"Aaron's Garden Senior Living & Memory Care was beautiful. It was great. There was nothing wrong with the community, but we wanted a single apartment for my father. We did not want a bedroom where he would walk out into the hallway. It was a beautiful setup. He loved it as far as if he was at that point to go there at a different time, yes, but not at this stage in his life. The people during the tour were very pleasant. It's very clean. The common areas were very pleasant."

"We moved to Traditions of Lebanon. It had everything we were looking for, and the price was right. We go to dinner every night in the dining room. The food is pretty good. We'd be more clear if we moved here, so we think we made the right decision. It's a perfect fit for us."

"Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community is excellent. We went to various places. We saw standalone places, we saw places that were kind of like apartment situations, and we saw the activity centers and that sort of thing. The staff who gave the tour was excellent. They have about everything you need to have from houses and two-bedrooms all the way to nursing home setting. I saw one of the restaurants, a game room, the area where they play outside, and their little lake or pool or whatever. They're very nice. The food was excellent. I had lunch there."

"We visited StoryPoint Troy and toured the assisted living. It was like going on a cruise ship. It was beautiful. The people couldn't have been nicer, they were very helpful. Everything was quite good. It's just that the place they showed us would be too small for my husband and me. Something bigger would have been better. I knew that the facility was more money than what we wanted to spend, but everything else about it, I was highly impressed with. We looked at their dining area, and they offered to bring, us food. It sounded as if they had a lot of different activities,, and I was impressed. The men have breakfast once a month together. If you are interested in Euchre, you can start your own Euchre club. They're very open to the residents and the residents seemed very happy there. All the reports we have gotten from people who have had family there have been a five star. It is a five-star place, after all. They do your laundry, they feed you, and all your meals are covered, and they come and clean your apartment twice a week and do a deep cleaning once a month. You're very well cared for if that's what you need."

"I toured Barrington of West Chester. It's well done, well prepared, has a lot of activities, is in good shape, and is friendly. The staff know the people there. They go above and beyond. The facility was clean and well laid out."

"I toured Beehive Homes of Liberty Township. I liked the fact that they were small-scale. I felt like if I'd been there I could have gotten more one-on-one and more personal attention. It was a very clean facility. The staff was very caring. I have no experience with them, but just from what I observed, they seemed nice and caring."

"The rooms are lovely. Very comfortable and easy to get around in. Very nice dining room with meals and selections to choose from. The facility is kept very clean which was important to my mother. She has a great set up where she’s at that’s easy for her to use! Could go on for days about how wonderful the staff is!! It’s like family to my mom and they really look out for the residents. I always feel so welcomed when I come to visit! I’m so happy we found Storypoint!"

"One Lincoln Park was a beautiful place. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The guy who gave us the tour was incredibly nice and answered all our questions. We kind of realized right away that it was going to be way too expensive for my sister and that they didn't take Medicaid, so there was no way she could have stayed there through the long term. But the staff was willing to give us a tour anyway. He was very gracious. Everything was in really good shape. The dining area and the type of food they served were nice."

"My parents are moving to Walnut Creek Campus. They're in a house there. It's very nice. I call it a cottage. They're independent, but it's part of Walnut Creek. Down the road if they would need other services, everything would be right there. There's a beauty shop. My dad went through it. They're really not having a lot of people go through still because of Covid. I've only seen the cottage. I know there's seven pianos in the assisted living area there, which is very close to the home my parents are in.They have dining rooms there for eating. There were rooms for social activities. It has newer appliances and is nicely painted. There is new carpet. It was very nice stuff, and the lighting in the house is very good."

"The staff at Brookview Place were very helpful and the tenants were great. I had a one bedroom apartment with a full patio from the bedroom to the living room. It also had a storage area, entry hall, kitchen and a pretty good closet space. There were a lot of activities to keep you occupied like bingo twice a month, auctions and prom in June. It had a very homey and very friendly environment. I enjoyed being there and I was very happy. I would really recommend this place. "

"Harmony Mobile Home Park is the most wonderful place to live. My neighbor from down the street just brought me dinner; we help each other and take each other to the store. It’s like a little family down here. I have 2 parakeets that have a cage right in front of the window and they just love it. They have a nice office and the ladies get down there and play cards. You do have to pay your lot rent which is a little over $300 a month and then you pay all your utilities. We get discounts on our natural gas. Everybody has to keep their place nice and if you don’t mow your lawn when it’s getting too high, you get told by the manager it’s time to mow your lawn. They want to make everything look real nice and they do a good job of it. We just got a new owner. None of us liked the old owners because they were a pain in the neck but I think this gentleman is going to be quite fair with us. We’d only have much crime around here. They’d robbed the bank one time and some guy just got out of jail. He picked out the first trailer, knocked on the door, tied up the lady and took her car but they had it back within 45 minutes. The cops caught him right away. "

"T his was an excellent senior community, everyone was great and the residence really seem to love being there, and they stay forever. I lived there for nearly 3 yrs. "

"I toured Bethany Lutheran Village for my friend. It's lovely. It's accommodating. It has lots of activities. It has a lot of levels of care. It is also a buy-in community. So there's a buy-in or an annuity that you have to put down, which is okay, and it's much more reasonable than the places in Orange County for the services, but you don't age in place there. So you buy in at one level and then they care for you on the continuum. You buy an independent, then you go to assisted living, then you would go to nursing care. Annie was really good. She was helpful. I didn't eat in the dining area, but they have a café, and I've eaten there. The food was really good, and there was lots of variety."

"The Ashford of Beavercreek was beautiful, brand new, very nice, and well done. The problem was the cost. The staff was very nice, and very helpful, answered all questions, and was outstanding. The facility was fantastic. It was in wonderful shape. It's very thoughtful. They have handrails in the hallways. It's well laid out. The only problem is they do not have a kitchen, just a microwave and a refrigerator. It's modern, very clean, very stark, and very minimalistic, but price-wise, they were $1500 more a month than the others that I had talked to."
