My sister is in North Woods Village. It's a much older facility, but the people there are awesome, they have taken very good care of her. She's got lots of health problems since she's been there. She doesn't want to move anywhere else, and I know there are better facilities, because I've looked at them. She likes the people, she likes the nurses, and the higher ups in the facility are concerned and care about her. They do a good job and seem to care about the residents. I've been there a lot, I have never heard the residents complain about their treatment, and I've never observed any kind of abuse. I'm happy with the care they've given my sister. They could make some improvements in the facility as far as they have bathrooms with bathtubs that are never ever used, they need to remove the bathtubs and make those storage closets so that they can eliminate the two little, tiny storage closets they use and make more space for the residents.

I went to North Woods Village, and it was an older facility. It was clean. The staff were friendly, but it didn’t have a good impression on me because they walked us into the dementia unit first, and we saw all these elderly people with dementia; that is not a pretty sight. The rooms are small, and it looks dingy.
