"Rooms are spacious and bright. Food is excellent, according to mom. Staff is attentive but difficult to find on weekends and evenings. We were told front door is locked at 8p, but found it is locked at 7p…wish someone would have told us about the change."

"Aaron's Garden Senior Living & Memory Care was beautiful. It was great. There was nothing wrong with the community, but we wanted a single apartment for my father. We did not want a bedroom where he would walk out into the hallway. It was a beautiful setup. He loved it as far as if he was at that point to go there at a different time, yes, but not at this stage in his life. The people during the tour were very pleasant. It's very clean. The common areas were very pleasant."

"My sister-in-law was staying at Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community. I like the availability of the staff. The staff was attentive to my sister-in-law when she was there for three weeks. The facility is clean, comforting, and inviting. They have restaurants, a hairdresser, and little stores on site. It was more like the feeling of an indoor village versus just a nursing home or assisted living property. They had things to encompass everything that you need, whatever the stage of your need is."

"Traditions of Lebanon seemed brand new. The staff who gave the tour was excellent. They have a standalone apartment. It's beautiful. It has a garage. It's very well decorated. It's a living room, a nice bedroom, and a good kitchen. It's pretty. They have transportation. They have full-service kind of thing. It's very nice."

"What sets Storypoint apart from the other assisted living facilities in the area is the care and attention of the staff. All of the staff. They know the patients by name. They often stop what they are doing to help a resident out. I observed this for over a week while I was visiting. It was like the residents had a member of the family around them all the time. Anything they wanted or needed was taken care of right away. No detail was too small. The food and facilities are wonderful. The activities are abundant and diverse. The residents are friends and they too reach out to each other. When I got back home , I wished there was a Storypoint here!"

"I toured Barrington of West Chester. It's well done, well prepared, has a lot of activities, is in good shape, and is friendly. The staff know the people there. They go above and beyond. The facility was clean and well laid out."

"I toured Beehive Homes of Liberty Township. I liked the fact that they were small-scale. I felt like if I'd been there I could have gotten more one-on-one and more personal attention. It was a very clean facility. The staff was very caring. I have no experience with them, but just from what I observed, they seemed nice and caring."

"Overall. Storypoint is a wonderful community. The activities are always well planned and coordinated and the staff is always helpful and kind. The only complaint I’ve ever heard is regarding the dining. The length of time that it takes to get meals and be quite long and the food doesn’t always appeal to the one’s looking for just basic meals. I’m told that the meals seem to be focused more for fine dining rather than just basic dinners ie meat and potatoes. This is always just personal preference and overall the food is very good. "

"My apartment at Biltmore Towers Senior Living is OK, not something I would brag about. It’s a one-bedroom apartment that is good enough for one person. The maintenance crew is really nice. The manager of the place can be a little bit snooty. They don’t provide the meals, but they do have bingo. "

"I liked One Lincoln Park because it's close to where I live so I'm already familiar with the area. It's an independent living and there wasn't anything I didn't like about it. I liked the location and the manager who gave me the tour did a very good job of explaining the amenities there and everything they have to offer. She took me out for a tour of the grounds too. I like the facility and the feel of it. They're also pet-friendly. They have a courtyard and during my visit, there were a lot of people outside walking or sitting on benches. They had a barbershop and a salon."

"Suites at Walnut Creek is very clean, has very caring staff, and is affordable. We told them what our budget was, and they're able to meet it. They have a secured assisted living, the food is restaurant-style, and it's fairly decent. I would have no hesitations for recommending it. I've been very pleased with it. "

"Harmony Mobile Home Park is the most wonderful place to live. My neighbor from down the street just brought me dinner; we help each other and take each other to the store. It’s like a little family down here. I have 2 parakeets that have a cage right in front of the window and they just love it. They have a nice office and the ladies get down there and play cards. You do have to pay your lot rent which is a little over $300 a month and then you pay all your utilities. We get discounts on our natural gas. Everybody has to keep their place nice and if you don’t mow your lawn when it’s getting too high, you get told by the manager it’s time to mow your lawn. They want to make everything look real nice and they do a good job of it. We just got a new owner. None of us liked the old owners because they were a pain in the neck but I think this gentleman is going to be quite fair with us. We’d only have much crime around here. They’d robbed the bank one time and some guy just got out of jail. He picked out the first trailer, knocked on the door, tied up the lady and took her car but they had it back within 45 minutes. The cops caught him right away. "

"The staff at Brookview Place were very helpful and the tenants were great. I had a one bedroom apartment with a full patio from the bedroom to the living room. It also had a storage area, entry hall, kitchen and a pretty good closet space. There were a lot of activities to keep you occupied like bingo twice a month, auctions and prom in June. It had a very homey and very friendly environment. I enjoyed being there and I was very happy. I would really recommend this place. "
