I've been here at Traditions at North Bend for 2 years now. It is a nice place and they have good food. My room is a studio and I have a little refrigerator, my bed, a big couch, a dresser, 2 nightstands, and a big-screen TV set. I have a really wide bathroom, which you could get in easily enough. My wheelchair has enough room to move around in there. They have an exercise room and I try to go down there every day and work out for 20 minutes a day. I usually go out once a week to go somewhere. They have a big bus and they take you wherever you want to go. They come around once a week to clean my place. Most of the staff are pretty good. There are a couple I don't like too well because they get snotty with you. They think they need to do it all their way. You do it their way or they're not going to do it for you. They play bingo. Every Thursday, they take us to Walmart. During the summer months, they take us to an ice cream place.

My father has been there for almost 6 months and we cannot get anyone to change his sheets every week as we were advised they would be when he moved in. They lost one set and he slept on the plastic mattress cover several times as they did not put a fitted sheet on the bed. Since he has memory issues we are very worried there may be other things being neglected that we don't know about.

I had an in-person tour of the Traditions at North Bend. I like it. They allow residents the opportunity to have social interaction with others but also have alone time if they need it in their rooms. The aides ensure that the residents are getting what they want out of their days, so it isn't like a structured schedule. The rooms are nice sizes, like a studio of 500 to 600 square feet. I like that they have outside therapy services that come in so that if residents want to get some extra exercise, then they can do that.

I moved into Traditions at North Bend. The facility is very pretty. This is an outstanding building. The staff is wonderful. They are attentive and very kind. The apartment is nice. I enjoyed the whole experience. They have a library. The food is great. The cafeteria is run by a chef. You sit down at a table, and a waitress comes to you and asks what you want. They bring food to you. They also do room service if you need it. I know they have movies and a lot of activities. I do have physical and occupational therapy, and they're amazing. It's a good value. This is a great place, and I was so lucky to get in here.

Traditions at North Bend is fairly new. It's clean, large and very spacious. They have very nice single rooms. I even have a free meal card if I try to go over and have a meal with them. They offered me a meal card to come in and sit and talk with them. They took me through the whole building and showed me all the different areas where they work with people. The people seemed to be happy. I like their program. They went over their program to keep the people busy and not sitting. They said that the rooms were all about the same because we just stuck to the first floor. The person who toured me was fine. He was the director. He was very knowledgeable and interested.

We moved my mother to Traditions at North Bend because we very much like the facility. So far, the staff is pretty good. I haven't had the food but my mom says it's fine and she seems to like it. She likes the hair salon, and the library. They also have an outdoor patio; it's very nice. In terms of the upkeep, the place looked very nice and it's about a minute away from the hospital.

Traditions at North Bend was very modern, bright, and clean. The rooms were large and set up nicely as well as the bathrooms. We loved it. The dining area was bright and very spacious. They have a salon, a pub/bar area, a library, and a workout room. It was nice and the people were very friendly.

My mom will be moving to Traditions at North Bend tomorrow. She will be in their assisted living. It's a very nice building, and fairly new at only a year and a half old. The rooms are spacious, she's going to be in a studio, and very nice. They offer plenty of activities. They also have a salon, a chapel, and an exercise room. They offer other services too and the staff is also very friendly. The studio, I believe, is 400 square feet. It has several kitchen cabinets, dark-colored, very nicely done, and with nice fixtures. They have a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room. It's half carpeted and then half laminate flooring. It offers big windows for light, a nice-size clothes closet, and high ceilings. The bathroom is extremely large with a very large walk-in shower and lots of safety bars. It has a very accessible handheld shower wand and an adjustable seat. It also has plenty of room to move around there with plenty of closet space for towels and necessities. The dining area is very, very nice. It's got a fireplace right in the middle as you walk in the place. That's what you see straight ahead, they've got a fire going. A lot of times, people are very cold so it was just a very nice setting. It's like a circular setting all around the fireplace and from what I could see, there's plenty of seating, lots of windows with light, and you could see outside to the landscaping through the courtyard and it's very nice. They have several places to sit like chairs, rockers, and tables. It's also fenced off and it's just very nicely done. It's U-shaped and my mom's room would be at the other end. She's able to walk with a walker but they also have benches everywhere in the hallway where they can sit down if they need it. They also have a very nice laundry room on-site where they could do their own laundry or someone can do the laundry for them. I met some of the other people on the staff as well. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about answering questions and giving the tours. We took a tour twice for my mom because she had more questions and wanted to see the room again. They were fine with that and were very gracious. They asked for things that my mom might like, like a welcome package for her. They even sent her a wreath for her door, they baked her some sweets, and they came to her present address and delivered them to her to welcome her into the community, so they've been wonderful. They also helped with the paperwork, which there were lots and lots of papers to fill out, and they answered all of our questions.

Traditions at North Bend was a beautiful place, but the rent started at $5,000. For independent living, for one person, it was $5000 a month, but everything was included and then your spouse was an additional $2700 a month and that didn't make sense to me. They do everything. They cook your meals, and they bring your meals to you, but you pay to have your laundry done. You name it, they had it. Everything was immaculate. They've got nice, spacious rooms. Everything was handicap accessible. There's just no way we could afford that. It's a beautiful luxurious place. We only talked to one woman, and she was very nice, very kind, answered all our questions, and was very considerate of our wants and needs. The only thing that stopped us was we could not afford that kind of rent a month. We love the place.

My brother in law really likes his spacious and brand new apartment but they are so short staffed. There is no chef in the dining room that the brochures and online photos brag about. There has not been a piece of fruit on the menu the entire time he has lived there. Food and coffee is always cold. Proper nutrition seems to be ignored when it comes to simple fruit and vegetables. Nursing and administration staff is very nice and say they are aware of dining issues but little has been done to get professional management and chef. Dining staff needs supervision and training.

While the facility is very new, nice and clean - the food my father receives in the dining room is awful. I understand they are most likely understaffed, but he said the wait for a meal is over 30 minutes and usually the food is burnt or ice cold. We are now spending our own money on groceries so he can prepare his own food. They are raising the rent in January yet fail to provide anything close to a meal that tastes good.

My Mom moved to Traditions in July of 2020 which is shortly after it opened. It has been a great move for her. She was welcomed by the staff and has been treated wonderfully by all of them since the day she moved in. I would like to thank each of them especially Robin, Patti, Deb, Sandy, Brenda, Alex, and Steve for their kindness towards my Mom. My brothers, sisters-in-law, and I are extremely happy with Traditions and happy with the care that she gets. My Mom is very happy so we are very happy. Thanks for all you do for her!

Traditions at North Bend was very nice, spacious, and clean. The room I saw was larger than most. The staff during the tour was very nice and helpful. I really like the place. It's the first one that we went to and I really liked it, but mom did not want to deal with elevators. That's why we didn't do that one. I didn't try the food, but they sent me home with a piece of cheesecake from the chef, and it was good.

Traditions at North Bend was beautiful and brand new. It was like going into a hotel. It's just my mom could not afford that place. If I was the one going in, I would like to go there. It was very nice. It was just really quiet though. I didn't see a lot of residents, but it was beautiful. It really was.

Traditions at North Bend was very nice. It had a walking space outside, but you pull out into a very busy street which is not ideal for seniors. The inside of the building was nice. I only met one person who gave us the tour. We saw the dining area, and it looked nice. The apartments were also nice. Because of Covid, they aren't letting just everybody walk around everywhere. It's a new building, so things are nice because it's brand new. They've only been open I think about a year.

My mom moved into Traditions at North Bend. She hates it. It's not necessarily because of the place, it's just because of the situation. She's in the memory care unit. We liked it because it was new, and it was close to my sister and me. They have some stuff for her to do like games and bingo.
