This facility is very good enviroment for those that have no family or friends to visit. The staff are very nice and friendly. However the cleaniness of the facility was rather neglected. Not sure if the clean up crew did not come yesterday because the previous times I have been there I did not notice this. My aunt seems to enjoy it here. She takes pride in doing things herself and the staff really let her keep that pride in assisting her and asking before they do something. She is very stingy about taking her meds and the nurses there walk her thru it every time. My aunt then does not hesitate. She says the food is not to her liking so I sneak her in a cheesburger from Mcdonalds. The staff do not like that and have advised me to stop. She is not on a special diet so I do not see the big deal. This is a good facility and they seem to follow procedures and protocal.

My grandfather recently had a stroke and was sent to the hospital in the ICU unit for a while before being moved to a general area and finally into Millers Merry Manner where he is residing currently. I was only there for a short time but during that time I was able to get a pretty decent feel for the place. The staff seemed pleasant and caring, and was more than willing to assist grandpa anyway that they could. On the surface it appeared to be a very good place for him to be to get his rehab and to have help with all of the everyday things that he cannot currently do himself. The problem is that grandpa claims that it is not as it appears. He has made it known to family that when we leave the staff comes along a lot less often, they are not near as friendly, and although they do continue to help him with everything that he needs, they do so on their time instead of his. With all of that being said, grandpa is a very stubborn and demanding person most of the time, and I feel that no place will meet his standards, and that he is probably over exaggerating the situation. I would rate this place as a 4 out of 5 stars from my experience up to this point, and am curious to see how things go as time goes on.
