"My father is staying in Cardinal Care Strategies. It seems to be a good place, it's very clean. The people seem to be attentive and sincere in wanting to help. It's a good place for him. I haven't tried the food, but he says it's good, and he likes it. For me, it's way out of price, but all these places are so it's no one in particular's fault. At this time, everything seems to be kosher and he's happy. They're good to him and they seem to like him as well, so he's a good fit there."

"I would only use this facility if its a last resort. The smell is terrible and housekeeping is nothing to be proud of. The administration is impossible to reason with. Nursing staff is above average and most aids but several should not be in that position "

It was much cleaner, and the staff was much better than the place where he had been. He was very well cared for there. I ate with them often. It was all good: the staff, the food, and the room. He had a nice roommate, and he was there for a couple of months. I was there for four to five months. I would recommend them to anyone. "

"My Mom's stay in Christian Care Center was a very good experience to us all in the family. They had a complex that handled Alzheimer's. In her last few months, she was very comfortable, and it seemed enjoyable. The staff was outstanding. There were many things for her to do. They let her do the things that they knew she could do, and they made sure to do the things that she couldn't do but needed to be done. The facility was very clean. It didn't have the odor of a nursing home. "

"Westminster Village Muncie Inc. is more of an upscale type of place. It's awesome. They have a nursing home on one section of the place, then assisted living on the other side, and then they also have regular apartments, so it's not necessarily assisted living. It is independent living, but you can also add things to it. If you need someone to take care of your meds and stuff like that, you can add things to that and they'll do it for you. We toured the assisted living side and they also showed us around in the nursing home side, too. We didn't see the independent living side. They showed us the apartment, the outside of it, and stuff for that. But it's all on the same campus. It's incredible. If my dad could afford it, we would go there. It's just beautiful. The grounds are just amazing. They've got these big rooms where they can have a little convention. People come in there, and they can watch movies. They have a gym, they and have medical staff and everything. Both places had medical staff. But, yeah, I mean, it's hard to explain exactly. It's like a resort. We were toured by a nurse, and she took us around and everything, and it was good. She was amazing. She gave us all the answers we needed and things like that and shared as much as she could tell us. It was just a nice tour. The dining area is really good and nice. They have several different areas."

"My grandma has been living here in the assisted living part over a year now and absolutely loves it! She raves about how so many aides, nurses, and housekeepers are extremely friendly, even how quality the meals are! We can also verify the food is good after eating several meals there. It's always a well kept facility and she gets regular baths, etc. You don't hear that often in SNFs. It has a pool, billiards, activities, large rooms. It is a bit pricey to stay here though. Gotta say, GOOD JOB STAFF, keep it up!!"

"My grandfather was a resident at Woodcrest for nearly two years. During that time he experienced diabetic complications and had both legs amputated. After each operation he returned to undergo rehabilitation at the facility. He loved the staff and made friends with other residents. I always found the facility to be clean and cheerful. Several times I volunteered to work bingo games during afternoon activity period. The social director was very dedicated and I believe worked very hard to provide interesting activities. Overall, I believe my grandfather received excellent care and medical treatment. When he was in his last days, the staff was very understanding of our feelings and allowed us leeway in visitations. "
