I must say this building is very nice but the medical staff is very unprofessional. You see nurses and Aids just sitting on their cell phones while lights and alarms are going off. You have people sitting that smell like urine and not getting cleaned. The food is wonderful but not always hot. The people that do activities are running around ferrinf people asking if people want to go and yet nursing is just sitting.

My mom is at Marion Rehab. The place is clean, and she enjoys with the people that she is living there with. Their meals are good, and they do have activities that she participates in. Overall, it’s all positive.

My mother is a patient at Marion Rehabilitation. The staff is very, very nice, friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are very comfortable, inviting, and very clean. I have eaten there with my mother. The food is excellent. The dining room is unlike anything I have ever seen in any other long-term care or rehabilitation facilities. They have several small dining rooms and they serve you restaurant style. When you go the dining room, each patient and guest receives a menu and you get to choose from two entrees. They have waiters, so to speak. The food is very good. It doesn't taste institutional. They also have a little café where they offer different things everyday and it stays opens until 2 p.m. What I like best about this facility is that it is so well-maintained. The staff is very professional. I like the way they pull together for the well-being of their patients. They are very, very active in things that they do. They have a lot of different activities. They have people who come in and sing. They have activities that entertain the residents and they also have ice cream socials. They take the residents out into town for different types of activities and shopping. My mother is very happy there. She really does well there and it makes her family very happy and thankful that she receives so much good care. They're very, very good. My mother loves it there.

Marion Rehab was a much newer facility. I like that they have their own physical therapy department. Their rooms were very nicely arranged and were larger in fact. I did not meet the staff but the one who gave us a tour, I think she was one of the directors. They also have activities for their residents.
