"My mom was moved here after a stay in another facility. It is a night and day experience. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are very helpful and have exceeded my expectations.She has only been here a few weeks and out of quarantine a few and days. But as a family member I feel she is going to be well cared for. "

"If money were not an issue, I would say Stone Oak Retirement Resort was great. It's beautiful. It has everything, but it's too fancy and too expensive for my cousin. It has a movie theater. It has all kinds of chef- cooked foods, a waterfall in the lobby, and all kinds of fancy stuff. It is also well-kept. It was gorgeous, but we don't want everything. We want a nice place but not too expensive."

"I have moved into Verena at Hilliard. So far, it's been great. The facility is very nice. The residents have been very welcoming and friendly. Everybody comes up to you and introduces themselves and asks if you're new and who you are and where you live. People invite you to their lunch table to have lunch with them and get to know them. It's been a great experience as far as that goes. I've done a few of the activities so far, and those have been fun and well-planned, and I've been very impressed with the staff so far. The food's incredible. I've participated in bingo. We played Yahtzee. I did a painting class. I went and checked on the group that was playing euchre. Today, there's Bridge, and we did a shopping trip. They have two shopping trips a week, one is grocery shopping and then the other is general shopping. I went on the general shopping one this week and that was a great experience. It was smoothly run. We had a big St. Patrick's Day party with Irish step dancers and bagpipers and that was great and the food spread was wonderful. They had a couple of happy hours. They've got on the schedule, things like musicians, craft classes, poker groups, and walking clubs, they have exercise every day, and they show movies. The activity director is always asking people what they're interested in and for suggestions, and she was open to everything I've mentioned to her so far. She has an assistant and she is the same way. She was pleased with the ideas I had and said they were great ideas, and that she was going to look into them. That was kind of nice to know that they were open to new things."

"Their rehab facility is clean. My sister has a semi-private room there now. She's getting some physical therapy and help her to get some balance. She has some issues with getting dizzy. The staff are friendly and nice. "

"I was very impressed with The Ashford on Broad. I was welcomed well, and the person who showed me through was very kind and answered all my questions. The place looked lovely. I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"My father moved to Cherry Blossom Senior Living. I very much like the facility. They are very communicative. We keep in touch quite often, which I very much appreciate with the lockdown; that's a very important thing. I think the room is appropriately sized for him. I think he wanted something a little bigger, but he doesn't really need anything bigger. It doesn't look like you're in any kind of facility. It doesn't look like you're in a hospital or anything like that. So, it's cozy. He likes the food. He's a little bit immobile, so he can't participate in all of the activities, but he does get frequent visits. I know they have a theatre, a courtyard, and a bistro like a food place. They do have a bar for happy hour and that is all I'm personally aware of. They could have more, but I'm not totally sure. I very much like their layout. I like the facility. I like the inside. It's a brand-new facility, so everything looks very new and modern."

"We're happy with Oakleaf Village of Columbus. It's a good environment for Mom. She likes that the room size is fairly large for a studio. She has a full kitchen, which is something we were looking for. She has a full refrigerator, stove, and microwave. They serve three meals, but you have to buy the third if you want it. They have laundry, medication services, bathing, and clothing assistance, and they have a nurse there that will come in and check your blood pressure and weigh you daily. They provide trash collection and they have transportation to doctors' offices. I've eaten there and it's good. They have a lot of activities."

"I have been in Trillium Place for three years now. This is a nice, upscale place, well decorated and clean. It has nice apartments, and the food is good. The staff seems competent. However, I just don't like the activities that they have here, and I am bored to death. I am looking for a place with more activities. "

"We moved my mother here when her current assisted living facility could no longer provide for her. My father picked this place with zero knowledge, he just chose it based on proximity and price. I can't explain how fortunate we were that he did. The people could not have been more kind and caring. They took such good care of her and made her last days as comfortable as possible. They also made sure that my father was taken care of, even offering counseling services. The people working there are true angels, and no words will do them justice. From the bottom of our hearts, my family and I thank all of you."

"StoryPoint Pickerington is a beautiful place. It's got all the things that anybody could want. It has a workout room and a cafeteria. The common spaces were really, really nice. The one-bedroom was small, but the two-bedrooms were nice. The staff was nice. Most of the residents were on a field trip that day, so it was pretty empty. They had patios on the apartments. The layout was really, really nice. I really liked it."

"I have 15 or 20 friends here. The people I know who are there appreciated the staff. The rooms aren't big enough for me at the moment. I have tasted the food several times, and it was fine. The dining area was very nice. They have several study groups, they have people come in to do mini-concerts once in a while, and they have a lovely library. The security was very good. "

"It was my sister who picked here for mom. She liked it because they had extra help that my mom needed. It's a very nice facility. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about it. The staff are very helpful and very polite. They are also kind and when mom is in need of things they are willing to help her out. Their rooms are very nice. Most of the rooms have the view of the outside so that's very nice too. I have eaten there and they have different menu choices and the food is very good. They have a very large and open dining room with a piano in it wherein they also have entertainment in there. It has enough tables were the residents can socialize with others. They have an exercise room, a library which is very nice, and they also have different places outside where you can gather and just relax and enjoy the outdoors. "

"StoryPoint of Gahanna is absolutely wonderful! We are so pleased with the facility. My dad loves having his own space with his own furniture! He has such a beautiful and spacious apartment. He loves the freedom and I love knowing that someone is there when he needs. They are welcoming and always answer your calls and questions. I would recommend StoryPoint to anyone.
