My mother moved into Majestic Care of Carmel. They do a great job of securing the facility and taking care of the residents and keeping it clean. They're very caring there. When she has needs, they respond very well. The staff has been great. They're very responsive. When there's a particular need, they act immediately. They're wonderful. She only gets meal service on a very limited basis. She only gets it as she needs it. Most of the time, she's fixing her own meals in her room because she has a full kitchen. They do specific holiday gatherings and events, and games. They have had entertainers that come and perform. And so, they've been very pleased with the entertainers and with the activities.

I understand these are tough times and many facilities are understaffed; but that is not my elderly Fathers fault. I grew extremely tired and offended by aides complaining that they were not going to come into his room and help him - or that it wasn’t their job. All the facilities talk a good game when they are trying to admit you; but once you are there, their enthusiasm and helpfulness disappears quickly (I also include that call buttons being out not just once but multiple times during his six weeks living there That also goes for those staff members in management of the nursing and higher up not giving progress updates on patients. If You have any other options, go there first.

If you are looking for a clean and safe place for your loved ones to recover, I highly recommend Majestic Care. My dad had a severe heart attack and was in the hospital for 7 weeks. We had to choose a rehab facility for him to go to before coming home. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. It is being remodeled so everything is crisp and new. The second thing was the staff. They were so friendly. From Jan who greeted us at the front door daily to the nursing staff to the physical and occupational therapists. I know that people can have terrible experiences at places like this but I have nothing but praise for how well they took care of my dad and how kind and accommodating they were to the residents. Thanks to everyone at Majestic Care for the hard work you do! My dad is home now and doing great.

Majestic Care of Carmel Assisted Living was very nice. They have a lot of amenities. They're undergoing a major renovation in the entire building. They've been doing a very good job of upgrading the rooms, the common areas, and the dining area. They're doing everything they said they would do. The staff members were very friendly. Everyone spoke to us, introduced themselves, and told us what they did as we walked by. They have craft rooms, game rooms, a theater, a library, and sitting areas. We're looking at a two-bedroom, two bath with a kitchen. We saw the food and it smelled good. The dining area was being completely renovated. We saw it where it was about probably 80 percent done, and they were doing a really nice job. I don't know if they're expanding it, but they have really brightened it up, there were lights, and they were putting down new carpeting and new flooring. Upkeep and maintenance looked very good from what we've seen. They have a schedule of activities that they put out every month with everything that's going on each day and where it's located. They also published a menu for the month. They seemed to have good staff there, and it looked like they were well covered.

Please look for another place. Help not given. Response time incredibly long. Basic needs not met here. Trash not emptied, beds not changed, dirty laundry left to pile up and smell. Bathroom stinks. Food leaves much to be desired. Thoroughly disappointed with this facility!

My mom is here. I am really happy with the service that we are getting there. They are very caring people. It has been really a good experience so far. They have a library, a room for church services, and an activity center where people can do crafts, puzzles, and different projects that they want to do. The amenities are very nice. They have several dining rooms for different wings. The food is average. They are doing a good job and seem to be interested in helping the residents.
