I moved into Trinity Community at Miami Township, and I am so happy. I'm doing terrifically except that I can't get my stuff out of storage. The management here let me go shopping in an apartment that a lady left and left things. Some people gave me some things, and I exchanged them. They offer three meals a day as part of the rent. They offer transportation. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, they use the bus to take people places, and they change the places every month. They also go out to lunch on Wednesday. They go to Kroger and Walmart. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they take you to your medical appointments. They have a bus and a car. The gentleman who drives the vehicles is just such a sweetheart. It's better than calling an Uber. They've got acreage, so it's all treed, and there's a pond. It's just beautiful. The staff all works together to make sure that we're taken care of. My first night here, the rental manager called me and said, "Are you going down to dinner tonight?" I said, "Yeah." She said, "Why don't I have it sent up? I know you're tired." She had it sent up, but it never came. My cell phone died, and my cord died. I went downstairs because I didn't even know what time it was. The gentleman who was running the reception desk was so concerned that I didn't have dinner that he went and made dinner for me. That's not his job. He's not a cook. People go out of their way to make sure you get what you need if the need is literally right now. I get my apartment cleaned tomorrow. The gentleman who cleans apartments came into the dining room one day, recognized me, and introduced himself because I was new. The next day somebody else new came. They just couldn't be nicer. The director walked through to get a soda one day, saw me there, and said, "I'm so sorry I haven't been able to meet with you. I want to welcome you. I've got a meeting to go to, but we're so glad you joined us." You don't have to buy food. They make some of the desserts. The portions are more in line with what we should eat and the size that we should eat. Their omelets are one- or two-egg omelets. They don't overwhelm you with three large eggs. You can order an omelet for breakfast any day. They'll make it for you. It's just a nice place to live. They don't have an RN here, but they have aide companies you can hire. They bring people to dinner and get them back home, bathe them, and do all the usual things. We have a menu. They have soup, two entrees, and then they have a regular menu with sandwiches and other selections if you don't like the entree. There's always fruit. It's really terrific. No one here is above or below doing anything that needs to be done. Sometimes the server doesn't show up. I've eaten there twice when I've seen the chef come out and clear the tables. If they don't see you, they're out looking for you. I have five grab bars in my shower. My shower is smaller. There's something to grab no matter where I am. To upgrade my apartment and make my kitchen look fresh, they painted the dark wood white. Everything looks modern. They changed the handles to a satin-finish chrome look. The appliances are all white. I have a full-sized dishwasher, a five-foot refrigerator, a microwave, and a full oven and stovetop. There's not much counterspace, but a double sink. I look out on the treetops, and beyond the treetops is a pond and a gazebo. The people determine what's cooked here. They've kept up the flooring. There isn't trash around. They vacuum every day. The residents are very respectful of the rooms that we use. There's a great room that's multifunctional. There's a room where people play cards and do jigsaw puzzles. There's a patio where they're having a party with music. There's a front porch that doesn't look like a nursing home. People sit out there in rocking chairs all afternoon and just talk. They know one another, and they talk. It's very, very welcoming. Their days are just packed if you want to be doing everything. They had a knitting circle yesterday. They knit hats for babies. They just turned in over 200 of them to an organization to give to hospitals for newborns. They have mahjong, Bridge, and euchre. It's worth the money because I don't have to do anything. I can be entertained. They have movie nights. You're allowed to play with the TV. People watch the news together and decide what they want to see. It's a community.

We toured Trinity Community at Miami Township, and we liked it a lot. The rooms were the nicest we saw. The people were very congenial, very helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable about what they were talking about. I think it was very nice. I liked the fact that it had a walking path all the way around it. If you walk three times around and it, that would be one mile. They have a nice pond with a gazebo that you could go sit by the water. It's very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

We chose it because everybody was friendly. Molly was very nice and very friendly. She knew all the residents by their first name. All the residents were very outgoing and friendly, too. They just gave the impression that they went above and beyond to make their residents comfortable. Since my dad moved in, he's been really enjoying it. If he doesn’t want what's on the menu, they're willing to make something else that he wants. The whole atmosphere was just very friendly, kind of like a family. They have card games and walking clubs. Someone comes in once a week to dust and sweep his apartment, change his bed, take his sheets and all his towels, and wash those. He has a washer and a dryer in his apartment, so he does his personal laundry. They call and check on him every morning. If he doesn’t respond, they call back after an hour. If he still doesn’t respond, they will come and check on him.

I came here for a trial and never left. The staff is really wonderful. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I thought about it for several years and knew I needed to come to a place like this but dragged my feet. I was very ill before I came. They went that extra mile, and my children were very impressed. It has 100+ units and most units have a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. There are also two-bedroom units. It’s a large place. I participate in at least one of the activities here every day.

This community is our favorite. It’s very modern and was just built not too long ago. The rooms were nice. The food was very good served to you by a waitress. It’s a little higher class. The rooms were lovely.

It was very nice and homey. I know that they provide transportation for the citizens who are able to go to the stores or any of their appointments if needed. The staff was very nice and professional. The rooms were very nice, and they were like apartments.

It's a perfectly nice place if you are independent; however, I might need more help than what they offer. It is more like apartment living than assisted living. However, they have a lot of good activities, and they even drive their bus to do different things. The people are really into activities and going places.

My mother is living here, and everything is very nice. It is safe, clean, and a nice environment. Her room is small, and though they have other options, that's what she can afford. Everybody is very nice and caring. They also have activities.

We moved in four years ago, and we are very happy here. The rooms are the largest of any of the senior living facilities because this facility was an old hotel. I think they do a very good job in terms of activities. We have exercises, mind games, entertainment that comes in, etc. I would very much recommend this facility.
