My mother has been a resident in the Independent Living at The Reserve of Hamilton Trace for nearly 3 years. The facility is well maintained and the staff are exceptional. They have been great at keeping me informed of special circumstances that they know I'd be interested in. The activities offered are appropriate for the age of the residence and the staff are exceptional with the residents and families. I highly recommend that you put The Reserve on your list to check out for independent senior living.

I toured Hamilton Trace. I like the facility itself. I like the apartments, I like what they have to offer, and I like the price. I mean, there's a big difference in price with these communities that I found. There can be thousands of dollars. I liked the way they toured me and showed me everything. There was nothing undisclosed. I had questions and they answered all the questions. So, I thought they did a good job in touring me.

Hamilton Trace was very nice and lovely. The tour was wonderful. The staff was truly amazing. She did a very good job. The rooms were a little small. No problems with upkeep or maintenance. We had a meal there and it was very nice. The service was excellent. There were no problems. The reason we didn't go there is because they don't have attached garages and we needed an attached garage. The food is very good. The dining area was roomy and very pretty.

I loved Hamilton Trace and everything about it. I liked the attention that they gave to their residents. They had activities going on when I was there, which I thought was nice. Since a lot was going on and the residents were moving around, it didn't bother me that the rooms on the memory care side were much smaller than I thought they would be. The dining area was very nice. The staff who helped me tour the place was excellent. They were very nice and very accommodating.

The rooms at Hamilton Trace were small but decent. The staff was good. Everybody was friendly. Everybody was kind. The marketing people that I talked to were very compassionate, nice, and helpful. They came highly recommended to me by several people. The intake people were especially good, informative, honest, and open about what was available and what wasn't. They didn't have a room available and they were honest with me about that, but I told them that I'd still like to see the place and they took me and they were very cooperative. They're very popular so it's hard to get in. They had lots of activities.

Hamilton Trace is very welcoming. It's very nice, neat, and clean. The room is very nice and adequate. The kitchen is very nice. I like some of the features they had like the pull-open drawers. It was a pantry, but the shelves could be pulled out rather than squatting down to dig. I think that's an important feature. The staff was all very helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant.

My mom has only been in Hamilton Trace for a little while now, but so far I'm happy with it. They've been very, very accommodating. She had to go there for rehab, and then they got us an apartment. She can also transition to assisted living when she needs it. They've been really, really helpful, very communicable to us, and it's been a good experience through the process of all of it. The rooms are very nice and clean. They have a puzzle room, a game room, and a movie room. They have exercise, mass and church services. They have a nice dining room, they have a bus that takes them some places, and activities. They have games that they can play, and they have hairdressing. Right now, she is in independent living. She has been there for rehab three times, and we plan on moving her to assisted living as needed. The food is good; it's great. I've eaten with her three times in two weeks. It's too big a portion. Activities are a five and the yoga is unbelievable. The value for the money is fine; it's really good.

I went to visit Hamilton Trace. It was mostly for independent living, but they have the other levels of care, as well. It was nice, it was a lovely place, but it was beyond our budget, so that was a big factor in our decision. It's also very big. My grandmother is in a bigger facility now, and we don't think that that's a good fit for her. The staff was great. I worked with Rachel, and she was very nice and very accommodating. She set us up for a Saturday appointment so my husband could come with me, which was very nice. We walked through the facility, but we didn't meet anybody else or any residents. The apartments were gorgeous; they were kind of unique in their layout. They have extra bathrooms for their one-bedroom apartments, and they have a bath and a half. The apartments were big, and I really liked them. They were also kind of redoing some apartments. We went to see the dining room, but it wasn't really open because we were there on a Saturday morning. It was nice and big, too. The place is also in a great location.

I would never recommend or return to this place. Horrible staff other than a few nurses> The upper Management is horrible. CarDon has taken peoples golden years and turned there own pockets to gold. The real shame is the big business of it all over shadows the quality of care! Furniture is worn out and broken. The activities are good if you can find your own way there don't ask them to help.

We chose Hamilton Trace for my mother-in-law, and so far she is extremely happy with where she's at. The staff takes her blood pressure, checks her heart, and makes sure she's eating her meals. They clean her apartment; she's in a 1-bedroom. They play bingo, cards, and there's always a jigsaw puzzle ready to be put together. On Friday nights they have live music, and it's quite nice. They also have a rehab area.

The facilities are nice as are the staff. There is a lot of turn over here and next to no communication with family. We are here daily and it takes 3 days or more to get an answer on anything. They change and administer medication without family consent. They say they will do things and then they do not. We have had 3 weeks to experience this. When touring the facility they say there are always x number of staff. It is not true. The weekends have hardly anyone here. The nurses and aids are overworked as there are not enough staff to go around. The food is rarely what is ordered in advance. They also say they respond quickly to call lights. We have been here waiting over 30 minutes multiple times. The best thing I can say is that the rehab staff come every day and do a nice job.

Hamilton Trace had the best amenities for assisted living. It's where my mom will probably go when it's time to move her. She'll go from assisted living to a Medicaid room, and it offers the most privacy. The staff who toured me was extremely accommodating, understanding, and very easy to work with. They had a lot of opportunities for outings as well as activities. The only part I didn't like was that the assisted living didn't integrate with the rest of the facility, so it was a little more segmented.

Hamilton Trace was a really nice facility and I was very pleased with it. The caregivers do their job very well. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment with a kitchen. They have a barber shop, a cafeteria, and a theater. The staff was really nice.

Hamilton Trace was fine, but it's not what we're looking for. It's a good tour, and we enjoyed it. The staff was very cooperative, informative, and well prepared for our visit. The rooms were just fair. We were looking at the apartments. The activities and amenities were adequate as far as I could tell.

I went to Hamilton Trace. They wanted to sell me on independent living because that is what they had available. Their independent living area was very nice, but my mother needs assisted living and they didn’t have an area for that. The ceilings were low and although the hallways were wide, I did not get a nice feeling about it. They really didn’t have open spaces, and you felt like you were walking down the school hallway and there were classrooms as opposed to activity rooms, which was not a very inviting situation. It looked like an institutional nursing home. The staff member was nice and willing to share her time. She was very energetic and did her job well. They need to take off the glass windows in their activity rooms that are open to the corridor and leave the whole room open; at least widen the opening. The rooms looked comfortable, but they seemed very dark to me. They had a lot of paneling and, for being a new facility, it looked old because of the paneling.

I visited The Reserve at Hamilton Trace and think it is outstanding. The apartments were just like regular apartments but smaller and did not have garages. They just built i, so that's why it's so nice. The place was super, had a nice dining hall, and had activities and transportation. They had it all.

Couldn't be happier! My mother moved in here almost two months ago and she and I very pleased. All of the staff members are super friendly and they actually keep an eye open to see if people are participating in activities or going to the restaurant for meals - not to be nosy but out of concern that the resident is enjoying his/her self and doing okay. There may seem to be few people around the facility but that is because residents are often in the activity rooms or out on group trips or enjoying a nap or some TV in their apartments. Many residents are "young" and have their own cars and so leave the Reserve during the day themselves. The residents that I have met are all really nice. I'm there several times a week and the complex is always clean and safe and very inviting. Before moving in, my mother was concerned the apt. would be too small but now she says she could have rented a smaller one! My brother-in-law is now considering moving to the Reserve also.

Grandmother was recently at Hamilton Trace after a stroke (may-july). Therapist and activities went above and beyond to get her back living independently as well as making sure she was active in some of the community activities and holiday events offered. I haven't seen my grandmother that full of life in quite some time. Very pleased with all the amenities. Will definitely be back in the future if needed.

The Reserve at Hamilton Trace was a-OK. I didn't see any action there with the residents. It just didn't seem like a very active community, which is what I was looking for. I saw one room and thought it was very small. The price was right, but it just didn't suit me. It was one place that didn't appeal to me.

I have been to Hamilton Trace for rehab. It was a wonderful experience. People were very nice. The dining room was not so nice, but the food was good. I was in an apartment for a month to see if I could get settled in. They have a new building that just opened up with independent living. They had good activities, and the people were very friendly. The only thing they could improve on maybe is therapy.

We moved my mother into The Reserve at Hamilton Trace. It is a phenomenal facility. Everything I see is clean, and there isn't a buy-in. She has an apartment with one bedroom and a kitchen. The activities are plenty and include movie nights in their movie theater, art, and people who come in to do presentations. They have all kinds of stuff and also go on field trips. They have a phenomenal restaurant. The facilities are fantastic. I want to move in there. They have a gym and laundry in the apartments or huge washers and dryers for free in a hall. I already recommend them to family and friends because of the reasons I mentioned.

Services and level of care has to be followed up every day. Infections happened inside the facility, reported the wounds to the staff many times before they saw it or provide medical care. Physicians rarely visit the facility.

The staff at The Reserve was impeccable. They’re professional, compassionate, very accommodating, and make you feel very much at home. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and range from small one-bedrooms to very large two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms. You can have rentals on a month-to-month basis which is why we are there; there’s no buy-in, unless you choose to build a cottage there. They have a chef from a top-notch restaurant in the area, and the cafeteria is open to the public as well, so you can go in and just purchase food directly from off the street. They have monthly parties, personal trainers, painting class, bridge clubs, other card clubs, and everything else you can possibly imagine. However, the one-time maintenance fee is pretty steep.

I recently looked at Hamilton Trace. I thought it was well-staffed. It had many activities. They seemed to be well-cared-for. As far as I can tell, the staff seemed to be knowledgeable. What I noticed was that they seemed to be very aware of what the responsibilities were with the other people that they were working with. They seemed to be organized. There was no confusion or that kind of thing. It was in an upscale and very safe area. It was easy to go to. It was right off a major interstate. If the people were out of town, it was accessible. The neighborhood was a very nice surrounding. I saw the activities list, and it was very similar to what I had seen at various other facilities as well. However, I cannot speak on the actual quality of the activities and how well they were run, but it looked like they had substantial offers in terms of the activities, and kept the people in the assisted area engaged in the community. At this point, based on the information that I had, I would probably make a recommendation for them to certainly look at it. I thought it was a very viable option.

I didn't take a tour of Hamilton Trace. I just went to see a friend who was there for rehab. Her room seemed very clean. The nurses checked her out, and they were really nice and caring. She only had one nurse. Everything seemed fine to me, and she was happy.

My mother chose Hamilton Trace. She used it because there are washers and dryers in the room, and that’s the only reason. She is 94, and I think she does a tiny little bit of washing everyday and I don’t know what she washes. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t see a lot of residents wheeling about like the other places. I think most of their activities were on the second floor, so we didn’t see a lot of people because they are on the second floor than on the first floor like the places, so it’s hard to judge, but the rooms were nice, and they had plenty of activities. We saw people going out to activities, but the reason my mother selected it is because of the washer and dryer and the cost was right. It was newer than the other two, and I don’t think it had as much homey feeling as the other two, but then that was me.

Hamilton Trace was very nice. This one did not have a unit available at that time of our visit but we did have lunch there and it was very good. They have a nice dining room with waiters and waitress. It was very well done.
