My mom moved into The Ashford of Grove City. I chose it because it was close to all her children, that's number one. Number two, it was clean, and the people seemed friendly. They cooked meals for her. That was the first one she looked at and the first one she chose. However, they're not cleaning her apartment the way I want them to, but they're very friendly and very nice. They have three meals a day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have different activities, different days of the week, but my mom hasn't gone to any yet. They're having a trick-or-treat. She's paying an astronomical amount. I don't think it's worth it. She should be able to live in a castle for what she's paying, but I know this is assisted living, and they feed her. But it's like 5 to 6,000 a month. That's ridiculous.

The tour we had of The Ashford of Grove City was very good. It's a very aesthetically pleasing place. They have a very good coordination team for activities for memory care patients who need that next level of engagement. The staff member who gave the tour was amazing. She went over everything and answered all my questions. The rooms were good. They're big enough. They each have their own bathroom and private areas, so that was nice. The dining areas were huge and very open. They have plenty of room for a lot of people. It's a very well put-together place. They're very well-spoken on the issue, too. They know what they're talking about, and they know the answers to all the questions and that kind of stuff.

My mom moved into The Ashford of Grove City. It's a very nice community. It's brand new and very clean. The nursing staff is amazing. I'm in constant communication with the head nurse all the time about things going on with my mom. They have a really good event coordinator who does events for both senior living and the memory care unit, which I think is nice. So we were really happy with it. It's on the cheaper side of some of the other nursing homes that we visited.

I have visited The Ashford of Grove City Assisted living for my grandmother. It's a beautiful facility, very well-maintained, and the staff was really friendly. All of the residents that we ran into, had a smile on their faces and it was a really pleasant surprise. It was a very nice facility. The staff who accommodated us was wonderful and very accommodating, she answered any questions we had. The whole process was nice. I didn't see any of the food, but the dining area was spectacular. They have a buffet-style breakfast and for lunch and dinner, you order off a menu like you're at a restaurant and you have servers that bring it to you. They were playing volleyball with pool noodles and a balloon in one of the rooms, and it looked really fun. Everybody was having a good time laughing, smiling, and they offer other things as well.
