"My cousin is at Envive Healthcare of Lawrenceburg's skilled nursing facility. The facility is being upgraded, but it is pleasant and clean. The staff is also pleasant, but they're not really proactive about contacting me regarding her status. She's on a special liquid diet, so she's not happy with anything, but they've made a good attempt at providing nourishing and balanced food. She's participating in physical and speech therapy. She refused the manicure, which we tried to get her. Hopefully, when they have the facility set up, she'll get a trip to the hair salon. She's been reluctant to leave her door, but that's just the way she's wired. They present the opportunity, but they don't press her for a yes. Her room has been very good, and they provide good activities."

"My sister has been a resident for at least three years. The staff are caring and work hard to keep family members informed . We are especially pleased that Tiffany Meyer, Activity Director, arranges FaceTime video chats between my sister and me as we live on the west coast. We appreciate her kindness and gentle manner with my sister. We’re so glad Tiffany is there for us. She’s a real asset to Shady Nook!"

"The nurses did not have a great bedside manner, they seemed to more in a hurry to get the job done and did not put a lot of care into their work. The CNA's, however, were awesome. The ladies that I had contact with there treated my friend with compassion and care while still enabling him to keep his dignity and class. Seeing this really changed my opinion about assisted living facilities. The Waters of Dillsboro was clean and well-kept. They served nutritious meals and had staff that assisted some residents with eating. The staff showed patience and seemed to really care about the people they were helping. I did notice that the CNA's would occasionally do some things that only nurses are permitted to do. for instance, a CNA changed a bag collecting bowel movements before cleaning a resident up because the nurse was taking a very long time, and the resident was uncomfortable in the mess. The CNA even stated that she was not suppose to do that, but the lady started crying, so she did it anyway. I do not believe that she was being a bad assistant, but the nurse was not up to par. "

"Three Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was pretty similar to the one that we chose, but the big difference was the proximity because my mom needs to visit my dad, and the one that we chose was very close in a straight shot versus Three Rivers that was a little harder to get to for somebody just moving to Cincinnati. Nevertheless, they walked us around the whole facility. There were three different wings, so we got a preview of one of the wings. We checked out the exercise room, the cafe, the semi-private room, and the private room. They had nice common areas. It also had a front and a back garden. Maintenance and cleanliness were great."

"Premier Estates of Three River is very good to us. They helped my wife get Medicaid-approved. The rooms are semi-private and private. They're fairly large. The rooms all have individual showers. They have a memory care unit as well as a three-bed unit."

"I like Harrison Trail Health Campus. It is a really nice place. It's brand new. It's clean. I like the apartments that they have. They have efficiency rooms and one-bedroom rooms. I like the community. It seems like it's a close-knit community. You can have your car. The meals are included in the community, and I thought that's really nice. I think the staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very kind. She spent a lot of time. It's a beautiful facility."

"My mother has been a resident of Western Hills for exactly a year today. She feels like it is home since Dad is gone and that is due to the staff. The nurses and aids that visit every day are all friendly and cheery when they stop in and the front desk attendees are always upbeat when I visit which is very often. Overall, the staff from top to bottom is what makes Western Hills a great place for Mom. She always says the meals are very tasty and she enjoys the company she eats with. Overall, Mom seems very happy and content at Western Hills and my brother and I are extremely grateful for that."

"I toured Belmont Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It's local, and that was the biggest thing that steered me towards the ones I'm looking at. It looked very clean, and everything looked very nice. It was just like a walkthrough to where I could see the dining area, one of the empty rooms, and what it looked like. I saw some of the common areas, which were nicely furnished. The staff was very helpful and nice."

"I just wanted to write a little review about our experience at Oak Hills. My brother went there after a hospitalization for rehabilitation and had a great expierence. The building is older but the care was wonderful. The nursing staff was very nice and responsive to his needs. The therapist were very good with getting him back to where he needed to return to his home safely! "

"I don't think the sanitation is good in Florence Park. My mother broke her leg and she was bedbound and a couple of times she had to lay there on her own spills for quite a while before someone came and it usually happens on weekends when they are short of staff, but through the week, everything seems to be handled pretty well. I don't think the rooms are as sanitary and clean. The people are just fine and I have no issues. They came every time we had to address something. The cleaning staff need to make sure that the rooms and bathrooms are clean and disinfected definitely. They need to be more alert especially on weekends. "
