"I am very impressed with the three facilities of Millers Merry Manor that I have visited. My mother is in the one in Peru, Indiana. I can give my best evaluation on that one. At Peru, I find that when I walk in I am greeted somewhere by a member of the staff or several members, on the way to mom's room. Mom is taken care of extremely well. I love the fact that they have what they call quarterly care meetings. She and I attend this with several members of the staff. They check to make certain her nursing care, food, health and activities are what she wants. They ask about things she does not like and the things she likes the most. If she mentions anything at all they are very quick to investigate and resolve any problems. I like very much the way I receive information. They call me if they change her medications, if they change her room, or if she is placed into Physical Therapy. They call me on anything.I am always asked if I agree with the plan or not. The staff is very good to listen. As I said I am very impressed with Peru, IN. I went on interviews at the other facilities which are Marion, IN and Wabash, IN. It was like walking in Peru all over again. The staff was warm and courteous. Even though I was a visitor they cared I was taken care of. I would recommend Millers Merry Manor to anyone who needs nursing care for long or short term care. "

"My mother lived at Blair Ridge in Peru for five years. It is excellent! The care was excellent! The people were so kind and the nursing staff was wonderful. I do not have a bad thing to say about it. The food was fine. They do not put any seasoning on the food, but the residents are offered all kinds of seasoning if they would like to add any. You get a calendar for the month and on it are activities being offered each day. It might be bingo or something else. They have all kinds of games. Before the Coronavirus came around, they took the residents to Clover's or Walmart. They had outside barbeques, picnics and family days where they had bounce houses and all kinds of stuff for the little kids. They even have a putting range right there on the site, where you can play golf. They had a piano and they brought in musicians from the local area. They also had arts and crafts. They had ice cream available whenever they wanted it. They made popcorn about two or three times in the afternoons. It was excellent. Mike was the Director and overall you could always call him any time of the day if you have a problem."

"Wesley Manor is a wonderful environment. The staff are always friendly to visitors and very helpful, and they maintain professionalism at all times. I have visited Wesley Manor and the surrounding homes on several occasions to visit church members there, and they seem to have an excellent experience with the Manor and its staff. Wesley Manor has a swimming pool, bowling alley, and beauty salon, among other amenities, available to Manor residents and to their guests. The Manor also strives to invite community members into its facilities through events like the annual Apple Festival. I have very much enjoyed my visits there, and visits are a great opportunity for both residents and nonresidents to interact with people whom they would seldom see otherwise.The retirement community surrounding Wesley Manor is replete with beautiful, well-maintained homes. Residents in the community enjoy independent living, with the security of the assistance the Manor provides them. Walking the tree-lined streets of the community is always a pleasure, particularly during the Christmas season when many of the trees are lit up for the holidays. In short, both Wesley Manor and the surrounding community are excellent facilities for residents who need the assurance of a full-time medical and maintenance staff but do not desire to be secluded from the rest of the community. "

"My sister placed mom in the Milner Community Health Care Center. We looked it up online, and it was ranked 4.9 over 5 in caregiving, and we thought that looked pretty good. They had a lot of activities for her to do, and she gets out of quarantine on Thursday, and she'll get a roommate. They have FaceTime, all the TVs in the rooms have where you could call the nursing home, and they will hook her up to the TV, and we can actually FaceTime her and talk to her. It's like having face visits, 'cause window visits were OK, but it's hard to look through the window and talk, and she can't hear that well, but she enjoys having FaceTime. They have a wing for quarantining, they test her, and they make sure she doesn't have the virus, and she gets into the regular community, and gets to talk to people. My sister said it's very clean, the people are friendly, and they treat the residents nice, so she was overly impressed with it. They have a sunroom area that they disinfect after each visit, two people can go in at a time and talk to her, after 20 minutes the visiting is up, and they disinfect it for the next family coming in. They feed her her meals, and make sure she's taking her medicines."

It is always very clean and well-organized. The food that is served to the residents is always healthy and well-prepared. The staff are all very caring, friendly, attentive, and patient. The residents are also offered many different individual and group activities to keep them active and engaged. The facility makes a great effort to make visiting and family time very easy and welcomed. My family was quite worried when we had to send him to a nursing home, but we are all very relieved now, as he is very happy and well taken care of here. "CLINTON HOUSE USED TO HAVE A NOT-SO-FAVORABLE REPUTATION BY THE COMMUNITY. AFTER HAVING A RELATIVE LIVING AT CLINTON HOUSE, I CAN SEE THAT OPINION WAS MISLEADING. EVERYONE IS VERY FRIENDLY & CARES FOR THE RESIDENTS. THEY DECORATE FOR HOLIDAYS & HAVE FUN ACTIVITIES PLANNED. THEY HAVE CHURCH SERVICES AVAILABLE & ARE EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH WHEN YOU NEED TO TALK. THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS' FAMILIES AS WELL. I WILL BE CHOOSING CLINTON HOUSE AS MY HOME SOMEDAY WHEN I CAN NO LONGER LIVE ALONE."

"My grandfather recently had a stroke and was sent to the hospital in the ICU unit for a while before being moved to a general area and finally into Millers Merry Manner where he is residing currently. I was only there for a short time but during that time I was able to get a pretty decent feel for the place. The staff seemed pleasant and caring, and was more than willing to assist grandpa anyway that they could. On the surface it appeared to be a very good place for him to be to get his rehab and to have help with all of the everyday things that he cannot currently do himself. The problem is that grandpa claims that it is not as it appears. He has made it known to family that when we leave the staff comes along a lot less often, they are not near as friendly, and although they do continue to help him with everything that he needs, they do so on their time instead of his.With all of that being said, grandpa is a very stubborn and demanding person most of the time, and I feel that no place will meet his standards, and that he is probably over exaggerating the situation. I would rate this place as a 4 out of 5 stars from my experience up to this point, and am curious to see how things go as time goes on. "

"My mom is staying in Colonial Oaks Health & Rehab for rehab. The people have been amazing with her. They've all been very kind and respectful and have put her and us at ease. The therapy people have been great to work with. She likes going to therapy because of how they work with her. The room is small, and all the rooms are. They're shared, and it's not a private room. I don't have any complaints about the upkeep. The food is okay, but it's not that great."
