Our experience with moving my mom to Harbour Manor & The Lodge has been fantastic. They were very helpful and very friendly, and they did a lot of work on their end to help make things happen. So it's been very good. The apartment is fairly large, it's like 500 square feet of living space, kitchen area, a separate bedroom, and bathroom. Probably the thing that stands out the most about it is, it has a lot of closets, which is nice. As far as amenities, the building has a pub or coffee shop kind of area. It has a movie theater, it has a game room and it's very nice. She's happy with it, and I don't think she was as happy in previous places that she's been, so that's good.

I liked the layout of Harbour Manor & The Lodge, that it was close to home, and that their pricing was reasonable. It was also clean and everyone was friendly. They stayed late to accommodate my schedule. They had social gathering spaces for the residents. Their rooms were more like apartments, where you had your living and dining area, and then a separate room for your bedroom and bathroom.

Our experience with Harbour Manor & The Lodge was very unpleasant. The staff neglected mom. They kept turning off her oxygen generator when she needed to breathe. They forgot to feed her on at least one occasion. They also forgot to give her medicine, and on at least one occasion, we witnessed them giving her the wrong medicine. They never bathed her the entire time she was there. They said they were going on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but they didn't. Finally, on the last day she was there, someone showered her. Their community was all on one floor. The rooms were large. They were just a little dated. The furniture layout was pretty good and convenient for the resident. The rooms had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a really large bathroom, but they were not taking their residents down to the dining facility. Everybody ate in their rooms and the food was always cold and you had no choice in the food. It was subpar and it was very expensive. They would arrange for an oxygen generator for you (so I'll give them points for that) and they had a festival once when we were there, but mom just couldn't participate in it. Their staff was all staffed by temporary agencies. So, she rarely had them more than once. They didn't know or they didn't care about her and they treated her that way. I would have given them a zero if I could.

Facility-wise, Harbour Manor & The Lodge was very clean and very nice. The rooms they got weren't as big as the rooms that I visited in the other two facilities, but they were still nice. The young lady did a nice job. Her name was Brooke, and I would rate her very high. She's very knowledgeable and very friendly. She toured me to the whole facility. She took me into one of the private rooms and showed me all the different things that they did. They also had a movie room and just about everything the other facilities had.

My aunt moved into the Harbour Manor & The Lodge two weeks ago. Everybody was very helpful, especially Holly, the lady that finds people to come there. She went above and beyond what she needed to do to help us especially during this time. We're very happy with the place so far, and so is our aunt. The room is very nice, and she's happy with the food that they provide. So far, we're very much impressed with them. It's a 1-bedroom apartment, and they call 'em cabins. In the assisted living she's in, I believe there's only one type of room. I know they played bingo, they took residents to see the Christmas lights, and they had some residents helping decorate like the Christmas tree and stuff, and that was during the time we were trying to get her moved in.

I did tour Harbour Manor and The Lodge for my mom, but I can't afford $12000 a month. It is just too much. They're in a good location. They're not the newest or the most up-to-date that I have seen. The one where the memory care unit is and all that, I like the fact that they got enough nurses to keep an eye on the different patients to make sure that they're not neglected. I do like that, but it is just their prices are too high. My dad was in there recuperating from surgery for about two or three months, and so I was able to see how they were able to take care of their patients. The rooms were adequate. They weren't anything fancy, but they're adequate. I can get suite rooms for half a price of what they're charging. Their staff are not always there when you go look for them, but usually they are.

I would like to start by saying harbour manor is a great place for your loved one. The rooms are wonderful. The rehab wing has single rooms with tvs microwave and refrigerator. They also have two dining rooms and an activities room. The staff is wonderful. They are always willing to help where and when they can. From the front desk to the social workers to the business manager to the staff in the kitchen and the cna and nurses. Everyone there is accommidating and caring. I feel very blessed to have my loved one there.

The customer service is great. The nurses are very helpful and are willing to go above and beyond in meeting the needs of my mother in law. The rooms are spacious and are well attended when needed. The food is good and always on time. There are always times that when I feel uncomfortable , the staff is willing to pop in and check on her and help out in anyway they can.

Over the last 5 years, I have had my mother in law and sister in both the Lodge and Manor. As hard as it was for us to place our family in a facility, we couldn't be happier with Harbour Manor. The long term care world is a difficult one to navigate, but I also have felt there was a true passion from so many of the employees here. From the administrator to housekeeping, if there was ever an issue it was addressed promptly. I am so thankful to have these caring people taking care of our loved ones.

The nurses and CNAs are very caring and always helpful. The nurse calls me when there are any issues or things I need to be made aware of. The receptionist, Tonya, is the BEST!! The office staff has always been available to answer questions and address concerns. My moms room is big enough for her things.

Harbour Manor & The Lodge had both assisted living and memory care, and it's connected to a nursing home, but they were in separate buildings. It's an excellent facility, and everything was top notch. However, it was spread out, and it's all on one level, so there's a lot of walking because you have to go from one building to another to get into the memory care. The staff members we met were very good and easy to work with.

My mother began living in the memory care unit and remained there about 6 months until she was no longer a walk away threat as her dementia progressed and became wheelchair bound. I am happy with the care she received and the staff was always letting me know if there was any problems or situations. Naturally some requests or concerns would fall through the cracks, but honestly, the nursing staff seems overworked. I'm not so sure there is enough staff. There are always activities or entertainment. My biggest piece of advice is to remove all jewelry and not leave anything that means something to the family. When it goes missing, it won't come back. My mother was in the nursing home section for another year and a half before she passed away there. Mame, my favorite nurse, kept us updated on what to expect as the end neared and was so very kind to us through those final weeks and days. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was during and finally at my mother's death. Everyone was kind, sensitive, and thoughtful. I would recommend Harbour Manor.

The staff member at Harbour Manor & The Lodge was friendly and right on time. I would give them an excellent score. They did everything for my husband and they were perfect and professional. The food is excellent, they provide excellent care, excellent physical therapy, and they're very timely. My husband was back on his feet quickly, and they were with him every day. I have no complaints about them. He could go to the activity room and they had bingo, card games, outings that he went on -- like to Walmart -- and all of that. This place is so much better than the place he's currently in.

There are many hard working staff members here who work ceaselessly to care for your loved one. They make an effort to get to know your family member. Be an advocate for your family member. Be patient. Understand that staff is grossly overworked and that sometimes requests fall thru the cracks. The food is very good with adequate choices and quality of preparation.

My father is at Harbour Manor & The Lodge. The layout is nice and the appearance is wonderful. It's very welcoming. I've been in contact with the staff and generally speaking, they've been very good. There have been a few lapses from time to time. They have a small library, a happy hour in a bar area every evening, and they have areas for the residents to gather that aren't just the dining area. He seems happy with the food, but he can't eat in the dining area. His food has to be brought to him.

My father is in Harbour Manor & The Lodge. It's really nice and I like it. My father's room is alright to me. They have people that come in to entertain, Bingo, and Bible study. They also have a library.

Harbour Manor looked very nice. I liked the apartment sizes with a separate bedroom, and it has a lot of amenities that my father doesn’t necessarily have. His room currently isn’t as large as what they offer, so that would be something nice for him. It looked very nice and very well-kept -- good attention to details. They have a game room and an exercise room, and they do classes, game time for cards, and a lot of the things that he currently has.

We went to Harbour Manor & The Lodge. It wasn't as homey as the other two places we visited. It seemed like you were on a cruise ship. It was more like a vacation place than a home. The staff was friendly and informative. They served three meals a day. They had three buildings where they had different levels of care.

I had a daughter who spent some rehab time at Harbor Manor. It looked beautiful, but the care was substandard. It's terrible, and I wouldn’t go there for any reason. The staff was not helpful. Outside of the rooms, it looked clean, but they didn't have supplies, and they left everything as it was for two days.

My mother has been a Medicaid resident at Harbour Manor for over a year and has always received the best of care from a very loving staff. There are many activities that she enjoys including bingo, sing-a-longs, story telling, poetry reading, outings, magic shows, Sunday worship, performing musicians and singers and a beauty shop where she gets her hair done every week. Mom is 97 and I visit her at least 3 times a week so if there were problems with resident care, I would have been aware of them by now. And, most importantly, if I thought there was a better facility for Mom than Harbour Manor, I would move her immediately. Mom thrives there, has friends and her mood is always positive. Working in a nursing facility is a very demanding and difficult job where you must love taking care of many residents (and their families!) From my point of view, they deserve a 5 star rating.
