Do NOT place a Loved one at Persimmon Ridge. My Mother was there for a short period of time and it was a very, very, bad experience for her AND her family. WOW, WHAT A DUMP !! The whole facility, especially the inside of the Building, even inside the rooms are Very Un-clean !! Filthy !! The Food ?? Terrible !! The food IS just plain awful & I would NOT feed it to rats !! The very first night My Mother was there she fell and the woman who called me thought it was funny !!The staff / Nurses were are very immature, very incompetent and unprofessional. They were also, very sarcastic and were just totally uncaring & just incompetent. The Admin. staff ? Even worse. The Admin.Staff do NOT keep other Family members informed, They are very unkind, very unfriendly and very uncaring and Unprofessional. ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE THINKING OF PLACING A LOVED ONE AT PERSIMMON, PLEASE, READ THIS AND STOP. DO NOT PLACE AT LOVED ONE AT PERSIMMON. THANK YOU

Careing Son

Years ago, I promised my parents that I would never place them in a nursing home. I was adopted and felt in my heart that they had made the choice to take care of me, so, I would do the same for them. Mom passed away a few years ago from cancer and with the help of hospice we were able to let her pass away at home. Dad was another story, it came to the point where we could no longer safely provide the care he needed. Persimmon Ridge helped make this sad time as easy as possible for me. The staff in this building from top to bottom are angels and I could never thank them enough for the great care they gave my dad, and the emotional support that they provided me.
