"Creekside at the Village appeared to be comfortable and nice, and it's very appropriate for seniors. They had spacious one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, and some come with a fireplace. It was a very nice community. They have activities like playing cards, bingo, and they have outings outside the community. The staff there was very helpful and very personable. Their dining area looked really clean and appropriate. Overall, it's a very clean and well-operated community. We were there to look at their assisted living level."

I've been to some other ones, and this was more reasonably priced. I saw people in the gathering areas, and they had a very nice events calendar. The rooms were very nice, too."

"Cherry Blossom Senior Living is a very nice facility. I met with a bunch of people that had family there and they said the care was great. The rooms are very nice. It's like a nice hotel room. The aides are all very friendly. It's light, bright, and clean. Because of COVID you can't go in. They have a lot of activities and a lot of amenities. They keep the residents busy. I'm very happy with where my husband is at. Once I saw this place, it was like, "This is it.""

"Trillium Place is very, very nice. It was on the higher scale of cost, and I was not clear as to whether they could accommodate his needs. They have activities, but they seem to be more directed towards a more independent patient. The facility looks very bright and cheerful. It's very nice and well kept. "

"Stone Oak Retirement Resort was a very beautiful place, but just a little bit more expensive than what we were willing to pay every month. It's new. The person that we talked to was very caring and nice. The room I saw was very homey, very nice, very clean, very comfortable looking, and all the amenities were there. The kitchen was very nice and very pretty. They had a kitchenette and they had everything that you'd ever want. They have a bus and they go on shopping trips and take people to doctors' appointments. They were very willing to work with us as far as the move-in cost. We agreed she would pay a certain amount up until end of the year. I was impressed. They have a dining room and that's one of the first things you see as you walk in. It's pretty and they use tablecloths. It was set up like a beautiful restaurant. It was very inviting."

"The people who live here are very nice and friendly. The people who work here are helpful, and they are also friendly for the most part. Since I live in a cottage, I don't have many meals at the Dining Room, but when I have had lunch or meals for special occasions in the Dining Room, the food has been very good and plentiful. The people who work in the dining room do a good job serving. I have enjoyed the activities programs and accessibility to the Hilliard Library. I have some minor issues for the handy man to take care of, and it may be that he needs an assistant, so I will be patient to wait for him to take care of things. This winter was very cold, and I had a few very high electric bills because the windows in my unit are a bit drafty."

"I've chosen the United Church Homes - The Polaris Community, and I'll be moving in this May. It was very well done and professional. The two people who led the tour were excellent. It's brand new. It's beautiful. They have everything from workout facilities to movie theaters to just basically everything. I liked the one person in particular who bent over backwards to find the ideal spot for me."

"I chose Paramount Senior Living at Polaris for my mom because I like it better than its sister community. I like the size of the rooms and the amenities. It has a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and all that in her room. I've had a few issues and we've worked them out. The staff is very friendly. I have eaten with her several times in their dining room, it was very good. They have activities almost every day, they have movies, games, and bingo, and they have a beauty salon once a week."
