I liked Bickford of Bexley. I liked the activities and the surroundings, but my mother-in-law didn't want to be there because she noticed more people needed assistance than she did. I wouldn't put an independent person there. The staff was very informative and very nice. It was a nice place. They had a salon. It's near all the restaurants on Main Street. Your family could come and take you to eat out or you can eat there, so it was convenient.

I liked the atmosphere at Bickford of Bexley and the good feeling it gave me. The staff was great. The rooms were very big and clean, even the smaller ones. They showed me their social activities. When I was there, there was a musician.

I toured Bickford of Bexley. It's small but very clean, and very apportioned. The staff was very welcoming and understanding. The dining area was very clean, and there were groups of people still talking.

Bickford of Bexley was really nice. It was a beautiful and home-like community. The staff was very kind, caring, and friendly. They were willing to go out of their way for people. Even though my mom didn't get into Bickford, they continued to contact me asking about her care. They continued to ask what was going on, and if they could do anything to help. They're really very, very wonderful people. They showed me menus of the food, and the menu was outstanding. It's not like regular nursing home or hospital food. It was really prepared and really cooked with a chef and everything. It was wonderful. I didn't get to taste it, but from what I saw and what I heard, it was amazing food. If I could put my mom in there, I definitely would.

I toured Bickford of Bexley. It's very personable and very clean. They had a lot of activities for the seniors. It was a place that I would recommend. I would take my loved one there if I could afford it, but I can't afford it. The staff were very nice. They loved their job. It wasn't just a job for them, it was a career, and they were very passionate about health care. They had a music room where they played the piano and people were able to sing.

The residents of Bickford of Bexley were very engaged with the activity that was going on. They still having limited visits because there were still COVID regulations, so I couldn't walk around very much. I think the care level looked good. The staff knew all the residents as we walked by. They said 'hi' to them, answered all my questions, and were willing to spend time with me. It's just an older facility, so some of the rooms looked a little tired. The memory care is on the third floor, which means that the residents don't have access to the garden.. Also the furniture in the room looks kind of beat up.

The staff at Bickford of Bexley was adorable. The one we dealt with seemed very caring and like a very good person to be in this type of profession. It's very homey. It looked like a home when you go in. They're very friendly. It's very clean and neat. They had activities, and they said they take them to different ballgames and outside activities. We liked it very much.

Bickford of Bexley was nice and clean. The staff during the visit was very helpful. We had lunch with the staff in their little private dining area. She called me back a few weeks after my father had moved into another place to see if we were happy with it and how things were going for him. The food was delicious.

I was very impressed with Bickford of Bexley, and I thought it felt like home. I loved the size and layout of the rooms, I thought it was very warm, comfortable, and great. We saw people in the dining room, playing games, listening to music, and families visiting. The staff was very outgoing, friendly, very inviting, and very nice. We saw the dining area, a room where they can go and get snacks, theres a popcorn machine, and there was a common area where people were watching TV. We had lunch there, it was very good, they have a private dining room for families that visit them, and they can eat there if the room is available. Thats the community I would choose for my father. One thing I liked was prior to our going there, one of the owners asked a bunch of questions about my dad, and they gave him a nice portrait of the downtown area of New York and a big book of things he was interested in. They thought it would be a nice thing to put in his room.

The rooms were bright and airy. I saw their dining room, and they do restaurant dining, but I was not able to taste the food. The people that I saw were nice and looked happy. The only thing there is that their parking lot is way too small.

I liked that they had a lot of activities for the residents and was a well-kept, bright, and welcoming place. However, there were several levels, the hallways were narrow, and there wasn't adequate parking for the guests. The menu was good, but they were flexible if the residents didn't care for the set menu and had other options. They had an ice cream parlor and a wine evening. It was a nice place.

It was very homey and had little fireplace rooms, libraries, and a lot of things. We didn't like that it was 3-stories and it was a larger facility, but other than that, it was beautiful, everybody was nice, and they had several pets walking around the place. We really liked it.

It was outdated and very small. My mom immediately said “no." It was not very bright. The area in which the residents congregated was very dark. They had a soda fountain area, but it wasn’t being used and was kind of dirty. The pictures on the wall were from the '70s, and we’re in 2016. The dining area was open and OK. There were wasn’t many things impressive about it. It did not have a woman’s touch there at all, but they had a nice dog at the front and that was a nice touch. I was not really impressed with the activities. They had an Alzheimer’s unit, which was nice because if someone had that kind of issue, they could move up and you would not have to move your parents. I liked that idea.

It was like home. It was very warm. I came in contact with a gentleman that showed me around and the lady at the front door. The apartments were very quaint and clean, not very spacious, but homey. Most of them were going to a movie when I visited.

The food was good. It had a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was not impressed with the all-in-one room, but I like the two-room apartments.

This was one that we liked. The accommodations, the people, everything, we loved. The only problem that we had with it was the room accommodations: the accommodations were small, and there were no closet. They have a stand alone closet to put their things in, and my mother-in-law didn't like that at all. It was one of our top ones. They had a lot of activities within the place, and also they had a bus that would take people to wherever they wanted to go: shopping or to a movie or whatever they wanted to do. They would take them to the doctor's or whatever. We would have loved working with them. But I told them right off that if it was me, I would not want to be there because there is no room.

I visited and they have really narrow hallways, and it doesn’t feel clean. The rooms are small. And this place doesn’t hardly have any parking.

This is the place where I saw the most staff helping the residents and that's a big thing for me. They are also very friendly. My father is not in the place yet, but this is where my father will be.
