give it a 5 rating just because of the nice attitude that I got when I was there. They were friendly. I like the staff there. The rooms are pretty much the same as everybody else's. I'm looking for a one-bedroom. One is 624 square feet, and the other is 585 square feet. I love my condo, and I don't want to leave, but my family thinks otherwise. I guess the rooms at The Forum is going to be spacious. It's going to be a transition, of course, but I guess I'm ready for it."

"I liked the outside appearance of Brookdale Muirfield, and when I walked into, it was really nice and clean. The people were very pleasant and the rooms were nice. They had what I needed for my friend, which would be a kitchenette with a sink. She drinks iced coffee and tea, and I wanted her to be able to rinse out her glass without going into the bathroom, and they had that. The pricing was amazing compared to everything else I looked at. So, this would be our choice so far. The tour was handled very well. I was introduced to some of the staff as they were walking through the hallways. I was shown three different types of rooms, and everything was explained to me about the different levels of care, as well as the pricing, and all that. So, everything was pretty clear. They had crafts, church services, games, and all different kinds of stuff. I was in every room and they have quite a bit of stuff going on."

"Our visit at Danbury at Columbus was very nice and we were impressed. The apartments were very nice, and the 2-bedroom unit was just what we need. They have an exercise room, outings to restaurants, and different activities around town. They have a doctor on staff as well as nurses, and they also help with dialysis."

"Harrison on 5th by Senior Star is the place I like the best out of the four I've seen so far. Its appearance is very appealing. Everyone that I met were staff members and also residents. The staff members seemed very capable, very friendly, and very professional. The residents appeared, to me, to be very happy. The facility was very clean, very fresh looking, attractive, nicely painted, and appeared to be nicely maintained. The person who gave me the tour was Seneca. The reason I like this facility the best of the four I have seen so far is because she was so transparent about everything, about the costs and the charges for the level of care. With the others, there will be more work for me to figure out what it would cost for my cousin to go there or I won't be able to find out what they consider her level of care to be until after the assessment. At Harrison on 5th by Senior Star, based on my description of her needs, they came up with what they thought was the likely level of care cost, and they said this can change after they do an assessment in some way (in person or electronically), and then they could tell me for sure. They were the only one of the four that gave me an idea in advance right on the spot."

"My dad is at Bickford of Worthington, and he's doing fine. The staff has been terrific, very responsive, attentive, and proactive, and they communicate well. We can't go in there right now because of COVID, but he has plenty of room in his apartment, it's clean, and they have plenty of activities."

"The staff has been wonderful to work with. My mother was reluctant to move out of her house, but is very glad that she did. She is really enjoying community living."

"The Bristol just checks all the boxes. It is beautiful. It's brand new. The food is good. The staff is nice. The apartment's very nice, too, and my mom is going to have a beautiful balcony when she moves in. The size of the rooms is so nice. It has lots of closets and she is going to have her own storage space. They have activities directors that come in and help. They have 24-hour nursing care, which was important to me, where a nurse practitioner comes in three times a week to the facility. They have a theater, a little cafe, beautiful walking grounds, which look over to a scenic park, a couple of really nice terraced patios that you can look out on, and a market that is right next door that you can walk to."

"The staff is very caring and compassionate, and the facility is very clean. They are even providing farm to table food. I am so blessed that my parents are living here."

"I went to Alpine House of Columbus. It was a great experience. The staff was lovely. The place was lovely. I liked everything that I heard. It was a nice facility. I liked the stairway and they had an elevator, too, so that's a plus. They offer the laundry and help you with your medicine, and they do housecleaning. As far as I could see, everything was nice."

"My mom will be moving into Oakleaf Village of Columbus. They were offering a one-bedroom for the price of a studio. It had a small kitchen. The facility seemed clean. Some of the stuff has aged, but I know they're updating rooms as they go. So the room we were looking at was updated. They had an activity page, and it seemed good. They had a small, curvy pathway. There were some shades of trees, and I like that. There was a little garden with flowers. We liked the tour director."

"My mom is now at Grove City Senior Living by Traditions. The one thing that I liked about it was that the pricing was all-inclusive. So whether my mom's care needed to change or whether the type of assistance that she needed altered, we knew that we were not going to have to come up with another thousand dollars a month on any given month. It was a set amount to be able to at least get started and understand what's needed. I also really enjoyed the facility itself. It was very, very clean and well laid out. I like the various sitting areas that they had around the facility. So when people come to visit, they want to take them out of their room, and it's not always right there in the memory care area. There are areas upstairs we can take and have a private visit. There are probably four or five different areas where we can take my mom to have a private visit with family and whatnot. And I really, really like that option. All the people that we have been dealing with, and all the administration and everything, are wonderful. However, when we went into memory care, we knew that there were issues, but we didn't realize that they were going to ask us to pay independently for some extra days of care for my mom. So that was the only disappointing part, but the people we worked with even in that regard were great. They have different types of exercise programs, arts and crafts, and occupational-type stuff, and I like that. They have activities for them to do on their own. There are all kinds of different stuff for them to redirect them and give them something to do with their busy time when their brains aren't working right. With all the care that they're giving, the structure, and all the things that are there, and knowing the comparison of some of the other facilities that we visited that aren't as nice, I would have to say Grove City Senior Living by Traditions' pricing is very good."

"I have visited The Ashford of Grove City Assisted living for my grandmother. It's a beautiful facility, very well-maintained, and the staff was really friendly. All of the residents that we ran into, had a smile on their faces and it was a really pleasant surprise. It was a very nice facility. The staff who accommodated us was wonderful and very accommodating, she answered any questions we had. The whole process was nice. I didn't see any of the food, but the dining area was spectacular. They have a buffet-style breakfast and for lunch and dinner, you order off a menu like you're at a restaurant and you have servers that bring it to you. They were playing volleyball with pool noodles and a balloon in one of the rooms, and it looked really fun. Everybody was having a good time laughing, smiling, and they offer other things as well."

"We are in the process of moving in. It's a very nice place. One of the nice things they have is a very safe shower. They have two dining rooms that you can order off the menu. The resident's rooms were nice size and so far, the people we've come in contact with are very nice as well. A couple other people that live there said the food was enjoyable. The staff is so helpful that they said they are going to help me invite some friends for a tea or luncheon."
