"My mother-in-law is at Atria Northgate Park. She has dementia, so she doesn’t know everything that’s going on there, but they do offer a lot. They offer a lot of family gatherings. They do a lot to incorporate the family into the day with them. They have nice meals to go along with that, so there are always entertainers. They bring in singers and musicians. They have bingo a couple times a week. They have arts and crafts. They do a lot for the residents. The staff is very kind and caring. The only thing I can say in a negative tone was they actually have a lot of outbreaks that they have to be quarantined. That’s the only negative I can say about the place. The staff has been very kind and very receptive to any questions you have. The nurses are great at that. They’re very kind to my mother-in-law. "

"Silverfern Cincinnati North was clean and nice. The staffing was pleasant. The activities were phenomenal. They have so many things for the seniors to do. It was very impressive. Even with family engagement, they have a special room for the kids to play, which I thought was great. There's a fantastic place for them to play. You could have your seniors and your kids in one place and have that interaction. You could give time and attention to the seniors, so that was very impressive. I like the apartments more than the ones that we have at the other place because it is a little larger."

"Evergreen is beautiful. The grounds are lovely; you’re never looking out on a parking lot or at another building. It’s all landscaped gardens and a lovely building. My parents haven’t moved in yet, but they had a 2-bedroom apartment coming available, and it was due to be completely remodeled. We felt like it was a little more upscale. They got brand new kitchen cabinets, countertop, appliances, and new carpet. They got to pick the carpet and the paint colors. The rooms and the dining room are very, very nice. The staff was very nice. They have outings and trips to the grocery. They provide transportation anywhere you want to go. They have musicians and guest lecturers coming in. They have art classes. "

"My brother is staying at Blue Rock Senior Living. There are very few residents there. My brother said the food is just tolerable. He says sometimes it's not that good, but he gets plenty of food. The room is very small, but he's making the best of it. I think they keep it very clean. The TV system that they have is Roku, so my brother cannot watch any Reds or Bengals games on his TV, and that's probably the biggest improvement they could make. There's one lady there who's been very helpful to him. She helped him set up his computer and other things. They do my brother's laundry once a week. They clean his room once a week. They have a stairlift, but it's very slow. Their courtyard and patio are very good. They have a very small library, so my brother goes to the public library."

"My mother has moved into Ohio Living Llanfair. It's clean, well kept, and it doesn't stink as my wife would say. The rooms got new carpet, and they painted it. The rooms are nice. The staff is very professional and very thorough. We like the people that we've dealt with. She's not complaining about the food, so I would say it's good. I know they're having a Christmas party today. They have happy hours on Fridays, bingo, a big TV room, and games."

"The Summit of Blue Ash is a very good community. We toured their assisted living community. They have all kinds of activities for senior citizens, and the rooms are very beautiful to live in. They have good staff there, and they work with the seniors really well. They take you out on field trips, or if you have to go to Walmart or someplace like that, they take you out like that, too. The lady who gave the tour was sweet and very nice. We sampled the food, and it looked really good. The atmosphere was really awesome, and the facility was very clean. It's an excellent place to be. I wish we could have afforded it."

"I like the staff at Barrington of West Chester, the roominess, it was very clean and affordable. The staff that gave me the tour were very nice and helpful. They gave me scones which were excellent. They just have a lot to offer and the upkeep is good. It's located only 20 minutes from my house, and it's right next to everything. "

"Traditions at North Bend is fairly new. It's clean, large and very spacious. They have very nice single rooms. I even have a free meal card if I try to go over and have a meal with them. They offered me a meal card to come in and sit and talk with them. They took me through the whole building and showed me all the different areas where they work with people. The people seemed to be happy. I like their program. They went over their program to keep the people busy and not sitting. They said that the rooms were all about the same because we just stuck to the first floor. The person who toured me was fine. He was the director. He was very knowledgeable and interested."

"We went to the assisted living and skilled nursing facilities of Seasons. It was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant. It's in the middle of being somewhat remodeled. We liked it, but we can't move my mother yet. The model room had a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchen, and it was clean. The dining area looked fine and the staff was friendly."

"Deerfield Springs Retirement Community is a very nice facility. Everyone there is all independent. They've got a lot of interesting features that I didn't know about in the other retirement communities. The guy took me on a tour of the whole place, all the different rooms, like the exercise room, arts and crafts room, card tables, and theater. You name it, they've got it. I was overwhelmed, plus it's a very new facility. He showed me a couple of the one-bedrooms and also three-bedrooms. The only drawback I saw was they have a waiting list for two-bedrooms.The one-bedroom and the three-bedroom are currently available. It was immaculate, very modern, and very clean. All of the interior was beautiful. It was almost something I would see in Las Vegas. It's a resort style. People can come and go as they please when they want, but the nice feature that I thought was you can stay there month-to-month. There's no contract, and there's no entrance fee."

"Traditions at Camargo was a lovely community. The people were very personable and very helpful. The facility was excellent, and it looked great. The apartments looked very nice, very roomy, and very clean, and I think that it would probably be a good place to live. It had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The dining area was beautiful. I met the chef and he seemed very nice. I liked the fact that they open at 7 in the morning and they close at 6, but you could go down there any time in between and get something to eat. They also had a place where you could get coffee, juice, and snacks at any time. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very lovely and very personable. The ones that I met were very helpful and concerned about how I was being treated."

"We toured Traditions of Deerfield. The person who took us through was very pleasant, and it's a very nice environment. Everything seems to be very congenial. It was nice, neat, and clean, and the whole nine yards. The rooms are nice size. We looked at a one-bedroom. I guess you call it an apartment, a living room, and a bedroom. They have a place where they have happy hours. The dining room was nice. They have a library and a nice courtyard. They have a menu, and whatever we saw looked like it would be good. It was a nice variety of choices and whatever."

"My dad is at Barrington of Oakley. The staff, the rooms, the food and the surrounding are all great. I would recommend it to others. "
