"Cumberland Trace was a very clean and very organized place. All the people seemed to be happy and content. The lady who toured me around was very helpful and she had all the information that I asked for. She showed me a nice little apartment. The dining area was clean and situated nicely so that even if you had to use your walker or wheelchair, it would be easy to get to and through. They have several things that they do every week and then they have special things that they arranged for them to do. They were playing bingo when we were there and on the list of schedules was a museum trip and movie nights in their common room."

"My father is living in Prairie Lakes Health Campus and everything seems fine. They're very good. It's quiet and pleasant. Everybody is nice. It's easygoing. They could use some pointers on the food, but it's good. He says it's fine and he's not starving. They're just inconsistent. They need to warm the plates and they need to cook the vegetables a little more. The staff is wonderful. The nurses and the administrative people are all really good. I haven't met one I didn't like yet."

"Facility is nice my Aunt was there for a year. Then I had to find another place to take her. Southpointe does not have a memory care unit. There are so many people that need a place. Would have been nice that they had one there."

"My uncle was in Allisonville Meadows for rehab; he loved it and didn't want to leave. The staff was very caring, understood him, and was able to figure out how to interact with him. He enjoyed physical therapy and wanted to hang out in that area. They had a huge fish tank that he really enjoyed watching, and fireplaces. His room was comfortable."

"My dad is at Miller's Senior Living Community. I like it. It's an older looking facility, but it's well taken care of. Everything is very clean and I noticed there's a lot of help. The staff has been helpful, very nice, very pleasant, and really willing to answer any questions we had. My dad likes the food too. He's a picky person, but he's very happy with it. If he didn't like it, he wouldn't say anything good about it. They have the rehab room, and he goes in there to do his rehab and stuff. Their rooms are also big. They are well taken care of, very clean, and very nice. The staff is very easy to work with, and very friendly. I even get calls daily about anything that's happening to my dad. So, they keep me well informed of what's going on."

"My mom has moved into Clearvista Lake. It is new and it looks good. The staff members are OK, but they have issues responding to the call button sometimes. The dining area is roomy and clean. My mom is there for physical therapy so that's her activity. There's a beauty salon. Out in the main entrance, the cafeteria is right next to it. The room is spacious. It is just a normal room with a large bathroom, window, TV, nightstand, and closet."

"My dad's rehab was here after hip replacement surgery. Staff was very quick with his needs and therapy was good at keeping him motivated. They gave him therapy exercises he could do at home which I really appreciate."

"My mom is in Kindred. My mom likes it there. They do a good job. My mom's room is clean. It has enough room for two beds and each on have a little bathroom and a sink just like in a hospital. They have doctors and nurses there. The doctors come once a day to check them. The food is fine. It is like cafeteria food. I guess they can improve on the speed in going to things when the patient needs something, but there's always somebody needing something. "

"I have no idea why Medicaire has given this wonderful center such low marks. My Dad has been at McGivney for over 2 years after having been at 3 others in the Indianapolis area. In my opinion, there is just no better place for my father to be. All the staff is wonderful--and the ones who have not been, are no longer there. The Center's management is excellent, above reproach, and always available if you have anything to discuss. All matters have been handled in a very professional way and ALWAYS in the best interest of the resident. To sum up...I truly couldn't be happier with the care and camarderie receives at McGivney Health Care Center "

"Westminster was very nice. The receptionist was very professional, and they had a very nice lobby. They gave me a tour of the dementia area, in which each room had a shower, and it was out of this world. There weren't any people sitting out in the hall; they were all busy doing something. It was the most outstanding of the eight homes I visited. "

"My mother who is in her 90s and nearly blind has been at Bridgewater for about 2 months. When she arrived, she was unable to hold her head up, had no motion in her left arm, was weak on the left side, and had issues swallowing as a result of a stroke. The therapists are incredible. The fantastic speech therapist has worked with her on chewing and swallowing and that is completely normal now. She even has Mom singing. The wonderful occupational and physical therapists have the fingers on her left hand moving and she can make a fist. They are getting her up in a wheelchair every day, she can hold her head up for hours, feed herself and brush her hair. The progress is remarkable given her prognosis. The nursing staff is responsive and caring. The social worker and people in the business office have been so helpful with dealing with medicare and insurance. The transportation director has gone above and beyond in arranging transportation to medical appointments. The activities director takes her to activities and has her connecting with church activities on a tablet. The facility is clean and beautiful. "

"Carmel Health & Living Community was pretty good and didn't smell. The restaurant was nearby. The rooms were clean, and the appliances were good. I was treated well while I was there."

"What we liked about The Forum at the Crossing was it was a relatively large community with good options for their fitness center for the people of that age, as well as a spacious dining room and patio, and an area for gardening. We went with the idea of having the independent care with the option to go into various levels of assistance. Their staff was really helpful. "
