"My dad moved to Glen Oaks Health Campus. I like it because of where it's located. There are not many businesses around except for a church on the one side, but that's about it. They've got open spots, I can take him outside and they seem like they got their heads together. They've got therapy and then they've got bingo, a religious service on Sundays, and a game room. Then they've got a bunch of different TV rooms, so if you don't want to sit in your room, you can watch it down there. My dad has no teeth and they brought him something he couldn't chew. When I told them, they said I could just take it for myself and then I went and got him something else. The food was good. The facility is very nice, very clean, and very up to date."

"My sister is at Morning Breeze Retirement Community and Healthcare. She's getting therapy there. It's OK. She's in a therapy room. They have games, and really pretty dining room. They can go outside and sit on the swings and chairs."

"This home is older and does not look like it has been updated in a long time. The art on the walls is outdated and so is the flooring. This is the only reason i would not give it 5 stars. The staff is attentive and friendly and makes my grandmother feel at home. I visit all hours of the day and night to check on her and pick up and drop off things for her. No matter what the hour the staff is at the same level of service, excellent. The place is always clean and all the other residents always appear happy and well taken care of when I visit. The food is excellent. They offer a visitor menu and from time to time I have trialed the food. It is actually really good. I am a little concerned about the lack of security at the front door. There is no code or lock to keep people out that do not belong there. Otherwise, my grandmother is doing very well and seems to be happy which our biggest concern is! "

"Dee, Kodi and everyone at Brandywine are wonderful and caring people. They have helped and provided guidance to me in helping admit a family member that transferred from another state, but when we had an unfortunate accident with my mother in law, they stepped up to help again and made the admission, rehab and care an easy transition. What an incredible group of people and a great facility in our community! "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very caring for here especially when she started to really get worse off. The environment its self was very clean and bright. I talked to many residence and all of them were extremely happy with the care they were being given and the moral support from the staff. I have had many dinners at the home and the food was always great and healthy. It is fairly centrally located and therefor easy to get to. they also provide trips to the residents and family, things like bowling and such. they have many activities to do around the home. they have board games and bingo and all the things loved by the current older generation. I would surely recommend this to any family going through the tough time of finding a place for parents or grandparents to stay. They will make the process easy and you will know your family member is in good hands. "

"Everyone at this facility has been a blessing to our family. The administrator, admissions, program director for reflections have been honest and caring. The loving nature of the nurses, aids, and activity people are very much like a family. Amazing what the rehabilitation did for my mom. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate each and every one of these amazing people. "

"Everyone at Heritage House was very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and they seemed to be patient focused. They have quite a variety of activities for the residents like craft and puzzles. "

"We had a tour of Springhurst Health Campus. The place was beautiful, and they were very involved with the residents. They make sure they get out and do lots of stuff. The person who gave the tour was very nice. They had amenities like a gym, salon, and a game room. They also had a nice outdoor space. It's located very close to everything, to the town, hospitals, restaurants, and shopping. The place itself was very clean and very nice."

"Sugar Creek was very nice, and the staff was friendly. The building was very old and remodeled. Most of the patients seemed to be happy and in a good mood. They had an activity coordinator and they take the residents on field trips, to the stores, or out to eat. There's plenty of things for them to do. They feed them well, and my brother is putting weight back on. The nurses and finance managers are great but the social workers not so much. My brother is there on a special arrangement with Medicaid."

"The residents at The Waters of Batesville seem to be pretty happy. Our mother had a little trouble in the beginning, but the nurses have done their work and the next day she was fine. They've been pretty good so far. She shares her room with a roommate and they seem to be happy with the amount of space they have. The facility is very clean. They have smaller and bigger common areas throughout different wings of the buildings, like a pretty big lunch room, which is pretty nice for people to gather."

"The first impression of this Resident home was How small it was. The rooms were smaller than the room I had as a teen at my parents house. The facility is clean and expresses a friendly environment. I also noticed that everytime I visited it seemed as though they were understaffed. Never enough employees there to provide a safe level of care. Patients ranged from Semi-independent to completely dependant. Some of the residents had dirty fingernails and messy hair, but others seemed very well groomed. My biggest fear was that the administrator seemed to have no idea how to make the place function properly. I actually filed a complaint because I noticed how he mistreated the staff and even a few residents. Most of the nurses and CNA's seemed to be knowledgeable and skilled, but also seemed burnt out and frustrated. I don't believe I would choose to allow a family member to reside there. "

"My Aunt is at Pinehurst, which is a nursing home that is located in Centerville IN. Pinehurst isn't a bad place; they take good care of my Aunt; however it feels more like a hospital than a home. When you walk in you walk down a hallway with no color or anything that would attract a person's attention. It even smells like a hospital. I don't ever see them do any games or "fun time". I have had dinner with my aunt a few times and the food isn't the best. There isn't a big verity of food to choose from. Again it seems that the people who live there are more like in a hospital than a facility in which they live. But like I said they do provide and take great care of all the people that live there and I guess in the end that is what matters. "

"Millers Merry Manor is a beautiful facility set next to Shaefers Lake outside of Hope Indiana. Upon my initial visit the staff were very friendly and toured the facility with my brother and I and showed us the living accommodations, cafeteria or dining area, shower and bathing area, and recreational area which included a garden out side both wings for warm weather. They conducted certain activities on every other mid-afternoon. Activities included bingo, bible study, birthday parties, outings, and relaxing outside. During holidays the staff throw little parties to make residents at home, and help make them feel involved in their new community. Their is even a resident council which handles easy tasks to bring out the busy body in the residents that require such. Local churches often come to the facility and conduct service for those residents whom would like to and is encouraged. Local clubs also spend time with the residents such as the boy scouts bring in new decorations for the facility. In whole this facility was well kept, respectful to residents and their rights, and provide a loving long-term care or rehabilitation environment. "
