I was very impressed by the facility and the staff. I currently have one family member in this facility receiving care and I have also had one previously in the facility a few years back. This facility and the team has made great improvements over that time period.

My dad lived at Fairmont for almost three years and our my family grew very close to the staff and residents there. It is smaller community i think helped make my dad more comfortable. The nurses at Fairmont were so nice to us and always worked hard to make sure dad was taken care of. They also have a dog that the residents love! I would definitely recommedn this place for families looking at different options.

I would rate this facility a 4. This facility was clean and odor free. Many recent updates have made the facility look great. All the staff and therapy staff were helpful and nice. They went out of the way to provide me with information i was seeking. I like the home like feeling and adding pets who live there brought many smiles to the residents as i walked through the halls. i would recommend this facility to others.

I visited my grandfather here on many occasions, as a nursing care facility I felt that the staff were kind and helpful. However, there were many occasions they were understaffed. I feel that this is the same problem that many care facilities seem to have.The building is conveniently located next to Howard Regional Hospital, which is a benefit for those who need additional treatments. It is also accessible from two roads, the most notable being US 31.This is by far not a bad facility, it is quite clean and the staff try to provide those there with some daily activity. I remember seeing many patients that were well enough sitting outside during good days. It is unfortunate that many of those who stay here may not have much time left. I would highly recommend that if your loved one stays in this facility, you look in on them to make sure they are well cared for.

Such a nice litte community. My mother lived there for almost six months and my family was very happy with the level of service. I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone looking for long-term care. One thing that I've learned about nursing homes: it's the people who make a difference. IMPORTANT- Regardless of which facility you choose, make sure you take a tour and meet staff members first!
