"We hired Advantage Home Health Care - New Castle for my parents for a couple of months now. The caregivers come in daily, other than Saturday. They bathe my mom, get her out of bed and sit in a chair. They do light housekeeping and laundry. They can cook. My dad still does most of the cooking, but they offer that. The caregivers are excellent. There have been 3 different gals, and they are all good. They accept Medicaid and it is what helps provide the services."

They were really good at helping my dad out. They'll help with some light cleaning, but they've been really good company for him. The past few people that have come had a great sense of humor and they've been able to keep his interest. They've been really good. He enjoys that. He has compression socks that are kind of difficult and they help with changing those out when they're here. Sometimes they might even shave him or help him bathe and that sort of thing, which is nice because that kind of gives me a break here and there."

In the past month, there have been four times that no one has shown up at the scheduled time, and we did not receive a call from the agency notifying us of this. This left my mom in a bad situation since she is a fall risk and was then left to fend for herself at meal time. If we had known that no one was coming, we could have made other arrangements. Not a dependable service at all."
