"There's nothing nice about Alexandria Care Center. It's dirty and understaffed. My sister's physical therapist was absolutely wonderful, but everybody else from the top down in that place was not. I can't believe it's still open. My sister left even though she wasn't done yet."

"Overall, the people that resided in the nursing home seemed happy. My grandmother always seemed cheery, which is a good reflection of the staff. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with any needs that we had.The facility did seem to smell a lot every time that my family visited it. This was a big turn-off to me! But on the other hand, they did make the facility non-smoking, so that helped a lot with the smell I suppose.The food that they ate seemed to be all right, but I remember that my grandmother always wanted to eat out. I think that food is a very important thing in nursing homes. If the food is good, then the residents's attitudes will be good. There always seemed to be activities going on - old minds are still active minds - this was good, because my grandmothers always needed something to think on.I would recommend this nursing home to someone that needed a comfortable, affordable (but not lavish) place to live in. The staff made up for any of the downfalls. "

"A few months ago my great grandmother was a resident a Miller's Merry Manor. She loved living there, I know most people hate being in a nursing home but she absolutely loved being there. She loved the nurses and the other residents. I was so happy that she was there, because I had never seen her as happy as she was. The nurses and CNAs took great care of her. They answered all of my dad and my questions and they answered them with a smile. They always made sure that she was clean even towards the end when she couldn't care for herself at all. One of her nurses would even feed her when she couldn't. I totally recommend this place to anyone it is amazing. I love all the nurses, CNAs and the entire staff at Miller's Merry Manor. I am so grateful for all they did with my great grandmother. "

"We visited my mother-in-law who is in Westminster Village Muncie. They have an outstanding staff, so they're really good. The facilities are beautiful and well-kept. It's a nice place. Before the pandemic, I tried the food, and it was very good. I know they used to do trips and that sort of thing with the residents. There are some exercise opportunities or what-have-you. My mother-in-law doesn't participate in a lot of those, but they have movies, special evenings of music, and entertainment. The rooms are nice. My mother-in-law has a two-bedroom place that's really well designed and very easy for her to get around in. It looks new, and everything is really in great shape and well-kept. It's in great shape and very good condition."

"Morrison Woods Health Campus is excellent. My mother moved into this community, and I would just tell you that the care is excellent, it's an excellent facility. We've not been there very long. I just know that I have had no negative experience. They are very helpful, they're very kind, and they're very attentive. I can't tell you about the food because I don't eat there. I know they have bingo, they have exercises, and they have crafts, but we haven't been there that long to be able to give you any details. They have a library, they have housekeeping, her phones are included, and her TV is included, it's all-inclusive."

"My dad lived at Fairmont for almost three years and our my family grew very close to the staff and residents there. It is smaller community i think helped make my dad more comfortable. The nurses at Fairmont were so nice to us and always worked hard to make sure dad was taken care of. They also have a dog that the residents love! I would definitely recommedn this place for families looking at different options. "

"I am very impressed with the three facilities of Millers Merry Manor that I have visited. My mother is in the one in Peru, Indiana. I can give my best evaluation on that one. At Peru, I find that when I walk in I am greeted somewhere by a member of the staff or several members, on the way to mom's room. Mom is taken care of extremely well. I love the fact that they have what they call quarterly care meetings. She and I attend this with several members of the staff. They check to make certain her nursing care, food, health and activities are what she wants. They ask about things she does not like and the things she likes the most. If she mentions anything at all they are very quick to investigate and resolve any problems. I like very much the way I receive information. They call me if they change her medications, if they change her room, or if she is placed into Physical Therapy. They call me on anything.I am always asked if I agree with the plan or not. The staff is very good to listen. As I said I am very impressed with Peru, IN. I went on interviews at the other facilities which are Marion, IN and Wabash, IN. It was like walking in Peru all over again. The staff was warm and courteous. Even though I was a visitor they cared I was taken care of. I would recommend Millers Merry Manor to anyone who needs nursing care for long or short term care. "
