Lots of Concerns

This is an old outdated facility. There's no showers in the rooms. Staff wears strong perfume which is hazardous to patients with respiratory problems. I have experienced some unacceptable attitudes from staff and observed the same towards residents. The food here is terrible. The kitchen can't seem to grasp the concept of a special diet. Everyone us served the same food, high sugar, high carb meals not good for diabetics. The bathroom smelled like urine. Meds are late. And although it's displayed 24 hour visitation that's not what they practice. I was told I visit too much.

I stayed at Chase Center for one day only, and it was very bad. It was dirty, and it smelled. I did not get my medicine, and they just didn't take care of me right. I didn't like the food. I think they need to improve on everything. Their staff was disrespectful and uncaring.

My grandfather has been a resident at Chase Center in Logansport, IN for just over a year now. He and my family are very pleased with the facility and its staff. It is always very clean and well-organized. The food that is served to the residents is always healthy and well-prepared. The staff are all very caring, friendly, attentive, and patient. The residents are also offered many different individual and group activities to keep them active and engaged. The facility makes a great effort to make visiting and family time very easy and welcomed. My family was quite worried when we had to send him to a nursing home, but we are all very relieved now, as he is very happy and well taken care of here. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is having trouble caring for a parent or loved one.
