I've already moved into Sanders Glen Assisted Living. I chose it because of the care that they give. The nursing staff is great. Physical therapy is very good. Everybody's friendly and welcoming. It's pretty central to my friends that help me. I like the size of the apartment I'm in. It's very nice, just the right size for me right now. I like the little kitchenette, the small living room, and the small bedroom. I'm recovering from an amputation of my leg below the knee, so I don't need much now. The staff is very nice and very supportive. They care about all the residents. The food is very good and balanced every meal. It's an ala carte line where you get to pick what you want for each meal. They have different classes, watercolor painting class, bible study, and movie night. There's something to do all the time. There's afternoon bingo. You're just not stuck in your room the whole time. There's a lot of different activities. There's something for everybody. It's an older facility, but they've updated it and they've kept it pretty modern. It's a great place. They try to get a variety of different things. Value is great. You get your money's worth. I knew people that had been here before and they loved it. It's really hard to get an apartment here because there's not much turnover. People stay here.

I'm now in Sanders Glen Assisted Living. They have been really, really sweet and helpful, and everyone is friendly. It's been a good experience so far. I've only been here a little bit, and I haven't had a chance to be involved yet, but they have a church service here that I went to on Sundays, and it's very nice. Overall, the food has been good. The staff is very nice. They're very kind and very helpful. I think it's great.

We've decided to leave my dad at the Sanders Glen Assisted Living. The best thing about the place is the care that the people get. The staff is friendly and very kind and loving. He has been there for like six years. The staff is very caring, and professional, and they're on top of things. The food is not well-prepared, there's not a lot of variety, and not as fresh as I would like to see. I would suggest they add more fresh items and more variety, less gravy. They have activities like games and they bring in concerts. They have a gym and a salon, and they have a small courtyard.

I went to Sanders Glen Assisted Living. What impressed me most about that place is the staff. All the staff I talked to, and I talked to maybe four or five as I went through the place, had been there 10 years or more. In other words, they told me that they were happy with their job and with the treatment they get because, in most of those types of places, the staff comes and goes. What impressed me about Sanders Glenn was the longevity of the staff. Secondly, the staff was exceptionally nice even down to the laundry person. The bad thing was the location. It was not a good location. There's no place to walk except on a manmade pathway that they've made for that purpose, but the building was substantial. The rooms were kind of small. It was cafeteria-style serving meals.

My mother used to live in Sanders Glen Assisted Living. It was good, it was not as up to date, or as fancy as her current community but everybody was very nice and they took good care of her. The room was a studio apartment, they have larger ones, but that's just not what she had. The staff was was really good. They went above and beyond, and we're always very helpful, and sometimes, you know, the nurses made phone calls and things like that, which they didn't have to make to stay in touch with me, and that was all very good. I don't know anything about the food there. They have a library, they've got a TV room, a small theater area, and a craft and activity area.

My mother-in-law was in Sanders Glen Assisted Living and it was very good. She was close to the nurses' station and to the dining area. The staff were very good and very pleasant. They had a bus, and they would go out to eat, took them to Walmart, they played bingo, and they had people come in and sing; they had all kinds of things. It was clean but it is older and needs an update.

The experience at Sanders Glen is very good so far. The rooms are fine, but the decorations could be updated. The two-bedroom is spacious enough for one person, but the one-bedroom is a little snug. The food is OK. The price is very good. The location is great. They have a lot of good enough activities. Security seems adequate.

I was very pleased with Sanders Glen, and as a matter of fact, we pointed out that particular place to our son and said this is a nice place. If they want to put us in a place, let us come here. The rooms were adequately sized. We were very pleased with the size of the rooms. They were playing dominos and cards when we were there.

My mother was a resident of Sanders Glen for 2 years when her health needs exceeded the services provided. The care she received was superb! The staff is caring, compassionate, patient, professional and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Sanders Glen.

We knew about the place through word of mouth. The facility was so beautiful! It's a very nice place. People were great. They took us around and they even told us that we could bring mom into a private lunch so she could sample the food. The food was very impressive. We chose this facility because it's very close to where we live, and also close to where my husband works. We talked to a lot of residents and they loved it there. I like the fact that they kind of tailor the assisted living to what you want. If you want somebody to come and help shower, if you wanted help getting dressed, you can, but if you don't, you don't have to have that. They also have free laundry. They come and clean the apartment twice a month. Their food includes three meals a day which most facilities only include one.. You can also get 3 smaller meals or snacks in their cafeteria. We just really like this place. It's really great.
