My wife and I just moved here to Sunrise on Old Meridian in April. We like that it is in a great location. It is a very nice facility with all the amenities and just a good quality place to live in. The only thing we do not like is the restrictions brought about by COVID. We do not have access to family guests and visits. Hopefully, things will change soon. It is not the fault of the facility though. We have arts and crafts. There is a movie channel that you can watch either in the theater room or in your apartment. There are good walking areas outside. There are a number of good areas where you can get some fresh air and walk or sit and enjoy the sundown on nice days. They also have the standard things: a beauty salon, a library, and all that stuff. The unusual thing they have is if you beer and wine. If you like a beer or glass of wine for dinner, you just tell them, and they will have it at no extra charge.

I toured Sunrise on Old Meridian. I was impressed. It had a home feel to it, like a home away from home feel to it. I like the level of care. It had that high level and high standard of care from what I could tell. It was very clean and very classy looking. The people that I saw were friendly.

I toured Sunrise on Old Meridian. I really liked their apartments. The one thing that stood out to me the most is that each living quarter has its own washer and dryer. I very much like that. The other thing that I very much liked is that in the studio they have a large walk-in closet. In both the one-bedroom and the studio they have large bathrooms, and I really liked that. The one-bedroom was absolutely beautiful, too. The young lady that gave me the tour was very efficient. She did a wonderful job. And I also got to meet the lady who actually started up the facility. She's the one who had it built, and she was a lovely lady. They were wonderful. When I stepped in I did not feel the same as I did when I went into the other place. To me it had a little more of a business look about it because it has a lot of beautiful dark wood as you enter, but the rooms were just fabulous. The one-bedroom was empty. It was furnished, but no one was living there, and it was absolutely beautiful. Actually, you wouldn't have known you're walking into an apartment, you would think you're walking into a condo or something like that. It was that beautiful.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was very cozy. We checked out the memory care and it was not nearly as appealing or warm as the other two facilities we saw. You would have to share a room with somebody else. I did not like that you were going to share the bathroom and the kitchenette area with your roommate. They had wonderful people though.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was homey and welcoming. The community liaison was very thorough, and she followed up consistently. I liked that independent living, assisted living, and memory care was in the same wing of the same building. The rooms were spacious, clean, and inviting. I saw a studio but it was too small for what I was looking for. They had a variety of rooms but I didn't get to see them because they were occupied. They had a courtyard with flowers, a coffee bar with snacks, community postings on what activities were coming up, and outdoor experiences. The aesthetics of the place were pleasing, well-kept, and clean.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was wonderful. Katie was lovely. She answered all my questions, gave me a very thorough tour, and introduced me to the staff. So, it was great. It was a beautiful facility. It was very clean and updated. It's a relatively new building (eight years), so it's light-filled with big windows. It's a friendly place.

My wife is in Sunrise on Old Meridian. It seems fine. They sweep her room once or twice a week, so it's pretty clean. They have word games, music, sing-alongs, and bingo, which are all voluntary. They have a varied food menu. They always have alternatives like cheese sandwiches, mac and cheese, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and fish. They bring the food up to the floor and they have a kitchen downstairs, so if there's anything on the menu that they don't have upstairs, they'll go down and get it from the kitchen. The staff is very kind and responsive. There's a couple of pull switches in the room that they can just pull and wait for the caregivers to come and help them out. They have a schedule where they check everybody every two hours to make sure they're OK or help them use the restroom. For the most part, the staff really does a good job. They're very well equipped.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. It was just not in the price range that we could afford. The rooms were wonderful, very adequate, and furnished very nicely. I saw a library. The whole facility was excellent.

Sunrise wasn't the flashiest, but it seemed to be very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. They had good communication between the staff and the clients, and as well as the clients' families. They paid attention to you. The one-bedroom seemed spacious and had good lighting with the window. The studio was nice, had a little kitchenette when you first walked in, and had a decent-sized bathroom.

I did visit Sunrise on Old Meridian. They had separate places for the independent and the assisted living. I just thought they were a little too pricey and too picky. I would not recommend it. It was too big. The rooms were extremely nice, very nice, and just big enough for what you need.

I visited Sunrise on Old Meridian. I liked the people most of all. The staff was just super friendly. I thought the space was really accommodating even though my parents were used to a really large home. I believed that was the one with a washer and dryer in that area. That was a good thing. The way they had the two-bedroom set-up -- one on each side of their living spaces -- was really nice. My dad still drives, and I liked the fact that he could have an underground parking spot so we wouldn’t have to worry about putting off the car in winter. They seemed to have a planned activity for them each day. I knew that they had games and puzzles. They had an art station, and the day we were there, they were working on arts. I was there on another time when they were doing the rock-a-thon using a rocking chair for a fund raiser. They had a library they could go into. They had movie nights. I knew they had a popcorn room, and they could go in there and enjoyed that. They offered to drive the residents. They could have appointments and things arranged too. They had a good outdoor walking place. They had a little gazebo out front where they could sit.

I enjoyed my visit to Sunrise on Old Meridian, and I liked they had a dog there to greet you; that makes it more personal even though it's a fairly large place. Aesthetically, I like the look of it with the decorations and everything. The other parts of the building looked nice, and everybody was pleasant. I was impressed. They do all the meals, and they had a full roster of activities throughout the day including the weekends.

I’ve got my mom in Sunrise on Old Meridian. They’ve been very well as far as I’m concerned. The quality of the facility was very nice, the food service seemed to be very good, and it essentially had everything that I was looking for.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was definitely okay, but it was farther away. The staff was fine. We got the attention and information that we needed.

We visited Sunrise. I liked them. I just thought the entrance fee was exorbitant. However, they were also very nice. They were equal to the place we chose, but their entrance fee was $5,000, which I thought was outrageous. They could improve on lowering their entrance fee and they would probably have more people in there. I thought the staff was straight forward.

The apartments were very nice. Sunrise on Old Meridian was more of a closed living situation where there were a lot of walls and hallways, so it's not a very open place, but the apartment itself was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. The residents seemed very active with lots of activities to participate in. The dining room looked very similar to other places where you can have meals provided throughout the day, which looked pretty good. Costs were a little high; I think the upfront costs along with the monthly costs were a little higher compared to some of the other facilities. It was an older facility, too; it wasn't new, so perhaps some renovations can be done.

Our experience so far at Sunrise of Old Meridian has been very delightful. The friendliness of the residents was just overwhelming. They are very gracious and sincere. We selected this place because I have lymphoepithelioma, and the hallways are not as long. They also had a unit available for us near the dining room. We feel that this is the place that we should be. Our room is very nice. They repainted and carpeted the whole unit before we came in. Their food is very good.

Sunrise was a top-notch facility. They definitely had secure measures in place for the residents. It’s extremely clean and had all of the amenities that an elderly person would want or need, but being in Carmel, it was more expensive.

I moved mom three weeks ago to Sunrise on Old Meridian. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Mom says they’re taking care of her all the time. The rooms are adequate, and the windows are very big. She is actually able to see out, see activity like people and cars moving around, and she likes that. She did not complain about the food. They have all kinds of programs of good variety.

My mother was in Sunrise for almost three years. The room was spacious. The staff, apart from a couple individuals, was very poor. There was minimal interaction with the residents and not in the same way that they should have. The food was tailored to the residents. They had more patients that were ambulatory, and they took them in buses to go outside in the neighbourhood.

Sunrise on Old Meridian was a very nice and a very upscale facility. The people were very friendly, and definitely very interested in the well-being of their residents. They're very welcoming to me. The food was excellent and the dining room was very nice. They have 4 or 5 activities every day. They actually have the residents decide what they want to do; anything really goes. It was very homey and welcoming. It's definitely an excellent quality for its price.

We got to check Sunrise on Old Meridian for my mother. It was very nice but a little smaller in terms of capacity of units. It was a four-story building with underground parking. They both had independent living and assisted living facilities. It got a hotel feel to it because of it being in a four-story building. Their dining room was small, it felt more compacted though they had nice furniture. There also were smaller pockets of little sitting areas and dens. If you have guests, you can go down and sit in the sitting area. We actually got the chance to see both one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. I actually liked the room's lay out. I liked the size and the closet space. It was very nice with more of a nicer condo appeal to it. Their staff was very friendly as well and this was primarily the assistant marketing director that we met there.

When we visited this facility the first thing I noticed was how nice the outside looked. Everything seems well landscaped and that landscaping is well maintained. The outside of the building is also very well taken care of. When we went inside we were immediately greeted in a very friendly manor. The look and upkeep of the interior matches the exterior. We were shown a few different rooms are areas. All very well taken care of and somewhere I would be willing to live myself. They have on hand staff to cater to many different needs and many different activities for the elderly. They location is great and located near many different stores and restaurants. Everyone there seems very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered every question we had, gave us information to take home with us and also a number to call, in case we thought of any other questions. I would feel very secure knowing my family was in a place like this.
