"My sister in law has been a resident for 5 months and we have found the staff to be very kind, loving and helpful toward ALLl the patients. There have been a couple of issues that we needed to speak with the director about and he has always been very quick to address and correct the issues. The neurologist has been able to help our family member a lot too. The rooms are spacious, and clean and have their own thermostat control. The calendars are full of activities. Our sister in laws roommate is bed fast but the staff removes her from the bed each morning and takes her out to socialize. To date, we've only had 1 article of clothing that has come up missing. I would definitely recommend this place if someone was in need of a good facility. "

"Although parking was a pain, the staff was very nice which made up for that. The facility had a pleasant atmosphere. The walls were nice and bright. Staffing really cared about the well being of the patients and the patients families. The halls were very organized related to the illness of the patient. The administrator demonstrated a caring for the employees. There were no foul smells in the halls. The patients seemed pretty content. Now the dining area didnt seem too fancy, compared to other rehab facilities. The dining seems pretty small, barely enough room to seat all the people and the supporting staff. I found myself almost hitting my head on a hanging light above a table. Dietary doors were right there where we can hear almost everything said in the kitchen. Never the less, the staff were content and the atmosphere seemed bright. I would recommend Minerva Park to anyone needing rehab services in the Columbus Ohio area. "

"I really liked Highbanks Care Center. It's very nice, personable, and smaller. The rooms weren't as updated, but they're still nice and had individual showers. There's a bird watching area inside of the building."

"Willow Brook Christian Assisted Center has to be one of the nicest facilities I have ever been in. Everyone from the front desk staff to even the waitress staff was very accommodating to our needs. With stepping into this facility, it was very neat and clean. There was no odor that usually follows most nursing home/assisted centers. We even ate dinner with our Grandmother of which the food was excellent. "

"My mother has fallen a few times & after leaving the hospital she needed to go in a facility. She has been at Laurels of Norworth 3 separate times anow. Are they perfect, no. However, I find the majority of the nurses & physical therapist are good. They have always treated my mother with respect. The office personnel is very informative, every time I’ve called they’ve been great. "

"My father was in The Rehabilitation & Health Center of Gahanna. The rooms were a good size but they weren't the cleanest. We had to keep getting staff to come in to clean. There were sticky things on the floor and bandages that they had thrown off and hadn't picked up, so that was an issue. We got hospice involved, and then it was wonderful there; they seemed to take care of a lot of those issues for us. The food was fine. It tasted good to him so he enjoyed it. When it came to me telling them we needed something, it seemed to take forever for them to come to take care of what we needed, so that was an issue. Their staff needed to be trained a little bit better. "

"Worthington Christian Village wasn't quite as up to date. I could tell some of the furniture and the décor was a little older, and the apartments were smaller. It was less expensive, which was very attractive to us. They got nice beautiful grounds. It is a Christian-like atmosphere because it's tied to Worthington Christian Church (where many of the parishioners volunteer). When I was talking to some of the residents, they really appreciated the volunteers coming in. There was a very good atmosphere. As far as the look of the building, the upkeep, and the furniture and things, it was just a little less."

"My father is in the New Albany Care Center. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that everything is comfortable and clean. The rooms are absolutely incredible. They separate the bedroom, the living area, and the bathroom. I have not eaten there, but every time I go there and he is having lunch or dinner, I see there is a nice variety and very well balanced food. They have activities like bingo, and he goes to church there. My father is in better health now than he has been in three years, and I am very pleased. "

"Otterbein is good. The place itself is small and very open. The cleanliness is very good. It is very much like a regular home. When you walk in, there is a fireplace, and a kitchen to the left. They serve three meals a day. You can also converse and read your newspaper at the long kitchen table. There are only ten residents. They have a permanent staff there. They have different kinds of therapy and activities. They go out to lunch, they have someone come in a couple of times a week to do crafts, and they also have exercise classes. They have televisions and films, and there's a porch and a patio too."

"My aunt is living at Wesley Glen now and we were thinking about having my mom go there too. It covers all areas, which was one of the reasons why we kind of wanted to look at it because the one where she is going is just assisted living, so she wouldn't have to move. The staff was very, very nice and they were very friendly, and people were friendly there. I thought the place was very large, but it was dated. The apartments were very, very nice, and I would say they probably were more spacious, but the corridors were narrower and darker; it just wasn't uplifting or inviting as the one where my mother is going. They could do better lighting. "

"When I visited this assisted living provider, I went to sing Christmas carols with the residents. My high school's Key Club volunteered to do this to spend time with the residents. The residents seemed like they enjoyed the company and the bright holiday cheer we brought with us. The staff was very appreciative that we came to visit and were glad to help us. The building seemed very nice for the residents because it was decorated. We sung songs with them and passed out cookies and drinks. We also talked to some of the residents and they told us they really enjoyed our company and the fact that we came to see them. I think that the residents really enjoyed our visit and I am glad that I got to visit the residents. My grandma used to go to this assisted living provider and although I never got the chance to visit her while she stayed there, I was happy with the building and I think it was a great place for her to stay. "

"My father is at the Columbus Alzheimer Care Center. Their care is excellent, and the place is really nice. They're allowed to go outside, they have activities, they have TV they can watch or music they can listen to. His room is clean, I just want a different bed than the one that he's got. The staff is great. They're allowed to have snacks and drinks from time to time, and they do the laundry for them. His room has lots of windows, but it's a little warm. They need to work on the air-conditioning. He hasn't been there that long, but the staff really cares about their residents."
