"We toured Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community. It's user-friendly. It's just going to be more comfortable for me. The people are extremely nice and extremely helpful. It's a group of buildings. I'll have my own front door that walks outside instead of opening my front door and being in a hallway. We met some people as we were walking through looking at the place, and they were very friendly and immediately started talking to me, and gave me some tips on people to call and ask questions from."

"I’m so happy with my new home I wanted to share with others! I can speak first hand about how difficult it is to find the right place when the time comes. I have definitely found that place! Huntington Court staff is so caring and thoughtful, they don’t even feel like staff it’s like a big family. The room sizes are perfect, food is good, and they are on top of all my health issues. If this review can just help one person that will make me feel good. "

All in all, though she was obvious not as comfortable as she could have been, the staff made every possible effort to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. The activities staff planned activities at almost all times of the day including bingo, puzzles, games and exercises. My Dad really enjoyed chair volleyball and murder mystery dinner night. The heated indoor pool is a nice amenity, but Dad also really enjoyed all the nice outdoor spaces. "

"My dad moved to Bradford Place Care Center. Everybody there seems so nice and so helpful. They set up the whole room for him. They had a bed, chest drawers, a nightstand, a table, and a television. They provided three meals a day. My dad says the food is good. The facility is nice and clean. They have stuff on the calendar every day, and looks like they have three things every day."

The room is well cared for even as is the whole facility I have witnessed. As a family member I have had good repour with staff members who are very friendly. "I first visited this facility back in January of last year when we were looking for a place for my grandma. We were very impressed with the facility and the staff that helped guide us around! In the end, we decided to go with Doverwood and so happy we did! There is lots to do here and they always have my grandma busy! She loves to watch animal planet and the staff knows it! Every time we come to visit they have it on for her, so thoughtful! She really enjoys the food and community all together. It is so nice just seeing her happy and healthy. We know she is being taken well care of and that is really what matters to us the most! "

"First our Mother was admitted there, mainly because her doctor would visit there. But we came to love the place. They treated our Mother like she was there grandma too. She was on the alzihiemer unit. They were very caring, lots of activities, extra snacks at night and the staff would buy her a Pepsi out of there pocket when she ran out. There were very attentive to her skin needs and would call me immediately to let me know if she needed anything. Mother loved Elvis and they had an impersonator who came in regularly and she would dance and dance. We loved the center so much, when our Father was diagnosed with the same thing, we admitted him there too. He was a very grumpy fellow at home, but there, he was very happy and satisfied. Lots of attention. Regular nurse meetings to go over their care and what they needed. We were very pleased, and would highly recommend you visit the center for your loved one. Mother lived there for about 5 years and Father for about a year. They both passed away at the center. The staffed stayed right with us and helped us with attaining a Catholic priest for last rights. I had no idea my Father was Catholic. He never told me. I even helped out at the center and took in goodies to share. At Christmas time, they always made sure everyone got a gift, especially if they had no family. We were very satisfied with their care. "

"Dad was here just over 3 years. Facilities are kept clean. Decor is always nice and smells good. Staff is compassionate and caring. Tons of activities for residents and monthly outings to casinos, eateries and/or stores. Anytime I ever had to call in to have someone help me with Dad, my calls were always answered quickly and help was given right away. Dad was happy as he could be having to be in a nursing home. During his final hospice days, the staff was family as they cried saying good bye to one of their own. Thumbs up all the way!! Take time and visit the facility, you will get the same "feel" I did. "

"Sanctuary Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was very good. It's a fairly new facility and it's very comfortable. It turned out to be a very nice place. It was very clean. My uncle appreciated the staff. They were good enough for him, and he was satisfied with the food. They had an outdoor area where patients can go like a gazebo. They had accommodating grounds."

"Triple Creek Retirement Community was very nice, and I really like it. It would be my first choice if I were to go to a place because the price was a lot better. It is also in the general area where we are living now, and we would still be close to our churches, doctors, and everything. I had a nice tour, they were ready for me, and they weren't pushy or anything. The staff showed me the individual independent homes. Those were very nice, and they even had a garage. The one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms were the same price. I thought that was interesting because they had a little extra room with the one-bedroom that could have been like an office or something. I got to see a room in the memory care wing. It was fine, and it was like a little hospital room. I met one of the residents who was obviously having memory problems, and he was very pleasant. The staff talked with him, and apparently he knew her, so that was nice that she was getting around and meeting people. The only thing I didn't like is that, if you live in the village homes (the separate independent units) there was a pretty long walk up to the clubhouse where you would get meals. Meals were not included in the price. They were $5 each meal, but you didn't have to eat at all, and you can cook at home."

"I have toured Maple Knoll Village Cincinnati, OH. It's clean, there were lots of activities that are internal or external. My negative on that is the financial aspect. They require that you have to come in with a one-time entrance rate, which is anywhere from $100,000 to $300,0000. So that's a requirement with them. Their apartments were roomy with good views, and many of them have balconies. Their staff was very helpful, very friendly, and very approachable. The food is very good and there are lots of opportunities. So aside from the dining area, they had an all-day cafe kind of thing where you could get sandwiches and snacks."
